Very satisfied stay. This time I lived in a mountain view bed room, the orchard was outside the window, and the view was very wide. The bedding was very comfortable and clean. The room is also equipped with free mineral water, and the details can see the hotel's intentions. The towels are thick and soft, and the bath towels are also very absorbent, not the thin cheap goods. I looked at the bathroom, the toilet was very white, and I gave full marks for the overall sanitary conditions.

Highly, highly, highly recommend! What a pleasant surprise. The room was spacious, and the outdoor terrace was absolutely fantastic. You can call the front desk from anywhere in the resort for an electric buggy pick-up, and they're super responsive. At 180, it came with 2 free tickets, making the room practically free. I was so impressed, I immediately booked another night. The evening bonfire party at the resort wasn't boring at all; we actually participated and interacted the whole time. All the amusement rides are like 'lite' versions, which is great and perfect for both old and young kids. You can buy an 88-yuan package for unlimited play for 3 days.

We were upgraded to a suite, which was lovely. The afternoon tea and breakfast were also great. The hotel staff at the front desk even gave carrots to the deer, which was a nice touch. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a garden and a pool. There are even flowers planted by students from the Sino-Swiss school, which adds a wonderful cultural touch. Parking was ample, and the hotel elevators were fast and cool. The bathtub was perfect for a relaxing soak. For the package price, this place is truly excellent – those who stay here will understand!

The fact that you need a room card to enter the main gate really made me feel safe and secure; there was no need to worry about being disturbed at all.
Opening the door, I was greeted by a lush green view, and even the air carried the fresh scent of plants. The constant-temperature pool was my absolute favorite – soaking in the water, surrounded by greenery, felt like being gently embraced. I didn't want to get out!
What was even more delightful was that the hotel also provided exquisite afternoon tea and breakfast. Both the presentation and taste were excellent, making it super easy to take great photos without needing to find other photo spots.
The room was spacious and clean, with thoughtful details everywhere. What truly impressed me was the butler service; they were always gentle and smiling, responding incredibly quickly to any requests. It felt as comfortable as being looked after by a friend.

This hotel is located in a small town in Hainan, close to Haitang Bay and Wuzhizhou Island Pier. It's also near the Linwang Night Market and Linwang Fruit Market, with a fruit market right across the street. In the evenings, you can enjoy some local Hainanese street food, and before heading home, pick up some Hainan specialty mangoes – they'll be home just as you are! The hotel service was unexpectedly excellent. They offer freshly ground coffee, perfect for a pick-me-up before heading out for the day. On the day we planned to see the 'C Show', the entire town experienced a power outage. The front desk staff thoughtfully messaged us to let us know power was expected around 8 PM, and even offered the option to check out and move to another hotel with electricity if we couldn't wait. Truly considerate service!

GGuest UserThis was my second stay at the InterContinental, and this time it was for two nights. The underwater restaurant is quite unique. Winnie was incredibly thoughtful; despite a tight room situation, she managed to upgrade us to a Deluxe Seaview room. The room attendant kept our room very clean, tidying it up both days, and was very responsive, immediately arranging whatever we needed.
The staff at the hotel entrance were also proactive, helping with luggage and opening car doors.
The breakfast spread was extensive, with various local noodle dishes, fresh juices, and even a dedicated buffet area for kids, which felt very reassuring. My child thoroughly enjoyed the mini-train ride and participated in many activities like making hamburgers. Haitang Bay is relatively quiet, and the beach isn't crowded, with tons of crab holes! Haha. It's also very convenient for duty-free shopping, as the hotel has its own shuttle route.
Just before check-out, my child insisted on going for a swim, and Winnie once again worked her magic, helping us extend our check-out until 1:30 PM. A huge thank you!
Aside from the bad weather, our stay at the hotel was very comfortable. Hope to come back again.

