The hotel is right on Shuidong Street. During the day, you can enjoy tea in your room with the sunshine. It's quite convenient for getting around, though the showerhead in the room wasn't great. The hotel helped us choose a relatively quiet room, and by the latter half of the night, it was peaceful.

I always choose this hotel for business trips. The location and transportation are excellent, making commuting and getting things done incredibly convenient. The rooms are clean and tidy, with simple but sufficient facilities, and the soundproofing is decent. The price is affordable, offering great value for money, and the service attitude is quite gentle. It doesn't have any fancy extras, focusing on practicality and ease of use, making it my top choice for business travel.

We were very happy with our stay of 9 nights here. The hotel was a little bit old but everything worked. There is an abundance of restaurants, malls, cafes and little shops just outside the door. West Lake is about a 10 minute walk away. There is a nice river about 5 minutes walking distance.
The room was spacious and bright, with good ventilation and plenty of natural light. The furniture was brand new and spotless, and the lighting was soft and not at all harsh, making the whole place feel incredibly comfortable.

Great location near the lake and about 20minutes from Shuidong Street where there are bars, street food and restaurants.
Good service if you request they let you check out later than 12pm. I tried to use the phone in the room but i didn't work so i just checked out at 12 and explored other areas of the lake.
Shower very hot (some hotels only run on ”warm” water. Toothbrush, toothpaste, shower gel and shampoo all provided.
From experience they speak Cantonese and mandarin - not sure about English.
Don't forgot to request a room with a lake view, I forgot!
I don't think they provide breakfast or other facilities - at least I didn't use them if there was any.

This is the only officially rated 5-star hotel in Huizhou! It's been around for 21 years now (according to the staff) and is right by West Lake, making it super convenient for evening strolls and boat trips to see the lights. This time, I stayed in a river-view room and got to see Huizhou's Dongjiang River – the view was expansive and captivating! The butlers were also very professional and enthusiastic, personally giving me a hotel-curated travel guide, which was a really thoughtful touch. Although the room showed its age, it was very well-maintained. Every evening, they even provided sleep-inducing milk! The hotel is also very close to Shuidong Street and Hejiang Tower, about a 15-minute walk. While the hotel is in the old town, the old town itself offers a more authentic city experience!

Our hotel is close to popular attractions including West Lake, the historic Shuidong Street, traditional ancient lanes such as Zhuwu Alley and Jindai Alley, as well as Binjiang Park.
It takes about 10–15 minutes’ walk along the lake to reach the main entrance of West Lake, and only around 5 minutes on foot to Binjiang Park.
Don’t miss the stunning night scenery of Huizhou’s “One Lake, Two Rivers”.
The hotel is surrounded by a wide range of dining, shopping and entertainment options for your convenience.

It's a budget hotel near West Lake (Xihu) catering for lots of local Chinese tourists. We were allocated a quiet room and we had a peaceful and good sleep for two nights. We visited two major attractions: Shui Dong Street and Xihu lake. Since it was CNY holiday in China, there were so many people and the roads were packed with cars.
The front desk ladies are very welcoming, friendly, helpful and always ready to help. Their service is tip top and perfectly efficient. We also met one young guy at the counter who is equally efficient. Thank you very much for your kind service.
The room is well-equipped. Rubber slippers are only provided by request. The towels are all santised and clean.
Right opposite the hotel is the morning market and just a little walk into the middle of the market you could find a small shop selling delicious wantons and shui jiao (dumplings).
The hotel is reachable by public buses#15 plus others and will stop at NanTan 南坛Bus Stop, just 50m away from the hotel.

As expected of an old-brand star hotel, the decoration style is classic, the facilities are relatively complete, and the cost performance is very high. The hotel's history can be seen from the facilities in the room. The lobby is bright, there are many rooms, there are many takeaways coming in and out, and there are many restaurants nearby. The pictures are Little Thai Elephant and Yong'an Hakka King. The roasted pork neck is delicious, and the stuffed tofu is more authentic. It is not far from West Lake and Shuidong Street, but it is difficult to park there. It is recommended to walk there. . The underground parking lot of the hotel is not very regular, but the location is okay. I have not eaten at the restaurants on the first and second floors of the hotel, so I will not comment on them. The room layout and furnishings are good, with glass tables and sofas.
The following are the shortcomings I feel: There is only one washing machine in the self-service laundry room of such a large hotel. The glass door of the shower room is not closed tightly, and water will seep from the bottom to the floor of the sink outside. When walking barefoot on the carpet, I was pierced by a small wood chip. This should be paid attention to, which may affect the safety of the customer's feet. There are nails on the wall behind the telephone table that have not been handled properly, which may pierce your fingers.

The treasure hotel in the old town, the garden room type is very comfortable, open the balcony door to feel particularly bright and comfortable. I came to Huizhou temporarily to set the hotel. I was afraid of stepping on thunder at first. The result was much better than overdue. It was a ten-minute walk to Hejiang Tower and Shuidong Street. Breakfast is the next floor front desk report room number to receive, is a package, but the taste and nutrition are good.

