"The hotel staff were incredibly friendly. The hotel boasts stunning views and fresh air, making it a perfect spot to relax and recharge. I opted for the buffet package, but I wasn't particularly impressed. I probably wouldn't choose it again and would prefer to dine elsewhere. Additionally, the buffet restaurant had a strong, lingering cooking odor, and after meals, my clothes would inevitably pick up the greasy smell."

"The hotel is ok but the room is big. The restaurant in the hotel is a must try. My daughter LOVEs every dishes she ordered. She said, this is the best food she had in Taiwan, so we had two dinners at the hotel. The location of the hotel is not great! We couldn’t get into the local buses to go to Xitou nor to Taichung because the buses were full from the original starting point. However, the hotel offers fare shuttle service to and from Xitou but not Shanlinxi. The front desk lady drove us to Xitou, she was GREAT and very accommodating, she took us to Xitou bus station outside of the normal schedule hours so we can catch the bus back to Taichung. We would come back again with our car to get to different areas in Xitou again."
