Hotels near Sheshui Pier, Nantou

We had a pleasant stay at Shui Sha Lian Hotel at Sun Moon Lake. The location is excellent — just a short walk to Shui She Pier, making it very convenient for boat rides and lakeside strolls. We booked a lake view room at a very good price, and waking up to the beautiful sunrise over the lake was truly memorable. The room comes with a balcony, where we could sit and enjoy the peaceful view of the lake and surrounding mountains. There are many food options nearby, though most eateries close before 8pm, so do plan dinner early. The bed was comfortable enough, but the pillows were a little too soft for our liking. We appreciated the in-room drinking water dispenser — very convenient. Breakfast was simple. However, some items like siew mai and sweet potato tasted a bit frozen rather than freshly prepared. The hotel is about a 5-minute walk from Shui She Visitor/Bus Station, making it easy to travel by bus to Taichung, Puli, or Cingjing. Overall, it’s a convenient and value-for-money stay. Highly recommended!

Location is super convenient, barely 50m from the 7-eleven and SML's Nantou Bus Ticketing counter where Nantou Bus 6670 from Taichung drop passengers. The ground floor of the B&B is a elegantly decorated tea-shop and had a pleasant whiff of red-dates chinese tea, very welcoming on a hot day. Our room was nicely renovated, very cosy and clean, well laid out, with Taiwan cable channels and Youtube smart TV box. It has modern toilet fittings and very refreshing lightly scented shampoo and body wash in dispensers. The lady at the counter (小芸) was absolutely helpful. She sold us discounted ferry tickets compared to buying from the counters at the pier, explained activities to do and places to visit and boat/bus routes around SML when we arrived and gave us a WhatsApp to contact her for any queries. She also advised us to visit Itashao to taste the street foods for lunch and recommend places for dinner through WhatsApp after returning to Shiushe without pushing us to visit the restaurants nor buy tea from the shop. Truly warm ********* hospitality and the best part of staying in this B&B.

Location-wise, it's very close to Shuishe Matou, and the price is genuinely much cheaper than other hotels. So the old facilities are acceptable (the showerhead broke down during showering XD). If budget is a concern, you can choose to book online in advance for a cheaper price. Breakfast is an extra NT$120; there are breakfast shops outside. You can buy breakfast and eat in the lobby. Parking is an extra NT$300, but free parking is available if you have a bicycle; you can negotiate with the bicycle rental shop. You don't need to choose the bicycle rental shop affiliated with this hotel, as it doesn't matter whether there's a accommodation discount or not. You can compare prices from several other hotels yourself.

Great location right by the pier, with easy access to restaurants and shops. If you get a lake view room, the sunrise is amazing and the value for money is pretty good. The only downside was that a neighbor on their balcony was smoking, and the smell was hard to avoid. Parking is available at the nearby Zhongxing connected lot, which isn't too far of a walk.

Very friendly and accommodating front desk lady. The location is perfect for all you wish to do in town and just above the pier. Self-service washer and dryer available to use at a reasonable price. The name of the hotel as listed online needs to be corrected or better identified at the hotel physically. Keep in mind not all rooms have a window view apparently, if that matters to you. The accommodations were clean and more than sufficient with a modern air conditioning system in the room.

I had a wonderful stay here. Everything was perfect! The room was very clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The view was amazing and made the whole experience even better. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, which made us feel very welcome. I truly loved everything about this hotel and would definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

The room was clean and refreshing, and the overall feeling was great! It is also close to the ZTE parking lot, recommended to friends who want to stay in the water club and don't want to spend too much.

Это лучший и главное душевный отель из всей нашей большой поездки по Тайваню! Безупречная чистота, буквально в 3 минутах от автобусной станции, в 5-7 от паромов. Рядом много кафе и магазинов, а так же участок пешеходной дорожки не освещенной вдоль озера (от парома, если смотреть на него идти по тропе направо), где можно в темноте наблюдать много светлячков, это здорово! Хозяева очень приятные и заботливые люди, все расскажут, предложат варианты посещения достопримечательностей и походов, видимо они любят искренне то место, в котором живут. Завтраки в виде ланч бокса, но он хорошо сбалансированный и сытный. Номер просторный, чистый, с красивым дизайном. Все что нужно путешественнику, все есть! Кровать и подушки очень удобные, не хотелось утром вставать=) Было так здорово там остановиться, и если судьба забросит нас снова на СанМун, однозначно выберем только этот отель. Хозяевам от всей души желаем, что бы никогда не пустовали номера, спокойствия и счастья. Спасибо вам большое!

A well equipped hotel in a quiet spot in town. Conveniently located off the main road with a great buffet breakfast and dinner. Service was great. The upkeep of rooms could have been a little better as some amenities were a little worn, such as the carpet and console. Loved the onsen water in the bathtub. The children appreciated the complementary jelly cups and cookies left for us each day.

The sunmoon location offers a few options for budget tourists on the car. This option provides parking, free, normal large, it is just outside the hotel on the street. There is a smoke room in the hotel, it is not necessary to go down every time. On the first floor a good restaurant Hotel staff are very nice and friendly The hotel itself is tired of course but you get what you paid))) The only thing: make the cleaning of the chairs all such.. And better replace the pillows for artificial skin)
