"The room is comfortable and the location is great. However, I have three issues worth mentioning: Construction noise  1. Construction noise: There is construction work nearby, and they appear to work through the night. If your room is in stacks 01 to 26, the construction noise may keep you awake. 2. Pillows are too soft and thin : The pillows were quite thin and lacked support. Some hotels now provide two options, such as one memory-foam pillow and one softer/thinner pillow, which gives guests more choice. 3. Lighting in the room : As the room has an open-concept design, it is not possible to switch off the main room light while keeping the toilet lights on. This makes the room quite bright at night and can be uncomfortable when trying to sleep. Overall, the room and location are good, but these points could be improved to make the stay more comfortable."

"The environment is great. Walking into the hotel, I immediately felt comfortable. It's very suitable for business travelers. The front desk staff were very enthusiastic! I recommend this hotel. Upon arrival, they sent a lovely fruit platter to our room and even upgraded us to a room on the same floor for free. The only minor issue is that food delivery couriers aren't allowed upstairs. My suggestion for improvement would be to get a robot for food deliveries. The room's interior design style is a bit old-fashioned, with an older chandelier design, so all the lights in the room are warm-toned and not very bright, but it's not a big deal. The bathroom design is a bit interesting, with mirrors everywhere, but it did have a slight musty smell, which didn't affect using the facilities. This hotel has always been highly rated in Beijing, and I chose it after careful screening – it's reliable! It's very close to Tiananmen, the Forbidden City, Chang'an Avenue, and Wangfujing, and the subway access is excellent. The area around the hotel is a commercial street, perfect for shopping – no complaints there, as other reviews also confirm. I'm just here to validate, and it really is very good. The price is mid-to-high range, but for this location, it's quite a bargain, especially since Beijing is such a prime location. I'll include photos below to show the reality."

"This stay far exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, every staff member greeted me with a genuine smile. Check-in at the front desk was efficient and thoughtful, and they proactively upgraded my room. The room itself was spacious and clean, with soft, comfortable bedding and an excellent view from the window. What was even more delightful was the turndown service, which included a warm, evening drink – truly exceptional attention to detail. Breakfast was plentiful, offering both local specialties and Western pastries. Whether it was the location, facilities, or service, everything was impeccable. The next time I visit this city, this will definitely remain my first choice, and I'll be recommending it to my friends."

"We were absolutely thrilled with this room! The decor was so warm and inviting, and it was fully equipped with everything we needed. The location was fantastic too – really convenient for transportation, and surrounded by tons of shopping malls and food streets. It made getting around and everyday life incredibly easy."

"We are a family of 3 and stayed for 4 nights. Upon arrival the gentleman at the reception, Mr Sun, has been very efficient in adding the extra bed for our room, which was very helpful - thank you! The hotel is at the center of Beijing and very convenient, the taxi can take you right to the front entrance, as well as being close to the underground (just under 100/200 meters) and shopping malls nearby (so we are spoiled with choice of restaurants). There is a very good restaurant famous for dim sum on the ground floor of the hotel and we had our breakfast there😊. The hotel is surprisingly quiet and we had very good sleep considering we had three full on sight seeing days (including climbing greatwall). Very clean/fresh room with powerful but quiet air conditioning which is great relief for hot summer night. I believe the hotel was refurbished not long ago (2 years ago?) so all new and in working order. Overall a lovely stay, highly recommend and we will definitely return in future!"

"Make sure to check the room type carefully as this one has no windows. The bed is right by the entrance. It's unlikely you'll be able to open two 24-inch suitcases simultaneously. If you have carry-on luggage, you might need to move the table and chairs around. The bed and TV are quite close, and you'll need to turn sideways to enter and exit the bathroom to avoid bumping into things. The only upside is its convenient location, not far from Xidan, making getting around relatively easy. It's about a 10-minute walk to the subway station. During holidays, Subway Line 1 often skips stops around the Forbidden City, so be aware of that! As for the Orange souvenir: I'm not sure what it is; I didn't receive one from check-in to check-out. Perhaps the staff were too busy during the May Day holiday and forgot, or maybe it's given out randomly."

"Our family came for a trip and saw online that the hotel's location was great, and it truly lived up to its reputation. It's very close to Niujie, where we tried many snacks, especially the test lamb skewers which were excellent. The hotel was quite busy during the holiday, and the kids loved the pool. Alina at the front desk gave us some treats, which made them very happy."

"The staff were incredibly kind and professional, making for an excellent experience. The cleanliness was top-notch; every corner was spotless, and the bedding smelled fresh. The soundproofing in the room was amazing. The room itself was simple and clean, making it even more comfortable than my own home. The breakfast selection was incredibly rich with fresh hot dishes, perfectly cooked congee, and delicious freshly ground soy milk and noodles. You can definitely eat your fill comfortably."

"A heavenly hotel with excellent hygiene and a prime location! The room was spotless and bright, the bathroom dry and tidy, and the bedding soft and clean, making for a truly comfortable stay. It's within walking distance of Xidan Cultural Square, and the subway provides easy access to the Forbidden City and Wangfujing, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. Highly recommended!"

"A pleasant hotel with a superb location. It's centrally located, allowing you to walk to the main attractions. The hotel is clean, and the staff are friendly – we communicated through a translator and understood each other perfectly. The breakfasts might be a bit strange for Europeans, but you can put together something light. Otherwise, it's a great hotel to choose for a stopover in Beijing if you plan on spending your days exploring."
