This was by far the most comfortable and enjoyable stay we had during our trip to Guiyang. The location is super convenient, really close to the airport, and just a stone's throw from Jiaxiu Tower and Qingyun Market, making it easy to explore and find great food. The rooms are spotless, and you can choose between a street-facing room with views of old buildings or a quieter room on the north side. What really stood out was the incredible service; every staff member at the hotel was so warm and friendly. We stayed for three nights during our trip, with one night in Xiuwen in between, so we actually made a point to come back to Banshan Hotel. We had a street-facing room the first night and then a quieter room on the back side for our second stay, which ensured a great night's sleep! I'd highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Guiyang. The two photos below are ones I took of the street view opposite the hotel, but I don't have any photos of the room itself.

The hotel is conveniently located with easy access to transportation, and there are plenty of dining, drinking, and entertainment options nearby. The surrounding scenery is also very beautiful. The hotel itself is clean and well-equipped. Being a new hotel, the environment and hygiene are excellent. They offer a self-service coffee machine, milk, snacks, makeup remover wipes, and steam eye masks. The front desk service is very good, and the room is clean and well-maintained. As a high-rise hotel, the city view is fantastic.

This hotel in Huaguoyuan is absolutely amazing! The design features a lovely natural wood style, beautifully incorporating elements from Guizhou's local Miao and Dong ethnic cultures. I especially loved the butterfly motifs; the staff told me they symbolize blessings. They even gave me a small souvenir when I checked out, which just reinforced how happy I was with my choice. Originally, I booked a different room type, but after an upgrade, I stayed in the 'Shan Muyun' room, which offers breathtaking high-altitude views of the Twin Towers and the 'White House' at night. The view was absolutely spectacular! I honestly felt like I wanted to stay even longer. I highly recommend it!

A hidden gem in the bustling city, this hotel offers incredible value for money! The rooms are no-frills but impeccably clean, which is a huge plus for an older establishment. Everything feels comfortable and well-maintained; even the vintage light switches are convenient and easy to use. The hotel has a parking lot and a large courtyard, so despite being close to the main road, it's surprisingly quiet. The highlight, however, is the exceptionally warm and genuine staff. I went up to do laundry, and the attendant on the 9th floor was incredibly helpful, making me feel truly welcome. The front desk staff were also patient and thorough during check-in, even offering to add me on WeChat to share local tips and answer all my questions. The location is perfect, making it easy to get anywhere. I stayed for two nights and was very satisfied.

I was transferring trains in Guiyang on my way home for Chinese New Year and decided to stay overnight in the city center to try some local cuisine. I highly recommend Shangchengyun Hotel! The environment is great, the rooms are quiet and comfortable, the smart facilities are easy to use, the laundry and drying are very convenient, and the surrounding area is super convenient for dining and transportation. The 005 front desk service was also very attentive! The complimentary tea was also a thoughtful touch. Qingyun Road Pedestrian Street is right next to the hotel, making it very convenient for shopping and trying local snacks.

I highly recommend the Anyuzhou Hotel! The service is excellent and professional, and check-in was smooth and efficient. Any issues I had were resolved promptly and effectively. It's very close to Qianling Mountain Park, with lots of delicious food options nearby, and the monkeys in the park are a lot of fun. The room was spotlessly clean, bright, and airy, with no dust or strange smells, making for a very comfortable and reassuring stay. The housekeeping staff did a fantastic job, tidying everything up neatly and even arranging things according to my specific requests, which was very thoughtful. The hotel's ambiance is elegant and quiet, and the common areas are always well-maintained. A nice touch was them adding me on WeChat to send personalized recommendations. The afternoon tea on the rooftop, especially from the outdoor balcony overlooking the bustling city traffic, creates a wonderfully atmospheric and scenic experience. Highly recommended!

The hotel entrance is right at the entrance of Qingyun Road Pedestrian Street. Once you get your bearings, you can cut through from the convenience store on the other side, which makes the location quite good and very convenient. However, I'm not a fan of hotels that rent several floors in a high-rise building because anyone can go up. While there's a security gate at the front desk, it has nothing to do with the elevators, so what's the point of it?
The room itself was well-equipped and new, but I fault myself for not checking carefully when booking – it had no windows. If that's something you care about, definitely pay attention, as this room type is also quite small. The cleanliness needs improvement; I found small bugs three times, and one even crawled out of the tissue box.
The service was decent; the front desk staff was particularly enthusiastic when I checked in.

