Hotels near Cijin Wind Turbine Park, Kaohsiung

"The service was incredibly warm and friendly. The breakfast was delicious (though not ideal if you're a big meat-eater, as there wasn't much meat), and for our two-night stay, the hot dishes were never repeated. Plus, you get a great ocean view from the restaurant seating. The hotel is located in Cijin. We took the ferry from Hamasen MRT (light rail) station to Cijin, walked through the old street to the hotel. There's a FamilyMart and 7-Eleven nearby, so you don't have to worry about going hungry. The beach is just a five-minute walk away, and they even provide buckets and shovels for playing in the sand. Just a quick note: there are two ferry routes to Cijin – one from Gushan Ferry Terminal (NT$30) and another from Pier-2 Art Center (NT$80). The ferries from Gushan, though a bit older, are much more frequent (less than a 10-minute wait between boats, and I'm not sure about off-peak times) and run for much longer hours (I heard from 5 AM to 2 AM). The hotel room was quite spacious but a bit dated (my only complaint), though it was very clean."

"The room was spacious and clean, and opening the curtains revealed an unbeatable sea view – perfect for enjoying the scenery. The owner was incredibly helpful, providing us with all sorts of information about Kaohsiung and anything else we wanted to know. So kind! A truly perfect experience."

"The location is super convenient, right next to Kaohsiung Main Station, making it quick to get anywhere by metro, including Kaohsiung Arena and Liuhe Night Market, which are both nearby. We really loved the style of the hotel room; it had a nice European feel. The only minor drawback was that it was a bit dim in front of the bathroom mirror, which made putting on makeup a bit tricky, but overall, it felt amazing and super comfortable! For breakfast, in addition to the usual chicken, pork, and fish, there were also ********* options like egg pancakes, turnip cake, oyster omelets, soup dumplings, and teppanyaki noodles. Perhaps because we stayed for quite a while (five nights), the chef prepared special menus for us on the last two days, making steak and tiger prawn pasta, which was absolutely delicious. In the afternoon, there were also various light bites and drinks to enjoy, including special blended juices and even cheese foam tea. Most importantly, all the staff members were incredibly friendly and helpful! If I visit Kaohsiung again, I would definitely choose this hotel without hesitation!"

"The hotel is very close to Linya metro, come out from exit 1. You will see a mos burger before the hotel. Behind the hotel area is the street food with varieties. Amenities are not provided due to government go green policy."

"A very standard budget hotel. The room is spacious, and the bathroom is large with no issues with hot water. Slippers and toiletries are provided. The air conditioning works well. The location isn't far from Central Park, Formosa Boulevard, and a nearby MRT station."

"I chose this hotel based on online reviews, and it definitely didn't disappoint! From the front desk staff's service to the room's comfort, everything was excellent. I'll prioritize staying here again the next time I visit Kaohsiung."

"I was very satisfied with this hotel. Its location near Kaohsiung's bustling Formosa Boulevard MRT station is excellent, with plenty of shops and businesses nearby, plus a large grocery store just across the street. The hotel's service truly felt five-star. While there isn't a grand lobby, the practical amenities, like the outdoor swimming pool, were fantastic. The breakfast was also great, and they even had ice cream!"

"1. The hotel boasts an excellent location, just a 5-minute walk from Kaohsiung Main Station. It's also a 5-minute walk to Exit 10 of Formosa Boulevard Station, though this exit doesn't have an elevator, so it's not recommended if you have large luggage. 2. The hotel provides a variety of snacks and drinks, all available for free. 3. I originally booked a queen room, but the hotel upgraded me to a room with two queen beds free of charge, which I appreciate. 4. The self-service laundry room is on the 3rd floor and requires a 10 NTD coin. 5. I arrived at the hotel at 1 PM on a rainy afternoon and was informed that check-in was at 3 PM. Oh well, I left my luggage and headed out with an umbrella to find something to eat. 6. The bathroom's wet and dry separation design is excellent. However, the shower door isn't sealed, so water tends to leak out."

"We enjoyed our stay and were honoured to be invited by the hotel to celebrate the New Year Eve Party with a complimentary dinner at the Wok Restaurant on Level 2 and a count down and welcome 2026 party with free flow drinks at the Rooftop Bar. We watched the fireworks at the stroke of midnight from the Bar with great music, beautiful view and lovely guests! It was a fantastic end to 2025 and the memories will stay in us forever! Thank you Hotel Indigo Kaoshiung for the wonderful and memorable stay. Everything from the hotel staff to the room amenities were top notch! We will certainly recommend your hotel and will definitely stay here when we visit Kaoshiung again."

"The hotel location is unbeatable - it is located right beside the Love River with beautiful and relax view. There is a 7-11 is right next to the hotel which makes my stay easier. I enjoy the hotel overall, however there is an odd smell when I stepped right into the lobby and the smell remained constantly during my entire stay. Luckily the room smells fresh. I like the hotel and highly recommend to others and will come back if I visit KH again."