LL RomanThe hotel is beyond expectations. It is located in Xiaodonghai Bay. We were vacationing with our daughter of 1.4 years old. We went for complete privacy, silence and relaxation. The hotel consists only of villas, there are about 30 of them, there are no building rooms, which ensures privacy and silence. The territory is large, incredibly well maintained and very beautiful. Beauty is in the details. The villa itself is well planned and consists of a main house and a small additional one. We had lunch here when we ordered something in the room. The personnel brought a high chair for my daughter and it stayed here during all days of our vacation. Interestingly, they don't just bring food to the room, but also serve the table. It's nice.
In general, the staff is as attentive as possible, this is reflected in the little things. The breakfast was included in the accommodation, so we either went to the hotel restaurant for lunch and dinner (only Thai and Chinese cuisine, but there is a children's menu and we ordered something for our daughter), and something Thai for ourselves. Everything is cooked very tasty and of high-quality. It was at this hotel that I first tasted the local Hainan dessert - cold coconut milk soup with fruits and cereals. I'm not a big fan of Chinese food in general, but I really liked this soup! We also ordered food directly to the villa through the Chinese app Elema (饿了么), which is in Chinese. We didn't go to street restaurants. In general, in China, the delivery of ready-made food is incredibly developed, you can order anything and anywhere. If we needed a taxi, we ordered it through the Chinese Didi (弟弟）app. But we didn't want to leave the villa and the hotel at all, we spent most of our time by the pool. Usually we need the sea, but this time it was so good to chill out at the villa that we somehow didn't need the sea). Moreover, we have a little daughter, and so far it has been more convenient to swim with her in our own pool than at sea.
We used Alipay to pay everywhere. During our stay, we visited the spa several times, took various treatments (body scrubs, various massages), we really liked everything. They do it efficiently, I recommend it. I also recommend trying small drinking coconuts in Hainan - they are divine! The very taste of a rich bounty)). Look for small brownish colors, no more than 10 cm in diameter, it has a very rich thick sweet taste of coconut. About the sea: if you are looking for active swimming in the sea, the hotel may not be suitable. It's very shallow here (that's okay) and after about 100 meters, where it's still shallow, there's an underwater breakwater. Therefore, if you swim, you will just bump into it. Because of this, there are no waves in the bay. But there are algae growing on the bottom. It may be possible to swim well during a very strong tide, but it was not possible to swim during our visit. That's why we spent the day at the villa, swimming and relaxing there. And after sunset, we went out for a walk along the shore, admired the sunset, played with our daughter in the sand and on the playground, and also strolled along the pier. For some reason, for the first time, we really didn't really want to swim in the sea). In general, if you want to spend your entire vacation in complete relaxation with the chirping of birds, the sound of the wind and the lapping of waves, then I definitely recommend Banyan tree.

GGuest UserWe stayed in the Wild Goose room type during the May Day holiday. During our stay, we saw squirrels, chameleons, and small monkeys in the park. Compared to Yunnan and Hangzhou, the squirrels here were the biggest I've ever seen, which shows the excellent ecological environment on the mountain. The hotel's breakfast was great, much better than the Hilton Yalong Bay where we stayed the previous two days. My picky eater child's appetite proved that, and the breakfast restaurant offers sea views, which makes eating more enjoyable. If you like peace and quiet, I recommend staying here for two nights. If you prefer a lively atmosphere, I'd suggest staying by the sea. It's lovely to quietly enjoy the sea view here, dine at a sea-view restaurant, and swim in a sea-view pool. However, if you want to experience bustling night markets and seafood stalls, you'll need to go down the mountain, which is quite inconvenient (as I got a bit carsick twice going down, even just from the lobby to Baihua Valley, a personal experience). The resort is divided into several areas, essentially small hilltops, from which you can see Haitang Bay (we could see a bit from our room) and Yalong Bay. Different room types, restaurants, and pools are also distributed across these various hilltops. If you have specific requirements regarding these, I recommend calling the hotel beforehand. After check-in, a manager contacts you. This time, Manager Sun who contacted us was excellent; she responded very promptly to any questions. She helped us book a guide service that the hotel cooperates with the scenic area. Additionally, the housekeeping staff would call to confirm if cleaning was needed. Overall, the hotel's service is definitely up to standard.