This upscale hotel truly lives up to its reputation. While a bit pricier than average, the experience is significantly better. It's safe, comfortable, conveniently located, and the service is incredibly warm. I'll definitely be sticking with this brand for future stays. Plus, the food street downstairs has such a wide variety of snacks that you can't possibly try them all, and it's not far from Qingyun Market, where you can find all sorts of interesting trinkets.

This time I stayed at Gumoni and really dug a treasure! It is completely hidden in the French single-family secret of the city center, and the experience is directly full!
The most poking me is the hotel's outdoor terrace garden. As soon as I walked in, I was cured by the greenery. The lush tropical green plants were matched with beige flower boxes. The red maple and rose walls added a bit of romantic atmosphere. The vine seat under the beige umbrella was made. When the sun is shining, the atmosphere is directly full, and any shot is a holiday blockbuster. There is also a super-stylish retro bar, dark shelf with retro iron decoration, exquisite wine bottles, you can enjoy the sun here during the day, and watch the night view of the city with the wind at night, which is too pleasant.
Health really needs to be praised! The room and all public areas are spotless, even the floor tiles on the terrace and the bar counter are clean, and there is no dust corner. Even the flower walls and green plants corners are neatly maintained, there are no dead yellow branches and leaves, the bathroom toiletries are placed in an orderly manner, and there is no water stains and odor at all. It can be seen that the store is really maintaining every detail with care.
The service was completely out of the question. The front desk lady was super gentle. When checking in, she patiently explained the hotel facilities and surrounding strategies. Any demand response was super fast. There is no excessive interruption throughout, but it can give intimate help when needed. This kind of slack service is really comfortable.
The whole is exquisite and unintentional French single-family vacation feeling, quiet in the middle of noisy, whether it is a small gathering with friends or relaxing by yourself, it is super suitable, I have recommended it to friends around me, and I will stay here next time!

They offer afternoon tea daily and a late-night snack, plus thoughtful little extras like eye masks and earplugs. Since Guizhou is often rainy, they even provide umbrellas for guests. The room has a mini-fridge that's restocked daily with water and drinks, and it's kept sparkling clean. Every day, they proactively ask if we'd like our bedding changed. The smart controls in the room are powered by Xiao Du, and the bathroom has a great wet/dry separation. After a long day of sightseeing, it's lovely to sit by the window, relax, and have some snacks and drinks. The hotel's design is also very artistic. Located in the Huaguoyuan community, it's super convenient for ordering food delivery. We were just transiting through Guiyang, and it was close to our travel connections too. All in all, we had a fantastic stay!

I arrived at the airport after unexpectedly injuring my ankle earlier that day and had no idea how serious it was or what to do next. I booked this hotel last minute, and from the moment I contacted them, everything changed. The team immediately arranged a car to pick me up from the airport, and I was met with such kindness, care, and professionalism that I felt safe right away.
When I arrived, they provided a wheelchair for me and allowed me to keep it overnight. They thoughtfully placed me in a more accessible room, helped with my luggage, and continuously checked in to make sure I had everything I needed. This all happened late at night, yet the level of attention and warmth never wavered.
What truly stood out was how every single staff member treated me. Each time I spoke with someone, they sincerely said to call if I needed anything, and they meant it. It felt like the entire team knew about my situation and was looking out for me. As a first-time traveler in China and an English speaker, I was honestly quite scared, but they went out of their way to make sure I never felt alone or overwhelmed.
At one point, multiple staff members even came up to my room to check on me in person and ask if I needed anything. They made sure I ate and brought me a warm meal, and I can genuinely say those were the most comforting, soul-filling noodles I had during my trip.
In the morning, they kindly offered me a late checkout until 2 p.m., again reminding me to reach out for anything at all. When it was time to leave, they made the process completely seamless. A member of the reception team personally escorted me by golf cart to the airport, helped communicate with airport staff, and ensured I received a wheelchair for my onward journey. I did not have to think or worry about a single step.
This level of care goes far beyond standard hospitality. It reflects a truly exceptional team. Every person I encountered was kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in my wellbeing.
I want to extend my deepest thanks to everyone working that day for taking such incredible care of me. You turned what could have been a very stressful and frightening experience into something warm, safe, and deeply human. This is a world-class team and a shining example of what hospitality should be.
I am so grateful and will absolutely stay with this hotel again. Thank you for everything.

