We brought our child to Changzhou Dinosaur Park and chose the Holiday Inn Express, a reliable chain. The hygiene and facilities were excellent, and the breakfast was good too.
The hotel is just over a kilometer from Global Harbor. We even went there for New Year's Eve and then leisurely walked back to the hotel.
Getting a taxi to Dinosaur Park the next day was also quite quick. It offers great value for money, and the front desk staff were very friendly, always greeting us. Definitely recommend it! ~~~~

The location of the hotel is relatively moderate, two or three kilometers away from the Jiangnan Global and Cultural Square that you want to go to. There is an underground parking lot and it is free. And pet-friendly (small dog), you need a deposit of 200 yuan, but check out and check out in seconds. The room is relatively large and the facilities need to be improved, especially the shower room has no place to hang towels. Overall it's ok. The front desk glasses sister is very enthusiastic, the attitude is particularly good, responsive, praise!

My relatives came to Changzhou for a visit, so I booked them into the Reekte Hotel. The hotel quality is really high, the rooms are cozy and comfortable, and there's a great variety at breakfast. The front desk service was also excellent; they even upgraded our room for free because we had a child with us. I'm very satisfied! I'd definitely stay here again if I have the chance!

Staying at this amazing ocean-themed family hotel with my little one was a 10/10 experience! As soon as we walked in, we were captivated by the huge cruise ship bow, and ocean elements were everywhere in the lobby. The kids' amenities in the room were also fantastic – special toothbrushes, slippers, starfish-shaped soap, and even adorable ocean-themed decorations. My child absolutely loved it. The rooftop playground was a paradise for kids, with so many fun attractions they couldn't stop playing. Plus, there's a beautiful Ferris wheel right next to it. We took a ride and got stunning views of the entire city – perfect for photos! Breakfast also exceeded our expectations; the variety of Chinese and Western options was incredible, and the food was delicious. The entire experience was fantastic, and Michelle at the front desk provided super attentive service. A truly satisfying stay, we'll definitely be back if we get the chance!

Also saw a lot of foreign Bussiness man from different countries during my stay there. Seems like most of foreighners who go to this area live in this Hotel.

I didn't check in until almost midnight, after watching some football and having a late-night snack. I chose this hotel because I was heading to Dinosaur Park the next day. Getting to Dinosaur Park by taxi was super convenient, costing only about ten yuan, and the hotel's location was really easy to find. Even though it was a weekend, there were plenty of parking spaces available, which was a huge plus.

I chose this hotel because I have an exam tomorrow. The hotel is located between two car dealerships, right next to Exit 1 of the Global Harbor subway station. Global Harbor itself is just across the street, making it convenient for eating, drinking, entertainment, and transportation. However, be careful not to go to the wrong place, or you'll have to go a long way around to get back. The hotel atmosphere is nice; the lobby and restaurant on the first floor, along with a large reading area, are very comfortable. The front desk staff were very welcoming, offering hot water as soon as I entered – a big plus! The room is a nice, compact size, and the amenities are standard: water, tea bags, and ginger tea. The hotel's decor shows some age, but it's very clean; I didn't see any unwanted marks or stains when held up to the light. The bed was comfortable, and there were extra blankets and pillows in the closet. The only thing to improve is that the air conditioning takes a while to start. I didn't have time for breakfast, so I can't comment on that. There's a huge parking lot with charging stations outside the window, which is great. However, could you perhaps negotiate a car wash service with the dealership? I really want to get my car washed! I hope I can get an upgrade to a suite next time I come. After all, it took a lot of effort for me to write such a long review, haha.

The front desk service was absolutely fantastic! The hotel boasts a lovely design, excellent facilities, and a spacious lobby. Check-in was quick, and we even received a welcome gift. Our room was spotlessly clean, with reliable Wi-Fi and a large, incredibly soft and comfortable bed. All the amenities were well-stocked. The breakfast spread was plentiful and delicious. The hotel's location is also superb, being very close to the station. We can't wait to stay here again!