GGuest UserService: Not entirely satisfied. Some hotel staff weren't very enthusiastic and seemed indifferent when asked questions. It didn't meet the service standards expected of a five-star hotel.
Facilities: Good. Both the indoor and outdoor pools looked nice, but they aren't heated, so you can't swim in winter. The hot spring was quite good; I recommend going in the morning when it's less crowded and the water is cleaner.
Highlights: There was a beautiful firework show every night during the Spring Festival, which was a nice touch.
Suggestions: The hotel staff's service level needs improvement. The indoor pool should be heated, otherwise, the water is too cold for swimming in winter.
LLinyejuanbaiThe environment in the hotel is great and very suitable for relaxation. Listening to the sound of crickets at night is like returning to my hometown when I was a child. It is also very friendly to parents and children. You can swim in the rooftop swimming pool and then take a hot spring bath. There is also a large children's playground. Children like it very much and parents can relax their hands. The hotel room facilities are relatively new, the hygiene is also relatively good, and the service attitude of the staff is also very good.
GGuest UserRandomly picked this hotel for my trip and was blown away! The soundproofing is incredibly good, and they even offer local snacks for breakfast. The front desk was so helpful with car rental – a total lifesaver for families with kids! The hallways are super quiet, and we had an amazing ocean view room. The beach is right downstairs, it's just perfect! We were so touched by the hotel's warmth when it rained. The staff proactively helped with our luggage, and the room was super clean with a great wet/dry separation. A good night's sleep here truly rejuvenates you!

First of all, I was amazed at the fact we were welcomed and checked in long before 2 pm, as soon as we arrived at noon.
Next great thing was that the receptionist helped us to swipe rooms, as we booked one king size bed but for the family of four it was a bit inconvenient, so in a matter of 10 minutes we got a spacious room with 2 wide beds. So the night sleep was unmatched.
The location- from the first glance - looked a bit weird, coz actually the hotel is the part of the bigger residential area, although multi-stored houses are still in the stage of development and not fully inhabited. But, on the second day, when we explored the whole area we found out there were much much worse districts with entirely damaged roads, abandoned structures and left behind businesses. So after that ugly image I changed my initial impression and have to say the hotel is just right for family and perfect rest.
We had a wonderful time while taking baths and even the hot springs square isn’t large we counted no less than 20 bath tubs with great proportion of aromatic and herb additives so you may enjoy the fragrance while bathing.
Meantime you also can sip various herbal tea or water at the bar or have a nap on the hot stone platform.
Cool place for kids too, with the separate pool, mini aqua park, swimming pool for adults was also beautiful though not the right season for swimming.
Nice playground for infants and snooker tables for adults.
We loved the breakfast too, many options including European food and coffee.
Maybe one of the best benefits of choosing this hotel was proximity to the gorgeous mountain park also designed for families with young kids. The zigzag mountain road, the panoramic views and the hiking trail were simply amazing.
Traveling that area means you may try local food which is goose, duck and home raised chickens, river fish and the main local specialty- rice cooked in the bamboo tree. All tasted great.
GGuest UserThe facilities are good, and the view is nice. The shower has great water pressure and hot water. The dinner buffet had a limited selection, but breakfast was more substantial than dinner. We received complimentary fruit upon check-in, and the service was excellent. We were even offered a late check-out. There was also a grab-and-go coffee option at breakfast. The room's carpet cleanliness could be improved, and parking was a bit tight. Parking on level B3 was inconvenient as the elevator doesn't go there.
RRovc. The hotel service is very considerate. The front desk guy also patiently introduced the room to me. He also specially processed a new guest VIP, free breakfast and late check-out, which is great! The hotel service is very considerate. The front desk guy also patiently introduced the room to me. QQufangyangThe Dusit Thani Sandalwood Double Bay Resort has a strong Thai vibe. You can step right out to a private beach from downstairs, which is super convenient for playing in the waves and digging in the sand. The 31st-floor infinity pool is great for photos, and the outdoor children's water park has plenty of facilities, so kids have a blast playing in the sand and water. The hotel also has a huge indoor children's castle park, which kids love so much they don't want to leave. The sea-view rooms offer excellent views, and bathing on the balcony is very relaxing. The service is warm and welcoming, making it a top choice for family holidays.
WWaliehuoyangyaoThe location of Huidong Xianglan Zhishang is truly exceptional, just steps away from the beach. Open the balcony door, and the turquoise waves immediately greet your eyes. In the morning, you can watch the sunrise paint the sea with a golden hue, and in the evening, sit in the courtyard listening to the waves, with even the breeze carrying the gentle scent of sea salt.
The B&B boasts a fresh Mediterranean style, featuring white walls paired with natural wood furniture, creating a simple yet inviting ambiance. Thoughtful details abound; the sea salt scrub and citrus shower gel in the bathroom perfectly complement the coastal vibe. Staying here, it feels as though the invigorating freshness of the ocean has been brought right into your room.
AAnonymous UserFirst off, I arrived at the front desk at 3:50 PM to check in, and the staff member told me I'd have to wait another hour for the room to be cleaned. After I expressed my dissatisfaction, another staff member came over and arranged for my check-in. Secondly, the hotel's elevators aren't zoned for high and low floors. This led to extremely long wait times during peak hours. Most hotels nowadays have separate elevators for different floor ranges. Thirdly, the family room didn't come with any amenities for children, and only provided two bath towels. While I could contact the butler for more, a family room should really be pre-equipped with these items. Lastly, the in-room Wi-Fi was terrible; it often didn't work at all, and I lost connection completely when I went out to the balcony or even just within the room. The outdoor pool and park were decent though, and the view was absolutely perfect.
DDolphin_11Great location and fantastic views. It truly lives up to its billing as a 180-degree sea view suite – you can even watch the sunrise over the ocean 🌄. The master bedroom offers excellent views and is definitely worth the price. The bed was also very comfortable. On the downside, both bathrooms had no doors, which was a bit awkward. Plus, the sofa lacked cushions, making it uncomfortable to sit on. The hotel breakfast was pretty mediocre, and the restaurant had an unpleasant odor.
