Cleanliness: The room was clean, and the cleaning staff were very polite. Our 'Nai Long' themed room was on the 8th floor, and honestly, the view from the corridor was an unexpected bonus – absolutely stunning! When the weather is good ☁️, the sea looks so beautiful 😻 and incredibly therapeutic~
Facilities: For the price, the facilities are incredibly comprehensive. The pool, gym, kids' club, indoor and outdoor activities are all available, plus a beach lounge area, shuttle bus, aquarium 🐟, and restaurant. The mermaid 🧜♀️ performance during dinner already far exceeds the value of the price itself.
Environment: It's conveniently located near three major commercial streets, making it super easy to get around. There are also many dining options nearby.
Service: Gina from Guest Services was wonderful ❤️. She made my entire vacation delightful. No matter what issues arose, she resolved them immediately, which was beyond expectations! 👍 Sanya has been in the public eye recently, but my family and I love it here as always. Only those who have visited will understand. We've returned countless times and I will definitely be back. Wishing the hotel great success in business and Gina all the best in her work! 🌹

The room was wonderfully cool, whether it was the excellent air conditioning or something else, I slept deeply through the night. The pillows were just the right firmness, making for a very comfortable sleep, and I woke up refreshed and ready to explore the next day. There are coconut trees by the hotel pool, and I saw staff cleaning it every morning, which shows their attention to hygiene details is excellent. In the afternoon, I saw other guests complaining about the pool water being dirty, but that really wasn't the case. With so many coconut trees nearby, it's completely normal for leaves to fall in with the wind, so I don't understand what those people were complaining about. Overall, it was a good stay, and the room was quite spacious.

The environment is fantastic! For a hotel costing just over 1000, the ambiance alone is worth 800! The room was very spacious, and the ocean view was absolutely stunning! Although the weather was bad and rainy when we arrived, making the room a bit damp, we contacted the front desk and they immediately sent up a dehumidifier. Our butler, Bella, provided excellent service! We wanted to check in early, and she actively helped us with the process. The complimentary travel photography offered by the hotel was also great! If I come back to Sanya, I'd definitely consider staying at Mangrove Tree again!

Traveling with my family, including kids and elderly, we found the Sheraton's public areas beautiful, with scenic views everywhere. The rooms were quite spacious, and the balcony views were lovely. The rooms felt a bit old and worn, and the doors were a bit shabby, but I personally think that's negligible. The bathroom water pressure was just okay, and a bit low for my liking. Breakfast was average. There was even a sofa with a backrest in the breakfast area that was moldy – really, it felt like something you'd find at a street stall. We booked two rooms, and the front desk gave us excellent views, and both rooms were next to each other, which was a plus. Our rooms were cleaned by around 3:30 PM for check-in, and they extended our check-out to 2:30 PM, which was perfect for my child's nap – very much appreciated. The phone in the room wasn't plugged in on the first day, and it didn't say to dial '0' for service, though there were buttons labeled for a 'service center' that didn't actually work. There were plenty of parent-child activities, like a small train, catching small crabs, a bonfire, stargazing, fishing, digging in the sand, collecting shells, etc. – so much to do! The lifeguard even proactively showed me how to deflate the swimming ring, haha. Upon check-out, we received a gift, a Hainan-style necklace.

This hotel offers incredible value for money. I spent a long time debating whether to book one of the older hotels in the front row, but ultimately chose this one. For just over 1,200, we got an 80+ square meter suite, which perfectly suited our family with a child and an elderly person. The key highlight for us was the special, cartoon-themed room key for our little one – they absolutely loved it! Most hotels don't go that extra mile.
The hotel's kids' activities schedule was packed and much more extensive than what Shangri-La offers. The breakfast was also very generous, with a wide variety of Chinese dishes, meat options, cold cuts, Western food, and a noodle station to cater to different tastes. This price point truly is a steal. The only minor issues were that some equipment needs better maintenance – the water in a few rooms wasn't very hot, and adjusting the air conditioning temperature higher sometimes produced an odd smell. However, the hotel promptly upgraded us to a sea-view suite and even sent a cake to address these concerns, showing great attentiveness and thoughtfulness.