MMs.TeeI had such an amazing stay at the JW Marriott Hotel Sanya Dadonghai Bay. The location is honestly perfect — everything you need is right there. You can simply walk down to the beach, enjoy water activities, and explore so many restaurants nearby. It’s the kind of place where you never feel isolated because there’s always something happening around you.
One of the things I loved most is that the hotel is connected to the Shanhaitian Resort Sanya, Autograph Collection. If you’re staying at JW Marriott, you can also enjoy their pools and facilities, which really adds to the whole experience.
The hotel itself has so much to offer, especially for families. There are daily kids’ activities, and my son was never bored — there was always something fun planned. The playground is huge and honestly looks futuristic, like something out of a movie. It’s such a dream space for children. They also have a beautiful swimming pool, which makes it even more enjoyable to spend your days there.
I also visited Casa Corona Beach Club, and it was such a vibe. The atmosphere, the food, and the whole setting made it a really memorable experience.
The spa was another highlight — so relaxing and exactly what you need when you’re trying to unwind and take care of yourself. On top of that, the service throughout the hotel was incredible. The staff really made everything feel smooth, welcoming, and special.
It’s honestly just a great place to be with your family. I would highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a beautiful beachfront stay with lots of activities, especially if you’re traveling with kids. It truly has everything — location, experiences, and comfort.

Cleanliness: The room was clean, and the cleaning staff were very polite. Our 'Nai Long' themed room was on the 8th floor, and honestly, the view from the corridor was an unexpected bonus – absolutely stunning! When the weather is good ☁️, the sea looks so beautiful 😻 and incredibly therapeutic~
Facilities: For the price, the facilities are incredibly comprehensive. The pool, gym, kids' club, indoor and outdoor activities are all available, plus a beach lounge area, shuttle bus, aquarium 🐟, and restaurant. Environment: It's conveniently located near three major commercial streets, making it super easy to get around. There are also many dining options nearby.
Service: Gina from Guest Services was wonderful ❤️. She made my entire vacation delightful. GGuest UserThe environment is fantastic! For a hotel costing just over 1000, the ambiance alone is worth 800! The room was very spacious, and the ocean view was absolutely stunning! Although the weather was bad and rainy when we arrived, making the room a bit damp, we contacted the front desk and they immediately sent up a dehumidifier. Our butler, Bella, provided excellent service! We wanted to check in early, and she actively helped us with the process. The complimentary travel photography offered by the hotel was also great! If I come back to Sanya, I'd definitely consider staying at Mangrove Tree again!

LLirongzhaozhaoOur family of three (with a three-year-old) stayed for five days and four nights, and we pretty much spent all our time at the hotel or nearby. It's just a few minutes' walk to the beach, and overall, it was excellent! 👍 You really have to experience it yourself to know how good it is. A big thanks to Sunny for her attentiveness; even during the busy May Day holiday, her replies were quick, and our requests were handled promptly and efficiently!
🏨 **Facilities**: It has a sort of vintage, old-money vibe – spacious, which I really liked. No issues with our stay, and the duvet wasn't too thick! It was just right for sleeping with the AC on at night; adults weren't cold, and the child wasn't hot! Plus, when we asked for a bed rail, the housekeeping staff literally knocked on our door right after we finished speaking. They installed it incredibly fast, without any fuss, and were gone in a flash – unbelievably quick!
🧹 **Cleanliness**: The entire hotel was spotless and refreshing, and room cleaning was very efficient! Sometimes we only needed the trash taken out and nothing else, and a quick word to Sunny was all it took – everything was perfectly arranged.
🌴 **Environment**: It's got a kind of retro American garden aesthetic, definitely a resort feel! The public areas are large and beautiful, and the night view is stunning. The big lawn is absolutely amazing (yyds)! All three pools are lovely, and the children's pool is truly excellent 🛝. The hotel has so many picturesque spots for photos; it felt like we could get all those trending Sanya photo ops right here at the hotel! The value of hotels on Haitang Bay is definitely on the rise.
🍳 **Dining**: Breakfast was very rich, with slight variations each day. The kids' section had plenty of options too, with a dedicated area for babies, as well as large round tables and multi-person tables, perfect for big families. The Western restaurant by the pool was also great and delicious. Ordering takeout was convenient and delivered quickly; we just had to pick it up at the entrance, which I thought was fine, like a little walk 🚶.
🏋️ **Gym**: Very good! It's located near the children's adventure playground. Most of the equipment had usage tutorials, making them simple and easy to operate. Our family of three tried out all the equipment, and the child had even more fun than going out!
👶 **Kids' Club**: The area for younger children is a bit small, but still enough to play in. More toys would be even better. There's another larger one for kids aged 5 and up, which costs extra. Kids can even experience riding horses 🐎 and ostriches right here at the hotel – can you believe it?
📷 Because we had our child with us, we usually only visited one attraction per day and always came back to the hotel for an afternoon nap. We spent a lot of time at the hotel and never felt bored. Even during May Day, it wasn't overly crowded, very orderly, and quiet. There were so many things to do at the hotel: swimming, walking, watching small animals, enjoying the sea, digging in the sand, afternoon tea, playing in the kids' club, riding the mini train, collecting shells, and more. In short, we were all very satisfied, had a very pleasant holiday, and it was excellent value for money 👍. We will definitely come again next time! 🥳

