The hotel is behind the Yunnan Provincial High Court. There is a Love Sea Shopping Center less than one kilometer away. Parking is also convenient. The breakfast is also rich. The room is quiet and clean. What I like most is that there is a sports center next to the hotel. You can go swimming with the room card. The 50-meter standard swimming lane is clean and not crowded. I stayed for four days and went swimming twice. It was very comfortable

The environment is fantastic and new, the service is impeccable, and all the facilities are top-notch. The amenities provided are high-quality, the mini-bar is well-stocked and complimentary, and the location is super convenient for getting around. I'll definitely be back!

It's rare for a hotel not to actively ask for good reviews, but I really want to give this one a five-star rating. The room is fully equipped, the TV is a good size with excellent picture quality, and all the streaming service memberships are already paid for. Unlimited free water is provided, and service response is incredibly fast and friendly, even surpassing some five-star hotels. The breakfast offers a wide variety and good quality, and the free coffee in the lobby tastes great... My five-night stay was convenient, relaxing, and enjoyable. The only minor flaw is that the room faces the road, so I needed earplugs to sleep. It would be even better if they could install soundproof double or triple-glazed windows in the future. I'll definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Kunming.

Novotel, part of the French Accor Group, is a mid-to-upscale business and leisure hotel chain. I've stayed at them abroad before, and they always offer guests a balanced, relaxing experience. In China, they're operated by Huazhu Hotels Group. Choosing the Novotel on Dianchi Road this time was a smart move. **Butler Service:** After booking, a butler (mine was Lucky) called me in advance to provide hotel service and facility information via WeChat. They even sent a PPT with a local travel guide, so guests can be well-informed before check-in. **Location:** The hotel is near Nanya Fengqing First City and Aegean Shopping Park. There are plenty of restaurants on two nearby streets, making dining and shopping very convenient. It's in a quiet spot yet close to everything. Fuhai Station on Metro Line 5 is just a few hundred meters away, making it easy to visit attractions. **Room & Cleanliness:** The twin room was a decent size with wide beds that were medium-firm. There were two pillows – one for support and one for sleeping. Personally, I found the pillows a bit too soft. All the linen was very clean, and the hairdryer was a Dyson. The room was thoroughly cleaned, with no missed spots. **Gym:** Located on the 20th floor, I was very satisfied. It's on two levels and well-equipped. Working out with a night view from a high floor was a real treat. **Swimming Pool:** Also on the 20th floor, it's 20 meters long and 1.2 meters deep. I checked it out but didn't have time for a swim. During the day, the floor-to-ceiling windows by the pool let in plenty of sunshine. **Laundry Room:** There are 2 dryers and 2 washing machines. I used them once. I imagine it might get busy and require waiting during peak season. **Breakfast:** You can sample local specialties like Yunnan rice noodles, Ersi (rice cakes), Miggan (rice sheets), and Qiguoji (steam pot chicken soup). The breakfast spread was comprehensive, but the croissants and Western pastries were of average quality. **Special Drinks:** As a Huazhu Hotels member, I received a voucher for a special coffee drink at the lobby bar, and a fruit platter was sent to my room. **Service:** The lobby staff were quite enthusiastic and answered all my questions in detail. Upon check-out, I even received a thoughtful small gift box. **Suggestions:** 1. There was only one small trash can in the room. There were no trash cans near the sink area, which was quite inconvenient. 2. The shower room uses anti-slip tiles, but adding an anti-slip mat would make it even safer.

The room is of good size, clean and tidy, the environment is also very good, the surrounding living facilities are complete, there are large shopping malls nearby. Parking is also convenient, there is a basement. The service attitude is very good.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The location is easy to find, and parking is convenient. The room was larger than expected, and the minimalist decor was perfect for photos. Most importantly, the cleanliness was impeccable; as someone who's particular about hygiene, I was extremely satisfied and have to give it a great review! Usually, I'm quite picky about hotel cleanliness, but this time I couldn't find a single flaw. You could tell the sheets and duvet covers were freshly changed, and there were no water stains or hair in the bathroom corners. The room had excellent soundproofing, and the blackout curtains were superb, allowing me to sleep until I woke up naturally. You can really feel the owner's dedication. Check-in at the front desk was super fast, full marks for efficiency. It's excellent value for money, and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

The hotel environment is clean and tidy, the rooms are spacious and bright, and the lighting is very good. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and the quality of sleep is super high. The front desk service is warm and thoughtful, the check-in efficiency is fast, and the staff is kind. The location is excellent, the travel is convenient, and the surrounding facilities are complete. Very good value for money, health and security are in place, the accommodation experience is excellent, and the next trip will be preferred!

The overall experience exceeded my expectations! The room was meticulously cleaned, well-lit, and odor-free. The bedding was soft and comfortable. Service response was prompt and the staff were friendly. Breakfast was fresh and varied. I had a pleasant and comfortable stay, highly recommended!

Staying at the Jiangye Hotel was an excellent experience. The location is superb, within walking distance to Dianchi Lake, and you can easily rent a bike to cycle around the lake right outside. The room was clean, comfortable, and tidy, with a peaceful and quiet environment. The service was attentive and thoughtful, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and getting around. This is definitely the top choice for anyone visiting Dianchi Lake, I highly recommend it!

5 stars! wonderful stay at Hampton by Hilton Kunming. So good that we are already planning to return in a couple of weeks after our Yunnan road trip. Overall, the service team was excellent—professional, warm, and consistently helpful. Everyone we interacted with was great; the few names mentioned below simply reflect the staff we had the most contact with. A special thank you to Eric, who went above and beyond to assist us with receiving and organizing our items throughout our stay. He was attentive, professional, reliable, and a real pleasure to deal with. He took great care in helping us manage multiple deliveries, ensuring everything was properly received, safely stored, and ready for us whenever we needed it—even coordinating around our absence. His kindness, willingness to help, and attention to detail truly stood out. Manager Isabella was also outstanding—proactive, efficient, and incredibly gentle. She coordinated our orders seamlessly and even arranged for staff to collect our parcels from the storage area, which made everything effortless for us. There was also another lovely receptionist (I believe her name may be Audrey—apologies if that’s incorrect) who was friendly and professional throughout. The housekeeping team deserves special mention as well. One of the housekeepers we saw daily was truly delightful—always smiling, kind, and very helpful. She added a warm, personal touch to our stay. Communication was smooth and easy, which made everything very convenient. Breakfast was of high quality, nutritious, and offered a good variety. The room was spotless, comfortable, and very well maintained. Well it’s the Hampton! The Kashgar property was our first experience with the Hampton chain and is equally deserving of high praise) The photos we’ll be uploading do speak for themselves. So overall, a very enjoyable stay with excellent value. Highly recommended, and we look forward to returning soon.