This hotel has been open for years and boasts excellent facilities. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the surrounding area is convenient for dining and shopping. Right below the lobby, there are several night markets with live music in the evenings, and there are also self-service restaurants nearby, making it easy to eat, shop, and explore. The hotel also provides butler service, which was incredibly well-arranged. They helped with luggage upon check-in and arranged for a porter to move it downstairs at checkout. The lack of an elevator in the rooms was a bit inconvenient, so the butler really had to work hard going back and forth. When I mentioned the frog sounds at night, the butler immediately provided earplugs. The air conditioning wasn't particularly cool, and it was replaced once, but the butler service was so good that I didn't feel it had much impact overall.

My stay at the Grand Metropark in April was a true revelation. Yalong Bay itself is an amazing place, but the hotel turned our trip into a real fairy tale. The grounds are huge and very well maintained, immersed in the greenery of tropical gardens – a true oasis for body and soul. By the way, even though the beach is a bit away, it turned out to be a plus: the beach was always uncrowded, clean, and this private little paradise felt like it belonged only to us (and the shuttle runs every half hour, so it’s no trouble at all).
I love to go for morning runs, and the conditions here were absolutely perfect! In the morning, when the air is still fresh, it's especially pleasant to run along the paths that wind through all that lush greenery. The light tropical mist and the birdsong give you energy for the whole day. And imagine our surprise when, during one of those runs, we ran into the hotel's general manager himself, Mr. Chen Dexiong, who was also out for his morning run! That kind of moment is priceless – you immediately feel that there's a special atmosphere of care and attention to every guest.
The food here deserves a song of its own. Breakfasts and dinners were magnificent: a huge selection of dishes, from your usual scrambled eggs to the freshest seafood and the delights of Asian cuisine, which could be prepared right in front of you or in special hot pots. All the staff are incredibly kind and friendly, and the villa cleaning was impeccable.
In short, Grand Metropark is not just a hotel – it's a place you want to return to again and again. For me, it was the best investment in my own rest and recovery.

Me and my mom stayed in the resort for 6 nights. We chose a recently remodeled smart room with breakfast buffet included and were not disappointed. The room was very clean, modern and had beautiful sea view. Breakfast was nice, menu varied slightly almost every day, many options to choose from. I found it to be good value for money. Staff were super friendly and always ready to help. The resort has a private beach area, great if you are looking for a quiet chill beach time. The location of the hotel is also good - far enough from all the noise of the main shopping and eating area, but still within a walkable distance. The only inconvenience is the absence of any decent convenience shops nearby. Mini mart on the resort grounds is small and extremely expensive. All in all, highly recommend, will book again.

Along Yalong Bay, hotels are lined up one after another, and with a few exceptions, their prices are all quite similar. The choice of which hotel to pick really comes down to personal preference.
1. **Choice:** If you're looking for a quieter stay, Hilton or Marriott would be good options, as they don't have too many organized activities. If you want to relax while your kids have plenty of space to burn off energy and learn some skills, MGM is the place to be. They have a wide variety of pools and activities. My nine-year-old learned to surf in just an hour!
2. **Sand:** Lying on the beach is okay, but forget about snorkeling to see fish or anything – there's nothing there, and the sand is quite coarse and uncomfortable underfoot. The lack of fine sand is a big downside.
3. **Activities:** There are lots of activities, which means lots of kids, making it incredibly noisy.
4. **Breakfast:** It's decent, but after 8 AM, you'll have to queue to get in because it gets too crowded.
5. **Afternoon Tea:** The most impressive part for me was the cakes at the chocolate house – they were delicious! Not those mushy, soft types!
6. **Milk Tea:** I found it to be mediocre. The pearls were rock hard, and the tea was very astringent!
7. **Accommodation:** The room was quite spacious, but the facilities are a bit dated. For example, the power outlets and the light control panel. The worst part was that the toilet in my room was leaking, which was really annoying...
8. **Photos:** The beach looks beautiful for photos on a clear day.