The room type we initially booked didn't have a window, but after discussing it, they upgraded our room. The room came with noise-canceling earplugs and disposable toilet seat covers, which was very thoughtful. It offers great value for money, and I highly recommend it. The location is also very convenient, close to the provincial hospital, making it easy for medical visits.

As a 3 star rated hotel in china, it's on the high end of the scale inside.
as a solo traveller, i am mainly looking at convenience and hygiene. I booked this place for it's proximity to the train station for my early morning flight.
Arriving at the station, it took me 40 minutes to find my way to walk over to the hotel, and would have appreciated more information.
How to get there: Exit the station at the west plaza, on your right somewhere, you will find a path which leads to an underpass to cross the highway. Walk straight into the basement of the commercial building, turn left and then go up the escalators. Then the hotel's lifts are on the left as you enter the building. The current state of the elevator lobby and the lift is dire. See photos. Cigarette butts, and renovation mess.
In the reception, there was a lady in front of me that was haggling the prices of her room. Just so that you get an idea of the place.
Once I got into the room, it was fine. Quite a nice area. But there was no Aircon control, it was all centralised, but at least it was cool in Guiyang that night.
There was a wet mark on the sofa, see photo. I inspected the room for hygiene, and it was ok, clean towels, clean toilet, clean sheets, pillows didn't smell. The toilet flushes well, and shower room was clean. In fact, apart from the sofa mark and the rug condition, everything was good. I marked down the hygiene mainly from a suspicious wet mark and the state of the lobby/lift.
I used the self checkout in the morning to catch my train, since the reception was sleeping under the counter. It takes 10-15 min today walk to the station with luggage, with no rain shelter. Be aware. It is probably better to just book a hotel in a slightly better area and take a cab.

Environment: The location is great! It's very close to the high-speed train station, about a ten-minute walk away. You can even see the station from the window, and despite being so close, it's surprisingly quiet.
Service: The front desk staff was very welcoming and spoke softly. They even upgraded my room for free! My normal check-out time was 12 PM, but since I checked in late, they extended it to 2 PM.
Facilities: The facilities are good, but what really impressed me was the bathroom's Bluetooth connectivity, allowing me to play music while getting ready. As someone who loves listening to music while freshening up, this was a fantastic feature – it really set a great vibe, and the sound quality was excellent.

The location is incredibly convenient, very close to the snack street and Jiaxiu Tower, making it super easy to explore and grab food. Taxis get you anywhere quickly. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable, and the shower had good water pressure – I felt really at ease. The breakfast selection was quite diverse, offering authentic local dishes like Changwang noodles and beef rice noodles, which tasted very genuine. The staff were very friendly and efficient with check-in, and they promptly helped with any issues. Overall, it offers great value for money. Staying here for your Guiyang trip is definitely a no-brainer!

GGuest UserGreentree Eastern Hotel is the largest airport hotel in Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport, located at AC Park. It has four towers. Check-in is at the fourth tower. I thank the receptionist for reserving an aircraft-flying-view room at the third tower. Focal length of an aircraft taking off from Guiyang is 200mm to 400mm above.
I choose to stay at Greentree Eastern Hotel because the hotel does not charge room key deposit and it is the newest airport hotel opposite the Guiyang airport Terminal 3. I also want to test plane-spotting at this hotel. Besides, the nearest place to enjoy lunch and dinner is of less than one minute walk from the hotel, also at AC Park, and I get to enjoy extremely cheap Guizhou cuisine. I am very happy that I have selected the right airport hotel.
During my vacation at Greentree Eastern Hotel, two incidents happened.
Firstly, the receptionist told me that to print my boarding passes, I need to forward the online boarding passes via WeChat for the hotel to print the boarding pass. However, I explained to the receptionists that I have difficulties in using WeChat after registering an account. One of the receptionists helped me forward one boarding pass to his email address and from his email address to the hotel printer on Friday. I got the first online boarding pass in black and white.
On Saturday morning, I attempted the same but the other receptionst-on-duty refused to help me.
The other incident is at the hotel restaurant Bellagio (鹿港小镇). There is no restaurant staff to take the breakfast vouchers. Therefore, many guests have taken advantage of eating breakfast at the restaurant for free and before 7.30 am, many breakfast items were snapped up.
I hope that Greentree Eastern Hotel can provide better printing service and enforce the rule that a restaurant staff should be at the reception desk of the restaurant to collect the breakfast vouchers.
Other than the above, I will stay here again for plane-spotting purpose if necessary.
