[The Heart of the Capital] Located in Xitao Hutong, Jiugulou Street, Xicheng District, which is imbued with a strong flavor of old Beijing, the hotel is adjacent to the main route of the North Second Ring Road. It offers direct access to renowned destinations such as Peking Union Medical College Hospital, Tiananmen Square/Wangfujing, ensuring convenient transportation. It is also in close proximity to Yandai Xiejie, Nanluoguxiang Food Street, and other attractions, providing everything one might need. [Mansion Property] The hotel property is a renovated ancient building with a history of four hundred years. The courtyard dates back to the 31st year of the Wanli reign period. Emperor Yingzong of the Ming Dynasty (Zhu Qizhen, the sixth emperor of the Ming Dynasty) bestowed a residence upon Liu Jialin, a high-ranking official in the Imperial Palace. This mansion is the predecessor of the hotel. The charm of Beijing's architecture is on full display throughout the courtyard and the lobby, with carved beams and painted rafters, upturned eaves and bracket sets, reminiscent of the prosperity of a noble mansion in bygone days. The winding covered corridors run from north to south, the wooden carved decorations exude a pure and authentic texture, and the grey brick pavement provides a stable and grounded feel, leading to the depths of the courtyard in a meandering path. [Smart Hardware and Software] All guest rooms in the hotel are equipped with human body induction systems, eliminating the need for card insertion to access electricity. Guests can open doors remotely via a mobile app and control lights, curtains, air conditioners, televisions, and other devices using intelligent voice commands. The mattresses are from the century-old imported brand King Koil, and the high-quality, all-cotton, satin-finished bedding offers a cloud-like, comfortable sleep. Each room is (standardly equipped with) an intelligent toilet. The bathrooms feature high-end toiletries from POLA, a brand favored by the Japanese royal family, and dense, misty rainforest showerheads. The hotel is also equipped with a sunroom, a book bar, a café, and more, allowing guests to enjoy the scenic views of old Beijing hutong courtyards while relaxing. [Culinary Delights of the Capital] Upon checking in for the first night, guests will receive a complimentary buffet at the hotel restaurant, which combines Chinese and Western cuisines and showcases the flavors of old Beijing. A wide variety of Beijing-style delicacies and pastries are available, including fried sauce noodles, ruyi wontons, hutouzi (a type of pancake), shaobing with meat filling, aiwowowo (a sweet glutinous rice dumpling), fried crispy snacks, hawthorn cake, and more. [Highlight of the Courtyard] The hotel integrates local characteristics into its design and experience, naturally combining business travel with leisure travel attributes. It is a must-stay mid-to-high-end hotel for urban exploration. You can feel the charm of this city from the design-filled lobby, the details of the corridors, and the views outside the room windows. Let you always look forward to the next city adventure.

YiXi Place Siheyuan Hotel Hotels near Shichahai Station
YiXi Place Siheyuan Hotel Hotels near Shichahai StationYiXi Place Siheyuan Hotel Hotels near Shichahai Station
Houhai Area | 0.84km from Shichahai Station
Where the moonlit city of Xichang meets Beijing’s hutong alleys, YiXi Place Siheyuan Hotel comes to life. Under a full moon over Beiluo, a dual-city wonder unfolds—a non-traditional siheyuan that, though one of the larger courtyards in the area, quietly nestles among local residences, becoming a new artistic and luxurious landmark in Beiluo Drum Tower Alley. The strikingly designed architectural spaces invite lingering appreciation: the *chuandou* (column-and-tie) structure, combined with white marble in the central courtyard, narrates the culture and character of the Yi people—the bold “eagle” descendants, the fire-worshipping Yi, and their festive spirit. These stories leap to life through relief carvings and murals, unveiled to every visitor. Latticed wall art, landscape plantings at every corner, and flower-framed rest spaces along the corridors… Drawing on the grace of Jiangnan water courtyards and the grandeur of northern Chinese gardens, this space embodies and carries forward Eastern aesthetics. Through meticulous refinement day and night, it fulfills its promise of quality, creating an Eastern living sanctuary where one may wander, find peace, and dwell in beauty. Guest rooms are concentrated in the rear courtyard to ensure each offers a true vacation experience. The texture and grain of natural wood reflect refined taste and offer a comforting touch. Here, you truly feel that “home is your final island.” On sunny days, sip tea and chat with old friends in the garden; on rainy days, recline by the window and listen to raindrops patter on banana leaves. Every moment becomes a scene. Slow down—and discover the real life. The ingredients at YiXi Place Siheyuan Hotel come mainly from the bountiful lands of the Daliang Mountains, ensuring year-round freshness. Beyond exquisite, nutritious breakfasts, main meals highlight “mountain treasures” and “ocean delicacies.” Carefully selected wild mushrooms and organic greens are air-shipped to Beijing to preserve their freshness, while river and sea seafood undergoes rigorous checks to guarantee vitality. Truly—from mountain and sea, straight to your table.

