Hotels near Muizz Street, Cairo

I'm not sure why this hotel gets so many recommendations. In terms of room size and cleanliness, it was the most disappointing hotel of our trip! First, I wouldn't recommend the balcony room. It's tiny, and all you get is a balcony that overlooks a dirty, messy, enclosed alleyway, offering no view whatsoever. Second, the room truly is small. If you're traveling with two 28-inch suitcases, opening them up is a challenge. You might be able to fit one 28-inch suitcase by the window, but the other 24-inch one would have to stay by the door. And you'd have to close them up every time you wanted to open the door to enter or exit. Third, the bathroom drain had a really strong unpleasant smell, especially after being closed up all night. Even running the fan didn't help; it would just switch off after a short while. The hotel is quite new, and the overall service attitude was impeccable. However, breakfast was very basic, offering just coffee and tea with very limited choices – hardly any fruit or bread! It definitely doesn't compare to another hotel we stayed at for the same price. Also, the elevator doesn't go directly to your floor. It stops halfway between floors, so you have to climb a half-flight of stairs with your luggage.

It is in the center of Cairo, close to all the shops. There are plenty of restaurants to eat at. The receptionists lack English, so communication is a bit difficult. But they are friendly. The rooms are cleaned, but we have to ask them to clean. It would be better to have a cupboard to store our clothes, since I stayed 7 days.

Very nice boutique hotel. Tucked inside burstling live near khan al khelili bazaar. Everybody was helpful including Ibrahim Al Mawardi..we got early check in. The room is big enough for three of us. Pleasant and simple breakfast. Overall is good and very nice experience for us. Student of Universit Al Azhar is everywhere and really closed to Masjid nearby.

I had a very satisfying stay here. First off, the location is excellent – right in the bustling heart of downtown Cairo, yet surprisingly quiet. It's just a 10-15 minute walk to the Egyptian Museum and a nearby metro station, and about a 20-minute stroll to the Nile River. There are plenty of restaurants and bakeries around, making dining and shopping very convenient. The room had a fully equipped kitchen, which was great for making breakfast, and there was a common lounge area on our floor. Getting to Cairo Airport by Uber only took about 30 minutes.

Great thing about this hotel was the price. If you’re not after luxury but all of the central location with a comfy bed and this is the place to be. The name says it all, it is antique, it is old, it is dusty. The Windows don’t fit and it’s very noisy from outside traffic if you have a front facing room, then we would recommend highly the use of earplugs. The staff were fantastic. They couldn’t help us enough and their attention and advice was above and beyond. Breakfast was basic but it did the job and they have a menu for food to be ordered 24 hours a day if you get hungry.

Service is quite good,excellent.and the staff here are gorgeous. Love to visit again.and by the way,Moustafa Toulan did a great help when staying here. Thanks a lot. Nice people friendly staff and beautiful country.

The shower was also hot water and A / C was also attached, and it was very comfortable as a cheap dormitory. It was not a two-stage bed, but a single, and it was well selected and there was no insect. There was a drink shop in front of the hotel. Needless to say, the biggest experience would be an elevator.

Very good. The boss is very attentive. Get up early to prepare breakfast for me They are a pair of grandpa and grandma Take good care of me I think they feel safe there. But remember to bring earplugs There are prayer sounds nearby You may be disturbed at night

Because I got the wrong address, I ended up wandering around for a really long time with my huge suitcase (I couldn't roll it because of the cobblestone streets), and the taxi fare was expensive.

We arrived very very early in morning because of delayed flight but the check in was seamless and room was ready and we managed breakfast. Cleanliness is excellent for its style and location which we enjoyed very much. Location is perfect if you want to feel for real non tourist Cairo and all major points of interest are walkable distances. It’s not the Hilton or Ritz but it is somewhere where you will feel at home. Due to cultural differences you might want to stock up on tissue rolls and bottles 😅. Hi recommended and will stay again without any thought. The staff at Breakfast were especially warm and welcoming at every breakfast and the one dinner we had there, thank you Fouad.
