Perfect
GGuest UserI have to give this hotel a huge thumbs up! The staff, especially those on duty on the 5th and 6th, were incredibly welcoming. From the moment I walked in until check-in, I felt completely at ease. What really put my mind at ease was the elevator control system on every floor – it felt very secure. And the biggest surprise was the face recognition system for both the elevators and room doors – so high-tech and convenient! My experience was absolutely fantastic, and I'll definitely be back!

__.KennethSo delighted with my stay at the Chaocong Ancient Street branch in Changsha! Tucked away on an old flagstone street, it offers a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle. Step outside and you're surrounded by street food, and it's a short walk to Wuyi Square. The wabi-sabi style decor is chic and perfect for photos. The room comes with a Dyson hairdryer and Le Labo toiletries, and the bedding is so comfortable I slept soundly. The concierge service was attentive and thoughtful, breakfast was plentiful, and they even had a unique 'magic cube' event where you could swap for milk tea. So many thoughtful details! This is definitely my top choice for travel, I'll be staying here again next time.

EEloise L.This is probably the best hotel I’ve stayed at by far. If I come back to Changsha, this will definitely be my go-to hotel from now on. First and foremost, the hotel is clean! That’s my biggest pet peeve when it comes to hotels, and this place exceeded my expectations. The hotel is also themed, so the atmosphere feels much more pleasant and unique compared to a lot of modern hotels. I especially loved the small library space they have. The room itself is spacious, and the layout is perfect. I like that there’s a separation between the toilet area and the shower area. I also appreciate that the windows can be opened for fresh air. Overall, the room is super quiet, which made the stay even more comfortable. The service is impeccable. Check-in was smooth, and they offer free laundry service and complimentary afternoon tea every day during your stay. You can also request bottled water for free, and the minibar is stocked with drinks and snacks that are all complimentary as well. Honestly, I can’t think of a single issue I had during my stay. Highly recommend!

GGuest UserMy best friend and I came to Changsha for a trip, and we chose this guesthouse based on its aesthetic appeal – it truly exceeded our expectations. It's located inside an alley but very close to the entrance, so there's no need to worry about safety. The location is absolutely fantastic; you can walk directly to attractions like Wuyi Square, Huangxing Walking Street, Pozi Street, and Wenheyou. It's also walkable to popular restaurants like Cuiyan Xiaochao Huangrou (Stir-fried Beef), Ben Luobo, and the famous Black Classic Stinky Tofu – incredibly convenient. Regarding the service, the customer service via WeChat was incredibly responsive and helpful, always addressing any questions or concerns. When we checked in, they even helped us with our luggage. Every evening, there's complimentary late-night snack, and the mung bean soup is absolutely delicious. The facilities are also excellent; the washer-dryer combo was very useful. I highly recommend this guesthouse. It excels in safety, photo-friendliness, and convenience.

GGuest UserThe hotel is really cool. I loved it. Very clean, well organized, robots bring you food to your room, near metro station, near the pedestrian area, is in a perfect location. The girl in the lobby reception are super friendly and they will help you in anyway possible. Remember to ask for your free welcome cocktail 😉. Jing made me mine and it was delicious. She was wonderful. Help me out with all the questions I had about transportation, restaurants and guidance in general. She and all her colleagues are doing an amazing job. Even if their English is not the best, they do everything possible to understand you and help you out with all your questions. Highly recommend 100%. Thnx

GGuest UserGetting to Orange Isle is super convenient; you can either walk across Xiangjiang Bridge or take the subway just one stop. It's also only about 3 stops to downtown areas like Wuyi Square. Environment: The surrounding area is a bit so-so, with a few construction sites, but it's very quiet. Service and hygiene were both excellent, making me feel right at home.

GGuest UserBooked this hotel by chance, and it was pretty clean. The hot water came out fast and had good pressure, and the air conditioning was excellent. The rice noodles for breakfast were delicious, definitely worth trying – much better than the Zhou Ji noodles (my personal opinion), which were a complete mess. One minor issue: the toilet splashed water when you sat on it. On the bright side, the subway station is right on the -1 floor, making transportation very convenient.

AAnonymous UserThe service was excellent, and while the room was a bit small, its location was a godsend for tourists. It's super close to Juzizhou Island and Taiping Street – you're practically there the moment you step out. Plus, having a self-service laundry room was incredibly convenient.

GGuest UserApproximate Spend: £84 (756 yuan). Very nicely furnished hotel in a very central area. One of the comfiest if not the comfiest bed I have ever slept in. Great amenities with a mini bar that was replenished with each cleaning and a good hair dryer (which is so important). Good value! The only real issues I could mention were the toiletries (shampoo, shower gel, and conditioner) were named in Chinese and had random, non-indicative English names, so I had to translate to actually pick the correct item. I totally understand why this is the case, but maybe it is worth mentioning for the hotel. The mini fridge just didn’t cool anything, and was more just a cupboard. And only one toilet roll was given at a time, which was not ideal given I was ill throughout my stay. These are all minor issues and certainly don’t detract from my stay.

GGuest UserThe owner is incredibly friendly and accommodating. The room rates are very reasonable, and the place is clean. They even offer airport drop-off service, which is a huge convenience! On my previous visit, my flight was significantly delayed, and I couldn't confirm my exact arrival time. Yet, the owner kindly waited up for me until 3 AM! This is my second stay here, and I'll definitely be back!
