Hotels near City Center, Dusseldorf

I was on a business trip to Dusseldorf and my local colleague recommended Clayton Hotel. The front desk staff was very warm and friendly, and introduced the hotel facilities one by one. The room was not small and clean. The only regret was that it was a big bed with two single beds put together. The hotel breakfast was also very good, and it was the best choice for this business trip. In addition, the hotel is located 15 minutes walk from the train station, and there are many Asian food outside the hotel. Highly recommended!

Good location if you use Düsseldorf Hbf is your priority, as it is just a 3-5 minute walk from the trains and trams, making it perfect for early departures or late arrivals. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The room was clean but not very spacious, however I had a small balcony which was a nice addition. The furniture leans towards ”dated” but still very acceptable for me. Rooms on the street side can be quite noisy despite having good windows. If you are a light sleeper, ask for a room facing the courtyard or bring some earplugs. Breakfast was fine and kept stocked while it was very busym

We booked this hotel to attend the Medica fair in Dusseldorf .The hotel located near the centeal railway station that is very convenient to travel to the exhibision by train. There are also a lot of international food restaurants around the hotel within 2 Kms. like Viatnamese fod , Chinese food , Thai food , Japsnese food.

Helped colleagues who went abroad to book this hotel. Because the booking must be paid with a visa card, and the colleague in charge of the booking happened to have no visa credit card, so I came to help the booking and deducted the money the next day after booking (note: not freezing the pre-sale right, but according to Direct deduction of the marked costs). Since the hotel is in Germany, the settlement is in Euros, and through my vasa dual-currency credit card, I deducted US dollars from the credit card. For the three houses I booked (divided into two bookings), USD 398.67 and USD 670.36 were deducted. But what I didn’t expect was that when my colleague arrived in Germany and checked into the hotel, the store said, “The cardholder who deducted the room payment is not there. What if he doesn’t recognize the deduction?” (Actually, when I booked the room, After entering the three digits on the back of the credit card, it means that the payment is accepted. This is an internationally accepted method.) Therefore, the store resolutely requires the guest, that is, my colleague to repay the money on the spot, and promises to deduct my room fee Return it to me. Two days later, the room rate returned. However, due to changes in the exchange rate between the Euro and the U.S. dollar, the store returned the money to me in Euros and automatically converted to U.S. dollars for settlement on my card. They were only 380.54 U.S. dollars and 639.88 U.S. dollars respectively. In other words, for the two bookings, the USD refunded to me was 48.61 USD less than when the payment was deducted a few days ago! When booking with Ctrip, it was clearly stated that it was a direct deduction, but the store did not admit it. This caused me to lose nearly 50 US dollars for no reason, equivalent to nearly 400 yuan! Please Ctrip to solve it and compensate me for my unprovoked loss!

Have to say the room is okay especially the toilet and shower ,but only one curtain in between is not too pleasant for shower water . Blanket i like -warm and light ,not too big for complicated handling. Surprised me no table no sofa no chair in the room ,and have been told that in case i need i should ask the receiption to change the room -it is the first time to hear .Anyway i went thru … Location is good ,very handy to go to the hbf Dusseldorf ,while there is a lake in front -quite some swans and wild geese /ducks on the water ,very nice to watch them. Only 400m to walk to reach the metro station ,then going to many destinations; From Airport to the hotel ,quite short distance ,by train also possible it you do not have too much luggage. By walking distance also can reac the Japanese Street ,as well the king street … Giving a thumbs up ref to the breakfast - kinds of rolls /bread,cheese ,salad,sausage ,museli,tea,coffee ,yogurt ,whatever you would like to have ,really more than plenty ,and also always seats available ,as the capacity is really big enough ,never will forget this breakfast ! Off course room rate reached the roof but can understand everyone will take this advantage to charge ,as hotel is also some kind of business! Will definitely stay here again for the future ! Recommend you to choose this Holiday Inn -the niu tab Dusseldorf ! Thanks !

Nice location in Little Tokyo of Düsseldorf. Friendly staff. Clean and modern hotel. Breakfast was good and you have many choice. Nice bar and the have family board games.

I had booked this hotel through Saturday until Tuesday. The stay was very pleasant. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I felt as if they had known me for years. Very accommodating the only down fall was that the pool was not working which we actually booked this hotel for. So very disappointed when the email came through to state that the pool is currently out of order. For the rest I would say this is a very good hotel and very close to the city centre.

The value for money was decent. The accommodation is only 10 minutes from the train station, and everything is within walking distance. If you're just looking for a place to stay for one night, this is an option. However, I wouldn't recommend it for multiple nights. Our room was very dusty and covered in cobwebs, and the curtains seemed to have never been washed. Friendly staff.

travelling to Germany is, in general, like taking a time machine to mid last century. You can find in modern hotels here what anywhere else would be surplus electronics, if not vintage already. With that, the place is fine. I asked for bath tub and i also got that.

Everything was fine, as expected! The location right in the main train station is unbeatable. Perfect for one night with an early departure, thanks!
