MM22200****The Taiyuan Nanzhonghuan Intercity Hotel is conveniently located directly opposite the International Financial Center, offering easy access to dining and shopping. Parking is convenient, making it ideal for guests traveling by car. The hotel is very new, with well-equipped rooms and a simple yet elegant decor. It's exceptionally clean, and the breakfast is extensive, featuring both Western and Chinese options, as well as local Shanxi specialties. The front desk service was excellent; they thoughtfully upgraded my room. Everything was thoroughly satisfying, and I'll definitely choose the Nanzhonghuan Intercity Hotel again on my next visit to Taiyuan.

HHuniuyoushijieFacilities: I spontaneously decided to fly to Taiyuan, booked my flight, and then immediately booked this hotel without much research or looking into it. I completely trusted Ctrip's recommendations, so I went with this one. When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised by how much value I got for my money. The hotel features smart-home amenities, and the front desk on the 40th floor, though small, is incredibly well-equipped, offering a laundry room, gym, and even a coffee bar. It's perfect for business travelers and families with seniors and children.
Cleanliness: For this price point, I'm very satisfied with the cleaning standards. As a frequent guest at five-star hotels, if I had to be picky, I'd say the pillowcases and duvets could be ironed a bit flatter, haha.
Environment: The location is excellent. After my flight, I took the subway to Taiyuan University of Technology Station and a short taxi ride. Taiyuan's Metro Line 1 is fantastic, comparable to new lines like Shanghai's Line 14!
Service: The WeChat group service and concierge service were very responsive and accommodating. The afternoon tea pastries were quite good, too, heehee.
”Ultimate Enjoyment” Freshly Ground Coffee: The staff member was very friendly, and I tried a couple of sips of the coffee.
”Pleasant Enjoyment” Double Afternoon Tea: The small pastries were nice, and they were served with Pu-erh tea.

GGuest UserVery cost-effective hotel, next to Taiyuan City Library, Shanxi Natural Museum Geology Museum and Shanxi Provincial Museum, opposite the Luohe River, the location is excellent. The service is also very received. There are a wide variety of Chinese and Western food for breakfast. Every day, freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juice is particularly good. In the evening, there are also supper. There are two kinds of porridge and several kinds of snacks and pickles plus small noodles. The lobby can also make a variety of coffee for free. Emotional value is provided in place. The gym is not too big but can meet basic fitness needs. There are roller yoga bricks and yoga mats in the rooms, and the details are full. The most satisfying thing is to upgrade the room for free, the space and landscape have been improved, the key price is not expensive, check out and send a souvenir, you must give a five-star, and you will still live in Atours in the future.

GGuest UserCould not fault this place. We had booked a bigger room, but it was on the main street, so decided not to take the risk. A slight downgrade was organised swiftly. Room very comfortable, with a nice big bathroom. A well equipped gym where I seemed to be the only user. Breakfast passable with toast, fruits, cereal, coffee and baked goods. We extended our stay to 4 nights. The service at the front desk, room servicing, breakfast was exemplary. The room maid left me a lovely book marker as she saw my lonely planet. (btw, LP mentions a restaurant at the start of the bu xing jie; I wouldn't bother).Hotel is 1km west of Tiyuguan metro station on line 2. Line 1 yet to open. Two stations north brings you 400m from Bell Tower Street, a bu xing jie where there are heaps of great eating places. One station north of Tiyuguan, then east as far as possible gets you to the old Taiyuan train station. Buses 308 or 804 (slow trip) gets you to JinCi Si; well worth the trip even just to see a 3,000yo tree

AAnonymous UserI stayed at Wutong Apartment Hotel for a business trip, and overall, it was a very pleasant experience. The room was clean and cozy, and the facilities were well-equipped. The cleaning staff were also very welcoming. What's particularly worth recommending is their breakfast, which truly lives up to its reputation as a 'breakfast ceiling' online. Having traveled to many cities, I can confidently say their breakfast surpasses the standards of five-star hotels in first-tier cities. The quality of the steak and salmon, as well as the cooking, were excellent. Various Chinese stir-fries tasted as good as those ordered à la carte in restaurants, and there was a wide array of local delicacies. The lamb soup with aged tofu was a perfect combination. And the desserts, oh the desserts, were outstanding! The ingredients were high-quality, and both their appearance and taste were superb – highly recommended. The only minor drawback was the average service. The rather short restaurant manager had an incredibly loud voice, like a lady shouting in a wet market, constantly directing staff loudly, which unfortunately lowered the hotel's overall ambiance. Despite that, it's still highly recommended overall!

LLongzaijianghu2288I booked this hotel in advance for our May Day holiday trip to Taiyuan. It's an established five-star hotel, and both the facilities and service are top-notch. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. It's super convenient to get to, right outside Exit A2 of Changfeng Street Station on Metro Line 2. Plus, it's next to Tianmei Xintiandi, a bustling commercial area, and taxis are always easy to find. We visited Zhonglou Street, Liuxiang, Jinci Temple, Tianlong Mountain, and the Shanxi Museum, and honestly, there's nothing to complain about except that some of the furniture feels a bit dated compared to newer hotels. Otherwise, it offers great value for money. I'll definitely stay at Kempinski again next time I'm in Taiyuan.

AAnonymous UserSuper satisfied with a Taiyuan stay experience! Just after getting off the plane, there was a hotel car pick-up, and the next day we returned to Taiyuan South Station. We didn't have to worry about traffic. The driver's master was thoughtful and punctual, which was too worry-free. Super surprise when checking in, we directly upgraded the room, the front desk lady is more careful and warm, take the initiative to help the ID card cover protection cover, see that we have a lot of luggage and also intimate help, the details are all gentle.
The room environment is particularly good, the whole house is very convenient for intelligent control, it is very warm to live in in winter, the bed is soft and comfortable, and the sleep is particularly fragrant. The hotel also prepared drinks such as Coke, Sprite and good quality mineral water. There is no need to buy extra, so intimate! The overall experience is full, and I will definitely choose this one next time I come to Taiyuan!