GGuest UserThis was my second stay at the InterContinental, and this time it was for two nights. The underwater restaurant is quite unique. Winnie was incredibly thoughtful; despite a tight room situation, she managed to upgrade us to a Deluxe Seaview room. The room attendant kept our room very clean, tidying it up both days, and was very responsive, immediately arranging whatever we needed.
The staff at the hotel entrance were also proactive, helping with luggage and opening car doors.
The breakfast spread was extensive, with various local noodle dishes, fresh juices, and even a dedicated buffet area for kids, which felt very reassuring. My child thoroughly enjoyed the mini-train ride and participated in many activities like making hamburgers. Haitang Bay is relatively quiet, and the beach isn't crowded, with tons of crab holes! Haha. It's also very convenient for duty-free shopping, as the hotel has its own shuttle route.
Just before check-out, my child insisted on going for a swim, and Winnie once again worked her magic, helping us extend our check-out until 1:30 PM. A huge thank you!
Aside from the bad weather, our stay at the hotel was very comfortable. Hope to come back again.

LL RomanThe hotel is beyond expectations. It is located in Xiaodonghai Bay. We were vacationing with our daughter of 1.4 years old. We went for complete privacy, silence and relaxation. The hotel consists only of villas, there are about 30 of them, there are no building rooms, which ensures privacy and silence. The territory is large, incredibly well maintained and very beautiful. Beauty is in the details. The villa itself is well planned and consists of a main house and a small additional one. We had lunch here when we ordered something in the room. The personnel brought a high chair for my daughter and it stayed here during all days of our vacation. Interestingly, they don't just bring food to the room, but also serve the table. It's nice.
In general, the staff is as attentive as possible, this is reflected in the little things. The breakfast was included in the accommodation, so we either went to the hotel restaurant for lunch and dinner (only Thai and Chinese cuisine, but there is a children's menu and we ordered something for our daughter), and something Thai for ourselves. Everything is cooked very tasty and of high-quality. It was at this hotel that I first tasted the local Hainan dessert - cold coconut milk soup with fruits and cereals. I'm not a big fan of Chinese food in general, but I really liked this soup! We also ordered food directly to the villa through the Chinese app Elema (饿了么), which is in Chinese. We didn't go to street restaurants. In general, in China, the delivery of ready-made food is incredibly developed, you can order anything and anywhere. If we needed a taxi, we ordered it through the Chinese Didi (弟弟）app. But we didn't want to leave the villa and the hotel at all, we spent most of our time by the pool. Usually we need the sea, but this time it was so good to chill out at the villa that we somehow didn't need the sea). Moreover, we have a little daughter, and so far it has been more convenient to swim with her in our own pool than at sea.
We used Alipay to pay everywhere. During our stay, we visited the spa several times, took various treatments (body scrubs, various massages), we really liked everything. They do it efficiently, I recommend it. I also recommend trying small drinking coconuts in Hainan - they are divine! The very taste of a rich bounty)). Look for small brownish colors, no more than 10 cm in diameter, it has a very rich thick sweet taste of coconut. About the sea: if you are looking for active swimming in the sea, the hotel may not be suitable. It's very shallow here (that's okay) and after about 100 meters, where it's still shallow, there's an underwater breakwater. Therefore, if you swim, you will just bump into it. Because of this, there are no waves in the bay. But there are algae growing on the bottom. It may be possible to swim well during a very strong tide, but it was not possible to swim during our visit. That's why we spent the day at the villa, swimming and relaxing there. And after sunset, we went out for a walk along the shore, admired the sunset, played with our daughter in the sand and on the playground, and also strolled along the pier. For some reason, for the first time, we really didn't really want to swim in the sea). In general, if you want to spend your entire vacation in complete relaxation with the chirping of birds, the sound of the wind and the lapping of waves, then I definitely recommend Banyan tree.

GGuest UserWe stayed in the Wild Goose room type during the May Day holiday. During our stay, we saw squirrels, chameleons, and small monkeys in the park. Compared to Yunnan and Hangzhou, the squirrels here were the biggest I've ever seen, which shows the excellent ecological environment on the mountain. The hotel's breakfast was great, much better than the Hilton Yalong Bay where we stayed the previous two days. My picky eater child's appetite proved that, and the breakfast restaurant offers sea views, which makes eating more enjoyable. If you like peace and quiet, I recommend staying here for two nights. If you prefer a lively atmosphere, I'd suggest staying by the sea. It's lovely to quietly enjoy the sea view here, dine at a sea-view restaurant, and swim in a sea-view pool. However, if you want to experience bustling night markets and seafood stalls, you'll need to go down the mountain, which is quite inconvenient (as I got a bit carsick twice going down, even just from the lobby to Baihua Valley, a personal experience). The resort is divided into several areas, essentially small hilltops, from which you can see Haitang Bay (we could see a bit from our room) and Yalong Bay. Different room types, restaurants, and pools are also distributed across these various hilltops. If you have specific requirements regarding these, I recommend calling the hotel beforehand. After check-in, a manager contacts you. This time, Manager Sun who contacted us was excellent; she responded very promptly to any questions. She helped us book a guide service that the hotel cooperates with the scenic area. Additionally, the housekeeping staff would call to confirm if cleaning was needed. Overall, the hotel's service is definitely up to standard.

