"The room was super comfortable, and for a hostel, having a dedicated area for blow-drying hair and doing laundry was great – no disturbing roommates! The front desk staff were also very enthusiastic. It's located in Sham Shui Po, so shopping and eating out are really convenient. You can even hike up the mountain behind the hostel at night to get a panoramic view of the city lights."

"Stayed 10 nights absolutely super location, service, cleanliness & great value. Tasty & varied breakfast, lots of extras such as Shuttle Bus, drinks & sweets but best of all a free wine hour every day 6-7 o'clock. "Location was good, 10 min walk from Sham Shui Po station. Pleasantly surprised with the room, it was modern and spacious for Hong Kong. Water pressure in the shower was good and hot water was always available. Would have preferred if they gave more Shampoo and body soap, on the photos it looked like each room was given a large bottle but in reality, we only got sachets of shampoo and body soap that were not replenished. I really liked that there was a free washing machine service on the roof (just need to bring your own washing powder). Would definitely stay again if I visit Hong Kong!"

"The room was surprisingly comfortable for sleeping, even better than the more expensive hotel I stayed at in Shenzhen the next day. I'm not sure if it was the design or something else. The next day, cycling to my friend's place in Sha Tin was incredibly convenient. I can't help but give it a good review."

"The location is excellent! The airport bus goes directly to the hotel, and there are many restaurants nearby. It's just a 2-minute walk to Prince Edward MTR station, making it convenient to get to Mong Kok and Yau Ma Tei by foot, MTR, or bus. However, the hotel facilities are very old. The carpet looks like it's seen better days, probably hasn't been cleaned in over a decade. The hotel hosts a lot of tour groups, and the soundproofing in the rooms is poor. They do provide free earplugs, so if you're sensitive to noise, you might want to look elsewhere. I guess you get what you pay for, considering the cheap price and great location."

"The owner is very welcoming and friendly, providing excellent service. The location is super convenient with a minimarket and bus stop nearby, making it easy to get to the border and the airport. There's even a night bus to the airport, which is quick and handy. This street is really lively and convenient, and the subway station is just around the corner."

"Mong Kok's travel ceiling! Royal Plaza Hotel made my entire Hong Kong trip comfortable and healing. I stayed at the Royal Plaza Hotel throughout my self-guided trip to Hong Kong, and the overall experience far exceeded my expectations. I simply must write a detailed review. The room was cleaned daily by dedicated staff, with impeccable hygiene control. The entire room was spotless, clean, and comfortable. The butler service was highly responsive and efficient; when I needed cutlery, it was delivered to the room instantly, which was very thoughtful. Every evening, I like to relax with a bath. The bathtub was clean and odorless. After a tiring day of travel, a hot bath washed away all the fatigue. Downstairs, there's direct access to Mui Wah Bing Tang, offering authentic Hong Kong-style food readily available and delicious, making dining out extremely convenient. What surprised me most was the location: the hotel is seamlessly connected to Grand Century Place, and Mong Kok East Station is right outside. Taking the MTR to major popular spots like Ocean Park, Disneyland, Central, Tsim Sha Tsui, and Causeway Bay was a breeze, with no need to worry about transportation. In Hong Kong, where space is at a premium, the rooms are spacious and wide, providing maximum comfort, suitable for both family trips and solo travelers. Two small, heartwarming suggestions for the hotel's improvement: Currently, the cutlery and bowls provided are a bit small. It was slightly inconvenient when I occasionally cooked Samyang Buldak noodles at night. If larger instant noodle bowls could be added, it would better cater to the needs of young guests. Also, if a stainless steel caddy could be installed on the bathtub, allowing for a glass of wine, aromatherapy, or a book while bathing, the ambiance and experience would be even better. Overall, it's impeccable. Hardware, service, and location are all top-notch. I will prioritize choosing this hotel again for my next trip to Hong Kong. I sincerely recommend it to all visitors to Hong Kong!"
