Hotels near Eisbach Wave, Munich

It takes 5min from the train station to the hotel. And there are shops nearby. It’s really convenient to go there. The overall service is quite good

The hotel's location is excellent, easily accessible from the main train station or city center via the 19 tram. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and accommodating, always trying their best to meet guests' needs, such as providing a portable water heater when requested. The room itself was spacious and clean, with great amenities, and the bed was particularly comfortable. The lighting was bright, and the touch-screen control system was very convenient to use. A nice touch was the complimentary mini-bar, which included a bottle of beer and various soft drinks. The bathroom had excellent water pressure and a consistent hot water supply, making for a pleasant experience. But the real highlight was the breakfast. The spread was incredibly diverse, offering a wide range of hot and cold dishes to suit every taste. Overall, my stay was very satisfying. I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit and highly recommend it.

Hotel in a quiet area, with supermarket and cafeterias a few meters away. The hotel was clean , it had a small refrigerator , in our case touched us the last floor and had no air conditioning but if two fans that helped enough , they were very warm days . The hotel is nicely located near the main square thus it is a plus. On your way back to the hotel, you will be passing by nice international food selection: viet, Italian, Indian and even two Afghani restaurants. Amd if you miss lne of course, you got your kebab shop! The deal breaker for me, the welcoming deamor of the reception staff. A mixed bag, half were smiling and half is long faced. My advice if smiling and welcoming guests isnt for you, one must quit a customer facing job. And the lady that checked us in has refused to add my husband's holiday in loyalty number. Her reasoning, since you booked using a third party, one must not earn the point. Okay but actually another of her colleague is willing to add the details, just in case we spent something in the bar. Why is it points cant be earn... same concept like flights.. they aren't fussy abt you earning yoir miles. You are the same person at the end of the day. Amenities: breakfast is sumptuous and varied selection although similar everyday. However reception here are way friendlier and jolly. Their gym is properly equipped. I am also delighted with their housekeeping, they do their daily rounds and the lobby is freshen up to. Compared to a marriot hotel which uses a robot, we're lobby edges are so filty. So kudos to the housekeeping team! I am happy though that my husband doesnt have a company site in Germany, I will take checking in France/Poland/India and china any day. They are just way welcoming. The attitude just simply put me off, it shouldn't be a German thing as we ate in a German restaurant in the main square, they are nice over there.

It's a little far from Munich Central Station. However, if you take the subway, you can get to Lehel Station in 5 minutes from the central station, and from Exit A you can reach the hotel in about 5 minutes. The location was very quiet. There was a small air conditioner and fan in the room I stayed in, so I couldn't keep the room at the right temperature. The whole room was very clean.

Everything was amazing, staff to location, to breakfast. Only thing that was kinda poopy was the shower handle was broken so the shower head kept falling but other than that it was great

The hotel's hygiene was good and the staff were friendly. However, the facilities were a bit lacking; there wasn't even a tissue box in the room. This seems to be a common issue with The Niu brand hotels, not just this particular one. The hotel is located near the Olympic Park and BMW Headquarters, and you can walk to the BMW Museum. There are subway stations both to the east and west of the hotel, but they're both about a kilometer away, which is a bit of a walk.

Nearby MCD which is a plus however poor handling skills to big groups as we have met 2-3 groups of more than 100pax in total who queued for breakfast at one time. They should have housed them in separate ball room or location instead of having breakfast with other guests. 

This hotel has a good standard, with well-equipped rooms and clean, modern bathrooms. Overall, it feels tidy and well-maintained. The breakfast is excellent, offering a wide variety of dishes — especially the sausages, which are really delicious. However, the location is quite far from the S-Bahn, U-Bahn, and tram stations, though fortunately there are a few bus lines passing in front of the hotel. The main downside is the parking policy. Guests should be allowed to park for free, but the hotel charges €19 per day, which is quite expensive. I only parked for less than 30 minutes just to drop off my luggage, yet they still charged the full rate — very disappointing and unfair.

Unfortunately, the room (404) had a very intense mothball/naphthalene smell. But like VERY INTENSE. It was noticeable even before entering and was strong enough that all of my belongings absorbed the odor. It was quite unbearable at times and significantly affected the overall experience. I felt bad going out because I had the perception I smelled of naphthalene all the time. Aside from that, the hostel itself is beautiful, modern, and very clean, with great storage and well-maintained facilities. The common areas are really cool and thoughtfully designed, and although the kitchen is small, it’s perfectly functional. I hope management looks into the ventilation or cleaning products used, because otherwise this would be a very enjoyable place to stay.