MMs.TeeI had such an amazing stay at the JW Marriott Hotel Sanya Dadonghai Bay. The location is honestly perfect — everything you need is right there. You can simply walk down to the beach, enjoy water activities, and explore so many restaurants nearby. It’s the kind of place where you never feel isolated because there’s always something happening around you.
One of the things I loved most is that the hotel is connected to the Shanhaitian Resort Sanya, Autograph Collection. If you’re staying at JW Marriott, you can also enjoy their pools and facilities, which really adds to the whole experience.
The hotel itself has so much to offer, especially for families. There are daily kids’ activities, and my son was never bored — there was always something fun planned. The playground is huge and honestly looks futuristic, like something out of a movie. It’s such a dream space for children. They also have a beautiful swimming pool, which makes it even more enjoyable to spend your days there.
I also visited Casa Corona Beach Club, and it was such a vibe. The atmosphere, the food, and the whole setting made it a really memorable experience.
The spa was another highlight — so relaxing and exactly what you need when you’re trying to unwind and take care of yourself. On top of that, the service throughout the hotel was incredible. The staff really made everything feel smooth, welcoming, and special.
It’s honestly just a great place to be with your family. I would highly recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a beautiful beachfront stay with lots of activities, especially if you’re traveling with kids. It truly has everything — location, experiences, and comfort.

GGuest UserEnvironment: As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by the sunset and a refreshing ocean breeze. The hotel is absolutely stunning and massive! The coconut groves, lawns, pool, and sandy beach provide endless photo opportunities – it's just amazing! The room has a small balcony, and when you open the door, the view is expansive.
Facilities: They had a baby playpen and bathtub ready for me. Although some online reviews mentioned the facilities being a bit old, everything I needed was there. Hot water was fine, hairdryer worked well. The only minor issue was the air conditioning wasn't very cold, but it was still acceptable. The small balcony was perfect for drying clothes quickly, which was very convenient.
Hygiene: There were notices on the table about geckos, ants, and insects, but I didn't encounter any bugs during my stay. The cleaning staff were also very efficient. With all my baby's things making a bit of a mess, the auntie quickly tidied everything up for me.
Service: My requests were met very quickly! I called for band-aids, to have dishes cleared, for room cleaning, to order a kids' meal, and for a late check-out – all were handled promptly! A special shout-out to Butler Tudou (Potato) – incredibly enthusiastic, proactive, and provided excellent service! Also, the staff at the pool area were very warm and patient, and they even helped me inflate my swim ring for free.
Another highlight was the complimentary Magnolia photoshoot. The photographer was very professional. I just told him what I wanted, and he quickly found suitable locations and patiently helped me set up props. I initially thought the five complimentary photos would be enough, but after seeing the final shots, I didn't hesitate to pay for more. They made a perfect gift for my baby's first birthday 🎁.
The breakfast and buffet dinner included in the package offered a rich variety of options and tasted great. The noodles for breakfast really suited a Hunan palate, and there were various snacks. Dinner was a DIY hotpot buffet, so we didn't eat out at all these past few days, even though it seems there's a food street nearby, haha.
There were also some parent-child activities, but my baby was too young to participate.
Overall, it exceeded my expectations. For a family trip, it offers great value for money.

