Hotels near Jinan Train Station, Jinan

It’s within walking distance to Jinan Railway so it’s a good hotel to consider when you are using HSR - but do note that most HSR will go to Jinan West station which is not so near tourist attractions. I cab almost everywhere from this hotel as Jinan’s road traffic is chaotic, making walking to nearby tourist attractions a bit overwhelming for foreigners. It’s not near the metro station but don’t use metro, as it does not lead you directly to attractions like what other China cities do and you need to figure out the transfers. That said it’s within walking distance (20-30min careful walk dodging all the charging scooters and unfriendly cyclists) to the more decent attractions like their old CBD area which is great for street photography. If I am to choose again I’ll stay nearer to the spring clusters since I’m going to cab everywhere anyway as those area seems more vibrant. In addition this hotel appears to host big groups which make having a peaceful breakfast impossible. When I’m trying to have an early breakfast as early as 7am when breakfast start serving so that I can start my day early, I was shocked to see the entire cafeteria crowded with tourists. I have to delay the breakfast for 40min so that I get a place to eat in peace.

I often pass by this hotel next to the railway station or depart from Jinan Station, but this was my first time staying here. A friend of mine also stayed here for a training period and, as they said, the overall facilities do look a bit old, but it doesn't really affect the stay. The front desk service was, as expected, very nice and friendly! The room had everything I needed, but it definitely felt a bit dated. The soundproofing wasn't great, but luckily my floor wasn't too noisy. Outside the window, you could see the railway area, and I could faintly hear the station announcements. Overall, for the price, it's excellent value for money, and the breakfast was quite extensive~ Being able to go downstairs and directly enter the station to catch a train is incredibly convenient!

The hotel boasts an excellent location, directly connected to Wanda Plaza, making takeout, dining, and shopping incredibly convenient. The price during this period was fantastic, offering exceptional value for money. --- Room Experience ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Upgrade Surprise: The front desk staff were very friendly during check-in and proactively upgraded our room to a deluxe king on the 22nd executive floor. The three floor-to-ceiling windows offered expansive views. - Convenient Location: Our room was close to the elevator, making it easy to get around. - Minor Quibble: The sofa had a curved design, which made it impossible for our child to sleep on. A straight sofa would be more suitable for a family of three. - Air Conditioning: The AC worked well at night but was a bit weaker during the day. --- Breakfast Experience ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - Complimentary Breakfast: Our two-night stay included complimentary breakfast for two. The front desk kindly provided a complimentary breakfast for our child as well (it costs over 60 yuan if purchased separately via Dianping, which is a reasonable price). - Jinan Specialties: The breakfast featured a full array of local snacks, including 'Tianmo' (sweet soup), 'Gangzi You Tiao' (long fried dough sticks), old/tender tofu, tofu pudding with savory sauce, and beef noodles. - East Meets West: A rich selection of standard items such as bread, egg tarts, fruit, yogurt, oatmeal salad, fried eggs, scrambled eggs, and tea eggs were also available. - Verdict: Decent and worth the price. Summary Our family of three had a great stay during the Qingming holiday. The price was satisfactory, the service was friendly, and the facilities were comprehensive. While there were minor details like the curved sofa and slightly weaker daytime AC, these didn't detract from the overall positive experience. The pool, breakfast, and location were highlights. Five-star recommendation, we would choose to stay here again on our next visit to Jinan.

Before check-in, I received a warm welcome call asking about my arrival time and room preferences. They were very accommodating with my requests for a high floor and a quiet, non-smoking room. The check-in process was quick upon arrival, and they even offered delicious tea. Breakfast was a buffet, so everyone could choose what they liked – very satisfied!

The owner was really nice and gave me a free room upgrade, but the environment was just... indescribable. It was a world apart from the pictures online. The floorboards were coming up, and the toilet kept dripping, then started gushing. The owner said the gushing was from someone showering upstairs... but it went back to dripping afterward. There was also a red stain on the sheets. The door didn't have a security chain, which made me feel uneasy. In short, I didn't sleep at all and left after an hour. The good review is solely for the kind owner.

The room at this hotel was exceptionally spacious, around 40 square meters. The place was spotlessly clean, and my child kept exclaiming, 'It's so luxurious!' The front desk staff were very quick and efficient during check-in. This hotel truly made our trip to Jinan a joyful one. The breakfast spread was surprisingly extensive and quite delicious. For a hotel costing just over 200 yuan, it definitely offered a 4-star experience. In a word: fantastic value! We were genuinely reluctant to leave; the value for money is simply incredible. It's a 12-minute walk to the train station, which is a bit far but perfectly acceptable!

All good. Location, service staffs, public transport to sights, cleanliness and amenities. Service staffs at check-in are very nice, helpful and professional. And due to that I decided to stay on for another night. The hotel is located just outside Jinan Railway Station (take south exit 南出口). Super convenient. To visit sights there is a public bus stop just outside the hotel (take right once exit the hotel) within 5 mins walk. Take bus K3 to sights and K51. Room is clean. Housekeeping has done a great job. The room amenities are adequate. They do not sting on items. Is is also easy to look for food once outside the hotel. There is also a Macdonald. Overall, all good and super convenient.