The breakfast offering is another highlight. The hotel is right on the shore of Tianmu Lake. Manager Zeng kindly upgraded us to a lake-view room for free 🥳 The floor-to-ceiling windows overlook the lake, and sitting by the window, we could enjoy the view – very pleasant! While the hotel facilities are consistent with renovations from 10 years ago, they were clean and tidy.
The room included a 100 RMB voucher for authentic Tianmu Lake fish head hot pot, which we ordered a day in advance from Manager Zeng. The soup was indeed delicious, and the fish was tender – clearly made with fresh fish. It was great value after the discount! We also ordered celery and pork ribs, which came to about 100 RMB per person. Lunch at the hotel ends at 1 PM, so it's recommended to book in advance with the manager.
The hotel package includes a complimentary bicycle for one hour of riding. We actually rode for about 3 hours, starting around 10:30 AM and returning around 1:30 PM. The hotel provided Giant mountain bikes, which were excellent and comfortable to ride! At Tianmu Lake scenic area, only electric bikes are available for rent; bicycles are almost nonexistent, and family bicycles are even less common! The hotel's (actually free) bicycle rental service was fantastic! Our route was hotel-Shahe Bridge-hotel, and the return trip on Highway 1 was almost entirely downhill with beautiful scenery – a truly wonderful experience!
The hotel's hot spring is outdoor; you need to bring your swimsuit if you want to use it. Guests can use the outdoor hot spring for free. We didn't bring our swimsuits, and it felt a bit chilly outside, so we skipped it. Our manager recommended an indoor hot spring in Liyang city called Jinsha Hot Spring, about a 25-minute drive from the scenic area. We took our child there; it cost 80 RMB per person, including one meal, and allowed 12 hours of use – also quite good!

It truly is a great spot for relaxation and wellness. We booked a Deluxe Lake View Room, and the hotel even upgraded us for free to a Luxury Lake View Room. The hotel also offers a variety of fun amenities for children, making it perfect for families with kids. What's even more appealing to visitors is the Cloud Top Observation Deck, which offers panoramic views of Tianmu Lake's beautiful scenery, with lush mountains and clear waters as far as the eye can see – truly a feast for the eyes. It's worth mentioning that the breakfast restaurant is grand and situated right by Tianmu Lake. You can enjoy your breakfast while taking in the stunning lake and mountain views, which really enhances your appetite. The Chinese restaurant offers a wide variety of delicious dishes, with plenty of choices, and the prices are quite reasonable. However, there was one minor disappointment: we wanted to rent the electric scooter with a sidecar located at the entrance of the children's playground. After a series of complicated scanning procedures, the screen displayed that we were over 65 years old and denied us use. How wonderful it would have been to explore the beautiful scenery around the hotel on that electric scooter with a sidecar! We had no problems driving 260 kilometers from Shanghai to the hotel ourselves! We understand that the hotel's concern for the safety of older guests is valid, so we suggest that it would be more accommodating to allow older individuals with a valid driver's license to use it. Overall, this hotel is still very good. We will definitely choose this hotel again when we visit Tianmu Lake in the future.

The hotel housekeeper contacted us in advance, and we stayed in the private soup room and gave us fish head vouchers. For other dishes, we ordered black rice and The small bamboo shoots are quite delicious when cooked, and the experience is still very good!

GGuest UserFood: Breakfast was varied, with western，asian and local. We had Dinner at the main buiding using ******* set menu and it was a good deal, as the 2 person deal is enough to feed 4 and tasted quite delicious.
Location: it is a resort so you are going to spend most of the time on the resort ground. We booked 3 day 2 night and the time was enough to explore everything. Nice scenery.
Amenities: only a few activities were covered in our package so it will depend on your package. The package was confusing and we didnt know exactly all the activities that were free or cost extra. The reception on check in should have explained all of this upon check in, but maybe they are not trained, or maybe because our accomadation at pinecone is considered 4 star so they used lower quality staff. All the free stuff are a bit lame and service was poor except for the craft lady who actually showed us a wechat app for the hotel where free activity voucher can be found. They outsourced the activity area so that is really poor decision as it hurts the brand image due to service levels. For hotel staff, thumbs up to the shuttle ladies, who you call to get from one place to another. They are prompt and speedy.
Service: check in staff was professional but not warm. As mentioned, the activity area is outsourced so most staff are cold and seemed rude, except for the craft lady who was actually decent. But considering this resort and the type of guest, i would consider this really bad.
Cleaniness: the room is very clean, a bit worn (see pics of wall), but it feels quite clean.

GGuest UserOverall, it was great! We went during a less busy period, after the holiday rush. It's definitely a business-oriented hotel. The first room we were given had a slight issue, but I reported it to the front desk attendant, Julie, right away, and she quickly resolved it by getting us a new room – big thanks to Julie! There aren't many dining options within walking distance, just one or two, but we didn't get to try them this time due to time constraints. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for a family vacation with my elders in the future! The West Taihu Lake scenery nearby is absolutely stunning, and the hotel breakfast was good too. I'll be back!

GGuest UserI was so shocked by how big my room was for such a cheap price! The bed was really comfortable and the bathroom facilities were great. Very clean. The staff don’t speak English but it’s no problem as we could use translation apps. They helped me to order food on the delivery app. The location is quite convenient as it’s near to a metro station. I was really pleasantly surprised by this hotel and I would definitely stay here again!
