The West Market, originally named "Lirenshi" in the early Sui Dynasty, stood southwest outside the imperial city next to Kaiyuan Gate—the gateway along the ancient Silk Road. It was the unparalleled golden hub for global trade in the prosperous Tang Dynasty. For three hundred years, it monopolized foreign trade and served as the prime international commerce center of Chang’an and the wider world. Its trading norms and multicultural business forms evolved through dynasties, growing ever more prosperous.
Carrying forward the legacy of the Reverse Silk Road, our establishment draws inspiration from Chang’an’s historic Lirenshi. Nestled in New Cairo in a tranquil enclave far from bustling downtown crowds, we provide comprehensive support for Chinese merchants traveling to Egypt, handling all travel and local affairs on their behalf. Unlike standard hotels or one-stop agencies, we recreate the all-in-one business lodge model of ancient market inns:
- Elegant guest rooms equipped with full fiber-optic internet coverage, plus private airport transfer services;
- Daily conveniences including laundry, shoe cleaning, and personal tour guides;
- An authentic Chang’an-style restaurant serving classic Shaanxi and Sichuan cuisine, available for casual meals and private banquets alike;
- Dedicated private meeting rooms and business offices fitted with full printing and scanning equipment for negotiations and document work;
- Varied leisure zones featuring billiards, a tea lounge, chess & card rooms, and a gym, ideal for meetings, rest and relaxation amid busy business trips;
- Full-spectrum business services such as visa assistance, trade inspection arrangements, and company registration in Egypt.
We strive to accommodate every guest’s request to the fullest. Our management team is warm, generous and attentive, offering thoughtful care at every step to safeguard your entire journey in Egypt.

Great
MMiaomiaomiao6662026The rooms are incredibly spacious. The front desk staff and security were excellent, and the breakfast was delicious. It's super convenient, just a 10-minute drive to the exhibition center. The front desk lady was incredibly nice, and I had a pleasant experience communicating with the front desk gentleman when I cancelled two days of my booking.
GGuest UesrRoom is nicely designed and the reception lady (Hodan) and evening reception (Ahmed) are very pleasant, kind and decent. However, housekeeping services are temperamental and one cleaning lady is particularly unreliable. The rest of the cleaning team (Hana and Hadiya) are pleasant and do the job well. Hana and Hadiya are the super stars in housekeeping team.
GGuest UserI was attracted by the photos.
The new room looked cleaner, mainly because it was newly renovated. However, it still had a smell. I kept the windows open every day, even though it was close to the road and quite noisy. But I was tired enough to sleep.
There was no hotel-like service.
No room cleaning, no clothes hangers, no hairdryer, and no coffee or tea packets.
Initially, there was no water either; you had to ask for it. There was a limit of two bottles per day. The tap water couldn't be boiled or drunk because it had a bleach smell, like something out of 1990s China. There were no duvet covers. After two days, I complained, and they provided a duvet cover, but it didn't feel like pure cotton and had static electricity.
When I changed rooms, there were duvet covers and a few plastic clothes hangers.
The room had kitchenware. The suite I stayed in initially had brand new utensils, but in the separate room, the utensils were very dirty, even unwashed.
Overall, the facilities are quite good. In Egypt, the higher the price, the more expensive things are, so having these facilities is already quite impressive.
However, the service can't compare to what you'd find in China. If you want better service, go to the five-star hotel next door for RMB 1000-6000 per night.
GGuest UserMy stay at Renaissance Cairo Mirage City was nothing short of amazing. I always, always felt well taken care of by the staff here, and, in particular, I must highlight the staff at the breakfast buffet as I always found them to be so genuinely kind and considerate. The rooms were also quite spacious and the architecture of the hotel reminded me of Paris which I loved. In addition, the hotel provides a complimentary shuttle for airport pick-ups and drop-offs, which is incredibly helpful as I don't think Cairo Airport is the easiest for tourists to get out of with all the people haggling you for a ride.
GGuest UserThe room was exactly as pictured. It was very clean, and there was a pleasant fragrance as soon as I entered, which was very comforting. We booked a two-bedroom room, and it even had two toilets and a super spacious courtyard! The kitchen and living room were also beautiful. The staff were incredibly nice, especially Bassel. On the day we checked out, we left our belongings at the hotel, and when we returned to retrieve them that evening, he provided all the necessary services, including bathroom amenities and drinking water. We really loved this hotel. The hotel is a bit far from the city center, but it's away from the noise and crowds of the old town. Using a taxi app was no problem at all; it only cost a little over 200 Egyptian pounds to get to the city center. I highly recommend staying here.
GGuest UserWe would definitely come back again! We have enjoyed staying at Salam 275 hotel during our visit to Cairo. The room we booked was exactly as it’s described online, the stuff are very nice and respectful and they go above and beyond to help their gusts with everything they need
And specially MOHEMADE RIFAD who work at the front desk is a supper genuine, very special nice man! The first night we checked in at their hotel, we did not have any Egyptian currency yet to purchase anything, and thus, he went ahead and paid for all of our meal from his own money… (and offer to help if theirs anything else that we need) and we returned his money to him the next day.
They assisted us with everything we need at the hotel and or outside, directing us touring the city, places to go and even find us the honest taxi drivers that we can use. We appreciate their hospitality
__cm1395808****The room was huge. The hotel looked very upscale, but the details were poorly done; it felt like they spent millions decorating a rural villa. What a waste—they used Hermès materials to make a cheap, low-quality product.
GGuest UserWe stayed here for two nights on two separate bookings, We had requested on the first day of check-in to join the beds, but they had not done it on the first day, and neither on the second day. They came and handled it at 8:30pm on the second night. The TV was not working on the first night and they told me they would let the IT department fix it on the second day, but that did not happen either. When we were leaving for our day out on the second day, we told the reception to handle everything while we are away, I guess they completely forgot.
RRamyFirst room smelled like cigarettes despite picking no smoking. Second room was an upgrade but it was actually the upgrade I originally paid for. My first room was a downgrade.
PPetr AbramovSurprisingly, my apartments were with two bedrooms and a living room that I didn't expect. Good surprise. All clean, staff friendly, there are laundry services. I'll come back again when I'm in Cairo again. Recommendation for owner: Add to the fans, batteries to all the remotes and more towels.
