"During the May Day holiday, the hotel lobby was bustling with guests, yet the front desk staff managed everything smoothly and efficiently. They greeted guests politely, always with a smile, showing a high level of professionalism that was truly impressive. What was even more exceptional was that despite the busy period, the duty manager, Darren Zhang, contacted us through the front desk to ask about our check-in preferences and room requirements. This made us very happy, and we will definitely choose Beijing Park Plaza Hotel again next time we visit Beijing!"
"The hotel's location is excellent, right above a subway station and the Shinsegae department store. The front desk staff provided great service, especially Xiao Li, who checked me in and even proactively upgraded my room. Thumbs up!👍🏻
However, I also have to mention a downside. I stayed in a suite, and there was a strange odor in the bedroom – like someone had sneezed without covering their mouth and the smell was lingering in the air. It was very noticeable as soon as I entered, particularly near the bedside table on the wardrobe side, but I couldn't pinpoint the source. Luckily, opening the window helped a bit, but this really impacted my stay experience."
"I just booked this room on a whim, and it turned out to be an unexpected delight! The entire room was impeccably clean, not a speck of dust even in the corners. Anna, one of the staff members, was incredibly warm and friendly, striking just the right balance with her service – efficient and hassle-free. The soundproofing in the room was excellent; I slept soundly through the night. The facilities were well-maintained and felt brand new, making my stay very comfortable and pleasant. They don't overdo it with marketing; they genuinely impress guests with their service. This will definitely be my top choice for future trips."
"Our foreign guests were very satisfied with their previous stay, so we chose this hotel again. The main reasons are: the breakfast is plentiful, the dining environment is excellent, and the service is attentive and prompt with clearing tables, without any loud noise. The second reason is its great location, close to Beijing Airport, making travel very convenient."
"A great hotel for a little weekend 'staycation.' I initially thought it would be more of a conference-style hotel, but the overall atmosphere was surprisingly relaxing. Special shout-out to Jerry, who was working the switchboard on the evening of June 20th – he was incredibly enthusiastic. Highly recommend!"
"Here's my detailed review again! Overall: Excellent location, definitely worth staying! Firstly, the location is fantastic. It's a 5-minute walk to Sanyuanqiao subway station, and even closer if you exit from the basement of Phoenix City Mall. There are plenty of dining options and a 7-Eleven nearby. It's incredibly convenient whether you're exploring Beijing by subway or traveling to and from Capital Airport. Secondly, the cleanliness is great. Although the hotel has been open for a few years, the room facilities are well-maintained, and the bathroom and shower are very clean. Thirdly, the Citigo brand is known for its well-equipped lobby. The ground floor has a restaurant, billiards, TV, and bar service in the evenings, so you can enjoy the nightlife without even leaving the hotel. However, there's a common issue with Huazhu hotels: staff are asked to call and solicit good reviews... If a hotel is good, I'll naturally give an objective review. These calls are actually quite annoying."
"Had a fantastic business trip stay here. The room was clean, quiet, and perfect for both work and rest. Mia at the front desk was incredibly friendly and helpful. When I checked in around noon, she even gave me a discount voucher for the lunch buffet on the second floor. The price was great, there was a wide variety of dishes, and overall it was excellent value for money. I had a very pleasant experience and will definitely choose this hotel again for my next business trip."
"I was very satisfied with my stay. The environment was good, the view was great, and the price was reasonable. The only downside was that the air conditioning wasn't very powerful, probably because the room was so spacious.
Another con was the expensive parking downstairs. It cost 100 yuan to park overnight, which was practically half the room rate, haha."
"Excellent 👍 My top choice in Wangjing for business trips to Beijing. The breakfast is great, and the staff are very friendly! They even prepared a takeaway breakfast bag for me! That's 120 points! The gym and laundry room are both very good. The front desk staff are also very friendly! A small suggestion: please add a weighing scale in the inner room of the gym. Thank you!"
"Based on my request, the hotel specifically arranged for me to stay on the 24th floor, very close to the executive lounge. The service was excellent every day, especially Anthony from the executive lounge who was incredibly warm and attentive. The hotel is conveniently located next to a subway station and a shopping mall. It was a fantastic experience, and I'll definitely consider staying here again next time I'm in town."

The staff were attentive and thoughtful, and incredibly friendly and easygoing, making you feel as warm and at ease as if you were with family. The hotel itself has a charming, antique feel with a unique and tasteful decor. Plus, getting to all the attractions is super convenient, making travel hassle-free and easy. The whole experience was delightful, and I genuinely recommend it to everyone!

