"Excellent service. We didn't receive new towels. We weren't aware that we were supposed to hang the tag on the doorknob. Reception hadn't told us this. We were offered a free breakfast for the inconvenience. Friendly staff."

"We came from Ireland to Germany and stayed at NH Hotel Dortmund. During our stay, Caroline stood out as the most professional member of staff. Having visited many countries and stayed in numerous hotels, we can confidently say that her level of professionalism is exceptional. She speaks both English and German fluently and consistently delivers a high standard of service with great attention to detail. We strongly believe that Caroline truly deserves to be in a managerial or assistant managerial position, and we highly recommend dealing with her for any service."

"Hotel is in good location near to train station and shopping area. We had a triple room which is clean. However washroom ventilation fan not working also air conditioner not working, we told hotel but no technician fixing it. Hotel reception Miss Victoria was nice and offer us free breakfast as compensation.  It would be good if there is kettle in the room form boiling water."

"Function as city hotel, clean, beds ok, shower small but ok, bed linen and towels white and clean, breakfast too good, unfortunately the chair is out of operation and it is tiring to rise 2 floors stairs."

"It is clear that the experience went pretty well. The staff was very quick and efficient with their tasks, and they got us checked in quickly. Afterwards, we found our rooms to be rather hygienic and well-kept, although the Sofa-Bed we bought was rather small. However, we did cook some food, which got filled with smoke, so we did trigger the smoke alarm. Even then, the fire management crew arrived quickly to shut off the alarm and open the windows to remove the smoke. This really just proves how effective the sensors are and how efficient the staff were. In terms of facilities, the gym room was really nice, with all sorts of machines and weights and mats. Also, the Breakfast was really good. they had a variety of vegetarian and vegan options, such as Soy Milk alternatives. Finally, the location was very good, it was near safe parking in a cheap, locked parking lot, only EURO14 per 24 hrs, as well as some tourist attractions like bustling streets and a football museum and merchandise shops nearby. Overall, given the location and services and facilities provided, this is definitely a value for money hotel and a reliable place to stay. 10/10."

"Nice and comfortable room for a short stay especially if you have an early or late train. Check in was pretty easy through a machine, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious enough and clean, but the AC was too weak for the summer heat even when set to the lowest temperature. The surrounding areas were also unpleasant, lots of intoxicated people and junkies, but it is common for any area surrounding a main train station in Germany."

"The room floor could use a better cleaning, and the mattress was a bit soft. For a two-night stay, it was good value for money. The front desk staff were very friendly. If you're a female traveler and prefer not to stay in a mixed-gender dorm, you can ask at check-in if a female-only room is available. Overall, it was a good experience."

"We felt really comfortable; everyone was super nice, from the concierge to the service staff and reception. It was about a 5-8 minute walk from the main train station and easy to find. The breakfast was delicious; they kept refilling it, even right before closing time. The hotel's dog, Flora, did the best job :-) The room was very nice and clean!!! Beautiful courtyard and delicious gins at the bar. This is now our favorite hotel in Dortmund. We highly recommend it."
