The hotel is conveniently located, about a 10-minute drive from Songshan Lake. It's a large property with a KTV, restaurant, and a spacious parking lot. The hotel itself is well-equipped with a swimming pool, spa, go-karts, and an amusement park, making it ideal for families.
The rooms are quite spacious at 40 sqm and even include a sauna. I had trouble getting it to work, so I called a staff member to assist. The power outlets were a bit loose and couldn't hold plugs securely. I was told the mini-fridge isn't a cooler. They did provide some simple complimentary fruit.
The breakfast buffet offered a good variety of dishes, tasted nice, and was refilled quickly. Plates were also cleared efficiently.
The backyard features a campsite, amusement park, and go-karts, while there's a swimming pool at the top of the hill, making it a great place to bring kids.

From taking pictures of cockroaches in the room at the front desk to checking out, I only had one sentence to respond and arranged for the guest room aunt to come clean! Until I checked out, there was no mention, not even a word of apology! I have not argued with anyone in the hotel. If the hotel itself handles the problem this way, there is no need for me to waste time looking for an explanation from you. I would also like to know if you report cockroaches crawling on your legs to other hotels in the future, and report this to the hotel, how will you react? Will you leave as quietly as I do?

This hotel boasts an excellent location with convenient parking for those driving. The room facilities are great, the service is top-notch, and the breakfast offers a good variety. Before check-in, the front desk proactively informed guests about nearby facility maintenance that might cause noise during certain periods and even provided earplugs. When an issue was raised, the customer service manager promptly came to inquire and offered to change our room, which I really appreciate. 👍 It would be perfect if the nearby government construction could finish soon so there's no more noise.

Miss Xie at the front desk was very thoughtful and upgraded my room. The executive suite was a bit too big; I felt like I'd get lost staying there alone! Parking was free once I registered my car. The room was very clean and the decor was quite new. The TV was a Samsung, but maybe there were copyright issues? I couldn't cast directly. I had to call staff to come and set up a casting device. Other than that, everything was great.

Good to have washing machine inside the apartment but extremely limited kitchen utensils. Helpful and friendly staff with good gym facilities. Breakfast is so so though.

An absolutely perfect experience that far exceeded my expectations. Five-star recommendation! I came to the hotel solo for some serious gaming. I was so satisfied with my first night that I decided to extend my stay for a second day. Absolutely no issues with the internet speed. The room was spacious and bright, and the bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable. The shower in the bathroom had fantastic water pressure, absolutely no complaints there. The room also featured floor-to-ceiling windows. There's a convenience store right downstairs. The hotel even has robots, which made getting takeout incredibly convenient. The front desk and housekeeping staff were polite and patiently resolved any issues. Check-in was also very quick. An impeccable stay experience; the environment, hygiene, and service all demonstrated exceptional care and thoughtfulness. I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.

The hotel room is quite big. When I entered the hotel to check in, the waiters were very friendly. I went to the elevator quickly. There was an access card. It was a very safe hotel. The price/performance ratio was also very high. It was worth staying. Then I ordered a takeaway. There was a robot delivering the food, which was quite good. There was also a gym.

I specifically booked this room for my daughter's music festival. It's just across the road from the Songshan Lake Scenic Area Tourist Center, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Since the hotel is pet-friendly, I brought my dog along. Overall, I recommend it.

Great location with plenty of food options and walking distance to major shopping mall nearby.
Would like to take this opportunity to compliment on the friendly front desk staff who are flexible on early check in and late check out with reasonable extension fees due to my flight schedule. The staff would always come forth to offer us bottled drinks and hot tea when we were sitting in the lobby awaiting cab arrival.
The rooms are newly renovated and clean, with smart room controls and tv mirroring and smart toilet functions. Overall, a highly recommended value for money hotel.