It's just a few minutes' walk to the beach, and overall, it was excellent! 👍 You really have to experience it yourself to know how good it is. A big thanks to Sunny for her attentiveness; even during the busy May Day holiday, her replies were quick, and our requests were handled promptly and efficiently!
🏨 **Facilities**: It has a sort of vintage, old-money vibe – spacious, which I really liked. No issues with our stay, and the duvet wasn't too thick! It was just right for sleeping with the AC on at night; adults weren't cold, and the child wasn't hot! Plus, when we asked for a bed rail, the housekeeping staff literally knocked on our door right after we finished speaking. They installed it incredibly fast, without any fuss, and were gone in a flash – unbelievably quick!
🧹 **Cleanliness**: The entire hotel was spotless and refreshing, and room cleaning was very efficient! Sometimes we only needed the trash taken out and nothing else, and a quick word to Sunny was all it took – everything was perfectly arranged.
🌴 **Environment**: It's got a kind of retro American garden aesthetic, definitely a resort feel! The public areas are large and beautiful, and the night view is stunning. The big lawn is absolutely amazing (yyds)! All three pools are lovely, and the children's pool is truly excellent 🛝. The hotel has so many picturesque spots for photos; it felt like we could get all those trending Sanya photo ops right here at the hotel! The value of hotels on Haitang Bay is definitely on the rise.
🍳 **Dining**: Breakfast was very rich, with slight variations each day. The kids' section had plenty of options too, with a dedicated area for babies, as well as large round tables and multi-person tables, perfect for big families. The Western restaurant by the pool was also great and delicious. Ordering takeout was convenient and delivered quickly; we just had to pick it up at the entrance, which I thought was fine, like a little walk 🚶.
🏋️ **Gym**: Very good! It's located near the children's adventure playground. Most of the equipment had usage tutorials, making them simple and easy to operate. Our family of three tried out all the equipment, and the child had even more fun than going out!
👶 **Kids' Club**: The area for younger children is a bit small, but still enough to play in. More toys would be even better. There's another larger one for kids aged 5 and up, which costs extra. Kids can even experience riding horses 🐎 and ostriches right here at the hotel – can you believe it?
📷 Because we had our child with us, we usually only visited one attraction per day and always came back to the hotel for an afternoon nap. We spent a lot of time at the hotel and never felt bored. Even during May Day, it wasn't overly crowded, very orderly, and quiet. There were so many things to do at the hotel: swimming, walking, watching small animals, enjoying the sea, digging in the sand, afternoon tea, playing in the kids' club, riding the mini train, collecting shells, and more. In short, we were all very satisfied, had a very pleasant holiday, and it was excellent value for money 👍. We will definitely come again next time! 🥳

Not only did we pick the right hotel for our family trip to Sanya, but we also received incredibly heartwarming service, which I simply must rave about! We arrived in Sanya on an early flight, prepared to wait until the afternoon for check-in. We had already contacted the hotel beforehand, explaining that we were traveling with seniors and children and hoping for an earlier check-in if possible. Manager Van kept an eye out for clean, vacated rooms for us the day before, and we were checked in within just 10 minutes of arriving – so thoughtful! During our stay, Manager Van quickly and effectively handled all our needs, big and small. We wanted to try local seafood but were worried about tourist traps, so Manager Van recommended a local eatery frequented by residents. The food was delicious, and the prices were very reasonable – much better value than the popular influencer-recommended spots. My child forgot their sand toys, and Manager Van promptly brought over a brand new set of shovels and buckets, which kept my little one happy all afternoon. The level of service was just right – not overly enthusiastic to the point of being awkward, yet always responsive the moment we needed something. Professional and warm, it's truly rare to find such meticulously attentive service. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Sanya, and I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel and Manager Van's amazing service to anyone planning a trip to Sanya. Choosing this place ensures you won't be disappointed!

I was a bit worried based on some online reviews, but after two days, it totally exceeded my expectations. The hotel's surroundings are beautiful, and the location is excellent; you can see the ocean right from the lobby. It has a huge pool and water play area that seamlessly blend into its private beach. While the decor is a bit dated and the facilities are older, the bones of the place are solid. The breakfast buffet was also decent and, for me personally, met my needs. Not far from the hotel are Baishuigu Valley and Yatai Commercial Street, with night markets, BBQ, and restaurants, making dining very convenient. After dinner, strolling back with the sea breeze was both good for digestion and very pleasant. Oh, and the hotel also offers free airport shuttle and duty-free shop buses, which is great. It might have been the off-season, but I was lucky enough to get a free upgrade to a room with an unbeatable sea view. For this price in Yalong Bay, it's excellent value for money. The front desk staff, especially CC, provided very thoughtful service. I'd love to stay here again next time I'm in Yalong Bay.

The hotel is situated in a prime location in Haitang Bay, just a few minutes' walk from the pristine white sand beach, and the ocean views are absolutely stunning.