Aaag01Great location, free laundry, comfortable fresh room. It was quiet when I was there in July, so I had a good sleep. Stayed there on my way back home, originally intended to stay at a different hotel on Wangfujing (the one I stayed at before), but very glad I booked this hotel instead.
The gym has several treadmills, it is right next to the laundry, so you can use it during the wait.
The staff at the reception was friendly and professional. There's tea and yogurt served at the reception area.
I really enjoyed the hotel overall.
The only minor downsides were: 1) several patches of dust I found on the bed after the cleaning one day,
2) the tea supplied at the tea station was not a standard tea and had rather unusual taste (not bad, but different).
GGuest UserThe location is great, right on the pedestrian street, easy to find, and a bit quieter as it's away from the dense shopping areas. The room was very clean, with no issues of dampness or strange smells. Although not huge, it was perfectly adequate. The service was also good; they proactively upgraded me to a room with a window. The front desk even mentioned that there might be some noise from construction outside the window, but since I returned to the room at night and it was raining, there was no construction noise. However, the soundproofing in the room didn't seem great; I could hear children's voices from the next room or across the hall, though it wasn't too disruptive.

Very Good
RRudyMadrigalI’m truly grateful for this specific service apartment—it has been absolutely ideal for my stay in Beijing. It fits my needs perfectly, and I feel safe and at ease staying here.
Due to my severe allergies, I could not stay in a standard hotel. Outside food holds too many hidden risks, filled with unknown plants and herbs that trigger my reactions. Cooking for myself is the only way I can stay healthy.
I recently tried breakfast here and accidentally ate Chinese cured bacon, mistaking it for regular bacon. It was smoked with local vegetation I’m allergic to, which immediately caused an allergic response.
This experience showed me how vital this service apartment truly is. Having a full kitchen lets me control every ingredient I eat. In an unfamiliar city where so many foods carry hidden allergens, this apartment gives me the safety and stability I desperately need.
KKaixinguofeimeiI booked this hotel for my Mexican clients who were traveling in China. They absolutely loved it and said it's a hotel they'd choose again if they came back to China. They specifically mentioned that the front desk staff were very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. They even said they'd be back!
GGuest UserThe rooms are quiet and tidy, and the bed is super comfortable, so after a long day of traveling, I can get a good rest. The service is also thoughtful, making it my first choice for business trips. This hotel is really good, the price is reasonable, and the rooms are spotless, making for a very pleasant stay. Especially the front desk staff, their service attitude is super great! 👍

GGuest UserI have been staying in this hotel since I came back a few years ago. It is very humane and upgraded me to a standard room on a high floor for free. I asked for a few more pairs of slippers, and they were given to me the day before yesterday. The price-performance ratio is very high. I will stay here again next time.
GGuest UserHere I am again, after less than a month! This time I even braved a heavy downpour to get here. My flight circled over Beijing for an hour before landing, so I didn't get to the hotel until after midnight. It was another one of those check-in and check-out on the same day trips.
I was already feeling pretty groggy, but thankfully, Bella at the front desk was incredibly warm and enthusiastic. She handled everything super quickly and thoughtfully, getting me checked in no time. Once I got to the room, I even bothered the staff to open and close the window for me. They made two trips late at night – I'm really grateful, though I regret not catching their names.
This time, my room had an even better view! When I woke up in the morning, the sun was even out, and my mood instantly brightened, just like the weather.
I got back late from lunch, but luckily, they extended my check-out time. By the way, I once again ran into the ever-elegant Ms. Rose Xiao. She checked out my room card for me at the very last minute.
This trip was truly a whirlwind. As expected, after the storm, there's always sunshine!
(I hope I got both employees' names right; I always worry about misspelling them.)

YYixiaoyueThe room amenities weren't great. In the first room, 213, the door couldn't be deadbolted, and the bed was so old it creaked loudly with every turn, making it hard to sleep at night – I was afraid to even move! The bathroom curtain didn't block out any light, and it kept letting light in from different spots, making me feel exposed while showering. There were no tissues in the room, only one roll of toilet paper in the bathroom, which was inconvenient as I had to go to the bathroom every time I needed a tissue. For the next four days, I stayed in room 109 on the first floor, which was better, at least the door lock worked. The only issue was that the water heater in the triple room was too small for three people to shower consecutively; one person had to wait half an hour after the other, and this was in 20-degree weather – I can only imagine how bad it would be in winter! The female receptionist was very kind, but the male receptionist's service attitude needs improvement. The male and female staff sitting at the front entrance, I'm not sure what their roles were, but their service was just average. Overall, I wasn't very satisfied.
Some top places to stay in Beijing are near popular attractions like The Palace Museum, Tiananmen Square and Wangfujing—so you can quickly get to top landmarks and amenities you need.