GGuest UserThis is my second time staying at Kande Hotel. I typically stay for about 14 days each trip, so I have had plenty of time to really settle in and appreciate the experience.
The location is incredibly convenient, right in the heart of Dongguan and close to everything you might need. What surprised me, though, is how quiet the rooms are despite being in the city center. There is no traffic noise or street disturbance, which makes a real difference when you are traveling for work and need to rest.
The staff are excellent. They are friendly and professional, but what stands out is that they actually remember my preferences from my previous stay. Those small touches go a long way when you are there for an extended period. I also appreciate the pillow menu. I personally cannot sleep without a memory foam pillow, so having that option is a real plus.
They also have a robot delivery service for food and parcels. It sounds like a small thing, but it is surprisingly convenient and adds a nice modern touch.
The view from the room is beautiful, and breakfast is another highlight. There is always a good variety, but my go to is the 烧鹅濑粉. It is honestly the best I have ever had.
Looking forward to my next stay.

The front office staff are very helpful and will go all out to assist you. They gave useful advice on places to visit and good restaurants to go for meals.

CCathrin. GI had an amazing stay at Ji hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Songsan area. The environment is exceptionally clean and well maintained, which made the entire stay feel comfortable and relaxing. The hotel features a modern and stylish design, with beautiful interiors that give a very luxurious and contemporary atmosphere.
The room was very spacious and thoughtfully designed, providing plenty of comfort and space to relax after a long day. Everything felt new and well organized, which added to the overall premium experience.
One of the best things about this hotel is its excellent location. It is very convenient to travel anywhere in the city, with many attractions easily accessible nearby. There is also a large shopping mall directly beside the hotel, making it incredibly convenient for shopping, dining, and entertainment without needing to travel far. The traffic at this area quite heavy and a lots of cars sound their horn that could be disturbing, however I didn’t experience the noise pollution after late night hence it is acceptable to me.
Their breakfast start from 7am-10am and plenty of choices even though only Chinese style is served. Hopefully their coffee machine is working in the future, as an overseas traveller, coffee is part of our basic need.
One thing I wish to special highlight is about the free laundry, you can view the available machine slots from your room (open the TV and you can see the info). Super convenient! You don’t have to walk all the way to the laundry area to check by yourself.
I would definitely give this hotel a full 5-star rating and look forward to staying here again in the future.

The biggest strength of this hotel is its unbeatable location. You’re steps away from McDonald's and Luckin Coffee for quick bites and caffeine. A well-stocked mall is right beside the hotel, making it super easy to grab daily necessities. The best part? A lively night market is directly opposite the hotel! This makes finding delicious, affordable local food incredibly convenient any time of the evening. The whole area is very 热闹 (rènào - bustling/energetic) – perfect if you want to be in the heart of the action.
Cleanliness: 3/5 – Okay for the Price, Manage Expectations
The general cleanliness is acceptable, if you adjust your expectations. It's definitely not a 5-star luxury experience, but for a budget/mid-range stay, it's passable and reasonably maintained. Don't expect immaculate perfection, but the basics are covered.
Room & Atmosphere: 2/5 – Persistent Smoke Smell
The major downside, especially in the rooms and hallways, is a strong and pervasive smoke smell. It's quite noticeable and doesn't dissipate easily. Unfortunately, this seems to be a common issue in many hotels within the region, but it's definitely present and unpleasant here if you're sensitive to it.
Breakfast: 1/5 – Strongly Not Recommended / Unhygienic
Avoid the breakfast option. Hygiene standards here are very poor. I personally observed small cockroaches crawling on the tables in the breakfast area. This is completely unacceptable and a major health red flag. Do yourself a favor and skip it entirely. Thankfully, with McDonald's, Luckin, the mall food court, and the fantastic night market opposite, you have plenty of much better (and cleaner) alternatives nearby.
Overall:
This hotel is all about the location, location, location. If being in a super convenient, vibrant area with easy access to food, coffee, and shopping is your top priority, and you're on a budget, it serves that purpose. The cleanliness is tolerable for the category. However, the strong smoke smell in the rooms and corridors is a significant drawback, and the breakfast is dangerously unhygienic (cockroach sighting confirmed). Choose this hotel for the prime spot if you can tolerate the smoke and definitely plan to eat breakfast elsewhere.

