"The service was incredibly warm and friendly. The breakfast was delicious (though not ideal if you're a big meat-eater, as there wasn't much meat), and for our two-night stay, the hot dishes were never repeated. Plus, you get a great ocean view from the restaurant seating. The hotel is located in Cijin. We took the ferry from Hamasen MRT (light rail) station to Cijin, walked through the old street to the hotel. There's a FamilyMart and 7-Eleven nearby, so you don't have to worry about going hungry. The beach is just a five-minute walk away, and they even provide buckets and shovels for playing in the sand. Just a quick note: there are two ferry routes to Cijin – one from Gushan Ferry Terminal (NT$30) and another from Pier-2 Art Center (NT$80). The ferries from Gushan, though a bit older, are much more frequent (less than a 10-minute wait between boats, and I'm not sure about off-peak times) and run for much longer hours (I heard from 5 AM to 2 AM). The hotel room was quite spacious but a bit dated (my only complaint), though it was very clean."

"Location is excellent as its near all tourist places, even though the place is quiet and nice to stay. We also got free bicycle renting to explore things around there too, this is not note in hotel facility, but hotel has got it. My mom needs to sit on wheelchair, but the place is quite convenient to her to get service in hotel. The room is clean, bed is great, toilet equipped with warm seat as well. I like the soap and shampoo at hotel, smell is so nice. At the guest lobby my kid is happy with snack, drink that provided, also i can have coffee at all the time from there as well.. i think we made right decision that we stayed here for 2 nights, the time was great there. thanks for good service."

"The harbor views are absolutely breathtaking, and breakfast is health-conscious and nourishing, perfect for relaxing and taking stunning photos. However, the room only provided two miniature bottles of water, and there's no water dispenser, so tea enthusiasts will be left parched 🥲. You have to pay extra for toothbrushes and toothpaste. The 10 CNY set was a terrible purchase; the toothpaste was so dry, it felt like it had been sealed for an eternity. At 10:40 AM, there was a 'friendly' reminder about extending our stay, then at 11:00 AM sharp, the power was cut, feeling like a timed mission in an RPG ⚡. "Check-in and check-out were very smooth, with the front desk staff being friendly and efficient. There's a coffee corner on the first floor, but to my dismay, when I wanted a drink in the morning, there were no coffee beans at all! It was there, but unusable. On the other hand, there are water dispensers on each floor, which is very convenient for refilling water. The water pressure in the room's shower was excellent, making for a very comfortable shower experience. (Though, for some reason, the water pressure at the sink was really weak...) However, the blackout curtains in the room have a serious design flaw. They don't fully block out the sunlight, leaving significant gaps on both sides. Around 6 AM, intense light streams directly onto the pillow and headboard, making it impossible to go back to sleep. My sleep quality was severely affected for several consecutive days, which greatly diminished an otherwise good stay. I suggest the hotel install more effective blackout curtains (they really need to completely cover the window without any gaps) to ensure guests can enjoy a good resting environment, even at dawn."

"The location is very convenient, as it is very close to the MRT, making it easy to travel around The room was spacious, clean, and well equipped with amenities such as a hair dryer, towels, soap, and shampoo, which made the stay very comfortable We were also pleasantly surprised to find a large onsen style bathtub in the bathroom, which made the stay even more relaxing However, guests need to bring their own toothpaste and toothbrush. The staff were very friendly and helpful, which made the experience even better🫰🏻❤️"

"Hygiene: The toilet had a backflow odor. Closing the toilet door and turning on the exhaust fan didn't help (though the fan made noise). The layout was strange; the shoe rack and disposable slippers were in the innermost wardrobe, not by the entrance. The water dispenser filter might not have been changed on time, as the water from it had a taste. The water pressure was excellent. The lobby's air conditioning was stronger than in the room."

"Overall, the ambiance and feel were very good. The breakfast buffet layout could use a slight adjustment. Currently, the flow for getting food often leads to people bumping into each other and bottlenecks. I personally think it would be great if the restaurant was fully open. Both my three-day stay this time and my previous visit saw the main dining area completely full before the other section was opened, leading to a crowded main area and chaotic, unorganized food retrieval. Just my personal thoughts and humble opinion. Thank you."

"The location is simply excellent. It is super close to the Pier-2 Art Center, so you can just walk out and immediately start taking nice photos and enjoying the sea breeze. Getting around is also a breeze with the nearby public transport. The room condition was great—very clean, cozy, and provided a really good night's sleep. Honestly, we were very satisfied with everything here. Super highly recommended for tourists!"

"Great location, 2 minutes walk away from the pier 2. The culture shops in warehouses are 1 minutes away. It is also right next to the international music center with beautiful architecture, as well as a park around. Light rails and bus stops are also close by. Great trail along the water way. The rotating bridge, the longest in Aisa rotates every day 3pm SHARP, is right in sight. Plenty restaurants and shops on the other side of the water way across the bridge. Many noodle shops (at least 3) as well as convenient stores are within walking distance. The hotel room is relatively small, but cozy. It is clean and has good layout inside. The room has a good view of the street. The hotel staff are also friendly, quite accessible and helpful, with one exception when one of the days it ran out of tooth paste, which is unreasonably expensive if you had to buy one in OK shop right next to the hotel. The hotel provides a coffee machine with free ground coffee, very convenient if you want to grab a cup of Americano or cappocciino in the morning right out of the bed. The hotel also provides laundry facilities in the basement with a washer and a dryer, even though the capacity is way over the amount of worn clothes in several days. Had wished the hotel had a simple gym, well, I guess I have to do without this time. Overall it has been a good staying experience."

"The Hsiang-Chi Hotel (驳二旅馆) boasts an excellent location, just a convenient 5-minute walk from Yanchengpu MRT Station exits 1 and 4. Turning left from the hotel entrance brings you to the Pier-2 Art Center and attractions near Dagang Bridge. You can also catch the light rail to Hamasen or take a ferry to Cijin Island for some sightseeing. Nearby, you'll find conveniences like Cosmed, Watsons, 7-Eleven, and a variety of international restaurants. On level B1, there's a game room and a laundry room; washing machines are free to use, but the dryer costs about 50 NTD for 45 minutes. The 2nd-floor common area offers popcorn and complimentary tea and coffee starting at 3 PM, and you can even order takeout to enjoy there. Breakfast is delicious, with a different selection of dishes rotated daily."
