"I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service throughout my visit. The room was clean and comfortable and the location was convenient. Every sightseeing and location was around the corner. The only small downside was that the shower area was a bit narrow. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would happily recommend this hotel."
"Lovely hotel except strong cigerette smell when coming out of the elevator to go to your room. No cigerette smell in the room, good amenities friendly staff"
"I'll break this down a bit into the above 4 sections:
Cleanliness 5/5 - was awesome and had absolutely no issues at all.
Location 4/5 - I put this as a 4 simply because its not right on the doorstep to the Tourist area. Was a about a 10 minute walk. I always prefer to jist book one metro station from the popular spots when traveling as its way cheaper and I like to walk around anyway. Please note Omonia is a bit dodgey compared to Plako (generally there are homeless everywhere though). Just Athens in general.
Service 5/5 - 24 hour staffed front deak who can help with everything. Just msg them on WhatsApp. All fluent in English and happy to help. Shout out to George for giving me good advise on how to get to the airport super early (metro starts 5:30am).
Amenities 5/5 - I always always make sure I get a place with a washing machine, especially when its 38 degrees out! That paired with the awesome air conditioning and full kitchen (stove, frying pan, pots etc) made the stay really relaxed and pleasant."
"Exceptional! As we all know, Greece is known for stairs. So once you get through steps to the lobby there is elevators. The service was exceptional and beyond. I’ll start with welcoming you, a clean cool room With excellent beds and air conditioning! Yes needed it in MAY. The cleaning crew cleaned and left it like new each time. I stayed 5 nights and well located near metro and walking distance to museums.
I must add they do have a sauna for added fee. Their daily breakfast was amazing, great spread and tasty. Coffee was wonderful. Italian. The last day, they knew I was leaving at 6 am, they boxed me a travel breakfast! I was taken on how special and thoughtful that was. I felt safe and cared after especially being a solo traveler and a female. Service and staff beyond accommodating. I’d highly recommend this property and their team!"
"I think this is an amazing hostel especially for the price. All the amenities are new, and the room and bathroom is very clean. The beds are comfy and bottom bunks have drawers under, plus you each have a very big locker with a shelf. You get a key for your locker so no need for a lock. The shower has great water pressure and there’s all in one shampoo/shower gel available and a big towel. The AC is perfect, and you can change settings on the little electronic panel in your room.
The kitchen is well stocked with all the cutlery, pans and dishes you might need and with microwaves, kettle, toaster, two stoves and three fridges. There’s plenty of space to sit to have your food downstairs!
Reception were also super nice and helped me with info on what I wanted to see/do and lent me a cable for my kindle. Thanks guys :)
By the way, the neighbourhood is not as bad as YouTube videos made it. I’ve walked as a solo female traveler at 12am a few times through it, and it was alright and there were other women walking late at night by themselved. Just don’t be downright careless and walk with purpose. The hostel is really not far from the main road and those are perfectly fine - it’s only the area near the metro I found a bit sus which is why I generally just took the bus or metro from another station."
"The location of this property is excellent, very close to the metro station and within easy walking distance of many major attractions. The room was spotlessly clean and thoughtfully equipped with most of the amenities I needed during my stay."
"The location is a bit hidden. I would recommend to call an Uber or taxi if you come over at late evening.
There are lots of restaurants choice around the area. The room is very tidy and clean but if you are a noise sensitive person it is better to get your earplugs:)"
"Very easy self-check in yet responsive support via WhatsApp.
Clean and comfortable space. Nice location: 10-15 min walk to archaeological museum which was one of my favorite stops in Athens; and a nice 30-ish minute walk to acropolis and even closer to city center.
Nice cafes, bars and restaurants that are open until late nearby as well.
Only nit-picky thing is that the elevator is loud, so if people are using it at night to check-In /out with luggage, you’ll hear it (and feel it). Strong petroleum smell most days in stairwell/ lobby as well, but not in the rooms. Rooms were very cleanly and comfortable. I’d definitely stay here again.
Highly recommend!"