When checking in, a female supervisor-like person walked past me and, right in front of me, told the front desk staff not to process any more check-ins after mine. I mean, am I not a guest? During the check-in process, there was complimentary lemon water nearby, but no disposable cups. My mom asked if there were any cups, and the supervisor curtly replied that they were all used up. I gave her a look, and then very quickly, a server brought a whole stack of paper cups. I really don't know where they hired this 'service supervisor.' Please train your staff properly. This hotel is even worse than other Atour hotels. We didn't interact much after check-in, but those ten minutes of checking in left a very bad impression.

GGuest UserThe lobby and hotel entrance are quite small. We got stuck in traffic in the adjacent mall for a long time before getting in, not sure if that's typical. There was a staff member standing outside the hotel door, who just stood there and watched us the whole time, didn't offer to help with luggage (not sure what their purpose was then). The hotel doesn't have robots, and food deliveries are left outside with no one bringing them up (you have to call the front desk, which I, as an introvert, really dislike). The room was decent. The breakfast, however, was truly awful. It's rare to find a place where every single dish is bad. My husband's noodles were undercooked, and the pork liver and preserved egg congee had absolutely no flavor. When I asked the congee lady for salt and pepper, she said they didn't have any... For over 800 a night, an InterContinental isn't expensive, but the service definitely doesn't match the price.

I especially appreciated the daily housekeeping service, which kept the room clean and fresh throughout my visit. The room itself was quite spacious, even though I booked one of the more budget-friendly options, which was a pleasant surprise.
One area that could be improved is the lighting control in the room. There is no central switch to dim or turn off the lights, so I had to walk around the room to switch off different lights before going to sleep. Additionally, the bathroom layout separates the toilet from the shower area, requiring a few steps to move between them.
The hotel provides clothes washing services but it’s chargeable and the price is on high side. One piece of normal ladies pant cost RMB50, male pant cost RMB45. If you give the clothes the housekeeping staff before 11am, they will send the clothes back to your room within the same day.
Pullman Hotel also offers several in-house dining options, including Chinese and Japanese-style restaurants within the premises, which made dining very convenient. If you order food delivery , they have the robot machine to send your food to the room, just make sure you indicated the room number clearly. The lift required a room card to access hence the dispatcher will not be able to send the food to your room.
Hotel staff is helpful, I requested them to collect the parcel on my behalf from the locker located at basement and they acting it very fast. Keeping them for me even though the check in date was a week later.
Overall, it was still a very pleasant and comfortable stay at Pullma.

GGuest UserThe environment is quiet and serene, with a subtle Chinese garden style. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped (it would be even better if they provided two pairs of slippers for showering). Kids enjoyed playing in the water, while adults worked out and hiked.
The service was a bit lacking, though. The service robot was slow to respond, and we had to chase down staff multiple times for assistance, likely due to understaffing.
During the May Day holiday, check-in was really slow; we didn't get our room key until after 6:30 PM. Thankfully, the manager was flexible and arranged for the kids to go swimming first, and even gave us some drink vouchers (for a Coke, Sprite, or instant coffee) for those who weren't swimming.

AAkabaka848The hotel's location is great, close to the business district, and it's well-renovated with a good price. You can tell it's recently refurbished as soon as you enter; it's very clean, and the hygiene standards are met. However, some room equipment is a bit old; it seems only the surface was renovated, not the internal wiring and devices. There are no power outlets by the bed, so I had to charge my phone under the desk. Also, the air conditioning isn't very effective, and the controls are surprisingly old-fashioned rotary knobs from twenty years ago, with yellowed plastic. I've stayed at the Huilihua next door, and they have digital control panels. It's really rare to see an AC unit with traditional rotary switches these days.
That said, the hygiene is genuinely good, and the restaurants downstairs are decent, so overall, it was a good experience.
Welcome fruit: It was mentioned, but I couldn't find it and forgot about it by the time I left.