TTuzizoutianxiaHere's my detailed review again! Overall: Excellent location, definitely worth staying! Firstly, the location is fantastic. It's a 5-minute walk to Sanyuanqiao subway station, and even closer if you exit from the basement of Phoenix City Mall. There are plenty of dining options and a 7-Eleven nearby. It's incredibly convenient whether you're exploring Beijing by subway or traveling to and from Capital Airport. Secondly, the cleanliness is great. Although the hotel has been open for a few years, the room facilities are well-maintained, and the bathroom and shower are very clean. Thirdly, the Citigo brand is known for its well-equipped lobby. The ground floor has a restaurant, billiards, TV, and bar service in the evenings, so you can enjoy the nightlife without even leaving the hotel. However, there's a common issue with Huazhu hotels: staff are asked to call and solicit good reviews... If a hotel is good, I'll naturally give an objective review. These calls are actually quite annoying.

Aaag01Great location, free laundry, comfortable fresh room. It was quiet when I was there in July, so I had a good sleep. Stayed there on my way back home, originally intended to stay at a different hotel on Wangfujing (the one I stayed at before), but very glad I booked this hotel instead. The gym has several treadmills, it is right next to the laundry, so you can use it during the wait. The staff at the reception was friendly and professional. There's tea and yogurt served at the reception area. I really enjoyed the hotel overall. The only minor downsides were: 1) several patches of dust I found on the bed after the cleaning one day, 2) the tea supplied at the tea station was not a standard tea and had rather unusual taste (not bad, but different).

GGuest UserThe location is great, right on the pedestrian street, easy to find, and a bit quieter as it's away from the dense shopping areas. The room was very clean, with no issues of dampness or strange smells. Although not huge, it was perfectly adequate. The service was also good; they proactively upgraded me to a room with a window. The front desk even mentioned that there might be some noise from construction outside the window, but since I returned to the room at night and it was raining, there was no construction noise. However, the soundproofing in the room didn't seem great; I could hear children's voices from the next room or across the hall, though it wasn't too disruptive.

RRudyMadrigalI’m truly grateful for this specific service apartment—it has been absolutely ideal for my stay in Beijing. It fits my needs perfectly, and I feel safe and at ease staying here. Due to my severe allergies, I could not stay in a standard hotel. Outside food holds too many hidden risks, filled with unknown plants and herbs that trigger my reactions. Cooking for myself is the only way I can stay healthy. I recently tried breakfast here and accidentally ate Chinese cured bacon, mistaking it for regular bacon. It was smoked with local vegetation I’m allergic to, which immediately caused an allergic response. This experience showed me how vital this service apartment truly is. Having a full kitchen lets me control every ingredient I eat. In an unfamiliar city where so many foods carry hidden allergens, this apartment gives me the safety and stability I desperately need.

GGuest UserI have been staying in this hotel since I came back a few years ago. It is very humane and upgraded me to a standard room on a high floor for free. I asked for a few more pairs of slippers, and they were given to me the day before yesterday. The price-performance ratio is very high. I will stay here again next time.

GGuest UserHere I am again, after less than a month! This time I even braved a heavy downpour to get here. My flight circled over Beijing for an hour before landing, so I didn't get to the hotel until after midnight. It was another one of those check-in and check-out on the same day trips. I was already feeling pretty groggy, but thankfully, Bella at the front desk was incredibly warm and enthusiastic. She handled everything super quickly and thoughtfully, getting me checked in no time. Once I got to the room, I even bothered the staff to open and close the window for me. They made two trips late at night – I'm really grateful, though I regret not catching their names. This time, my room had an even better view! When I woke up in the morning, the sun was even out, and my mood instantly brightened, just like the weather. I got back late from lunch, but luckily, they extended my check-out time. By the way, I once again ran into the ever-elegant Ms. Rose Xiao. She checked out my room card for me at the very last minute. This trip was truly a whirlwind. As expected, after the storm, there's always sunshine! (I hope I got both employees' names right; I always worry about misspelling them.)