"Hotel room is not big, location is a little distance from the city center, but fortunately, you can walk for a while, breakfast type is general, but tastes good, service is very good"

Amazing
GGuest UserMiraMe has the BEST shower we have ever experienced. THE BEST SHOWER! It comes with four different ' heads ' and the water pressure is extremely powerful so taking a shower after a hot day in Athens was an absolute joy. Usually the rainshower found in most hotels is weak, but MiraMe's jets are very forceful and steady water temperature. The other three ' heads ' are one for the chest, one for the butt and one for the legs. Then there is also one separate hand held shower head on the side. The shower room is spacious and drainage is smooth, and the door seals perfect so there is no worry of a leak. We cannot claim to be hotel experts but for the 30+ odd years of travelling and having stayed in over 60 hotels in many cities, we can vow loud and clear that MiraMe has really sourced the BEST shower model, and other hotels, even other leading hotels in the world should dump theirs and change them into MiraMe's.
Locationwise, MiraMe also is very good. The main shopping districts are just 10 mins walk away where you can find famous brands as well as plenty of shoe shops. In the area are major bus stops , great variety of restaurants, cafes, ice cream parlours, pharmacies and other nice hotels.
The room we had booked is ' deluxe family room with balcony ' that has a short flight of stairs leading to an attic for the 3rd person. It is a nice nook up there for some privacy with a bed and a sofa and an individual air con that provides a comfy temp. The balcony is small and not much view so we hardly used it. Breakfast is provided up on the rooftop bar cum lounge, where a young staff manned the place and served freshly made breakfast cooked to each guest's order every morning. The rooftop has a nice open view of the Acropolis and has very nice updated music that is cool but not too loud and wild.
They also have a bar on the G/F serving drinks. The staff are all young and pleasant, polite and helpful and they try their best to help with restaurant bookings and recommendations etc.
MiraMe is a clean and modern boutique hotel that provides sufficient toiletries to make the stay comfy and carefree. Housekeeping is discreet and the bedding is all clean and white, bath and hand towels and floors and things we touch are basically clean. Again, we cannot praise enough their wonderful shower that has to be the BEST in the whole world.
The hotel is in a quiet street but in a very safe neighbourhood, so even if you return late everyone feels very secure and safe.
GGuest UserGreat hotel for the price I paid. It was clean and had everything I needed. Good views of the Acropolis. It is located a short walk from Monastiraki Station. Room was spacious, clean and quiet despite being in a busy location. Breakfast was sufficient and tasty. I would stay here again!
GGuest UserTraveling from London with a 19-hour layover in Athens, I arrived at the hotel around 9 PM and had a flight to Shanghai the next day at 1 PM. I chose this hotel primarily for its excellent location, being very close to the Acropolis and within walking distance. Even with a short layover, I could easily fit in a half-day tour of the Acropolis the next morning. The overall check-in process was smooth, and it was a perfect choice for an overnight stopover to explore Athens.
GGuest UserGreat location, clean room. Sadly there was a night club / live music until 2am lucky we had been awake very early to fly so just about managed to get to sleep. Maybe worth checking this before booking if you have a room at the back.
Terrace very good view
SsamanthalummmmI just spent 4 nights at Bedbox Hostel in Athens, and it was a fantastic experience. The location is super convenient, the beds are comfy and clean, and the common areas have a really friendly vibe. The staff were incredibly helpful, always ready with great local tips. It's excellent value for money, and I highly recommend it for backpackers and budget travelers.
YYejinshenqiuGreat service and spacious rooms. The place is generally clean and tidy, with a desk for working, which is a big plus. There are plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby, and transportation is quite convenient.
AAlexandraI traveled to Athens for a business reason. The room was in the center, spacious near shops for coffee and food. It provides paid parking right next to it, so you don't have to look for a place. The service is amazing and the staff is very kind!! I would definitely choose it again!!!
GGuest UserIt was a good stay for the price. Close to the station, towels are exchanged every day, and there is a cheap and delicious kebab shop right by the side (diagonally in front). The man at the front desk was very kind.
However, the location is not very good first. The road from the station to the hotel is not so worried if it is not midnight, but it is not recommended for women. And if you go back to the hotel and go to the right about 3 blocks, you get to the dangerous zone of the Manila slums. There are all kinds of drug addicts.
And there is no shampoo or toothbrush in the room. Then, there is no shower curtain, so the toilet becomes rusty even if it enters how well.
But you can forgive me if you think about the price. Such a hotel.