LLynne2234Our Sanya trip was absolutely perfect! I have to give a special shout-out to Manager Van at the front desk for his exceptional service. Not only did we pick the right hotel for our family trip to Sanya, but we also received incredibly heartwarming service, which I simply must rave about! We arrived in Sanya on an early flight, prepared to wait until the afternoon for check-in. We had already contacted the hotel beforehand, explaining that we were traveling with seniors and children and hoping for an earlier check-in if possible. Manager Van kept an eye out for clean, vacated rooms for us the day before, and we were checked in within just 10 minutes of arriving – so thoughtful! During our stay, Manager Van quickly and effectively handled all our needs, big and small. We wanted to try local seafood but were worried about tourist traps, so Manager Van recommended a local eatery frequented by residents. The food was delicious, and the prices were very reasonable – much better value than the popular influencer-recommended spots. My child forgot their sand toys, and Manager Van promptly brought over a brand new set of shovels and buckets, which kept my little one happy all afternoon. The level of service was just right – not overly enthusiastic to the point of being awkward, yet always responsive the moment we needed something. Professional and warm, it's truly rare to find such meticulously attentive service. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Sanya, and I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and Manager Van's amazing service to anyone planning a trip to Sanya. Choosing this place ensures you won't be disappointed!

GGuest UserMy extensive research definitely paid off! I chose the perfect first hotel for my Sanya trip. I was a bit worried based on some online reviews, but after two days, it totally exceeded my expectations. The hotel's surroundings are beautiful, and the location is excellent; you can see the ocean right from the lobby. It has a huge pool and water play area that seamlessly blend into its private beach. While the decor is a bit dated and the facilities are older, the bones of the place are solid. The breakfast buffet was also decent and, for me personally, met my needs. Not far from the hotel are Baishuigu Valley and Yatai Commercial Street, with night markets, BBQ, and restaurants, making dining very convenient. After dinner, strolling back with the sea breeze was both good for digestion and very pleasant. Oh, and the hotel also offers free airport shuttle and duty-free shop buses, which is great. It might have been the off-season, but I was lucky enough to get a free upgrade to a room with an unbeatable sea view. For this price in Yalong Bay, it's excellent value for money. The front desk staff, especially CC, provided very thoughtful service. I'd love to stay here again next time I'm in Yalong Bay.

The hotel is situated in a prime location in Haitang Bay, just a few minutes' walk from the pristine white sand beach, and the ocean views are absolutely stunning. We booked a sea-view room, and the scenery was fantastic, plus the room was spotless. The breakfast spread was also very generous. Our butler, Linna, provided exceptional service as well. Overall, we were extremely satisfied with our stay.
