This hostel is fantastic! The owners are two sisters who are incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. They speak both Chinese and English. You can ask them for recommendations on food, drinks, and activities in the city, and they can also help you book cars and guides for trips to the volcano and waterfalls. The hostel environment is great. I highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Malang.

I've stayed at many hostels while traveling around the world, and this is the best. The Snooze Malang staff, in particular, are even more dedicated to service than other Snooze teams. They welcome guests warmly and are always ready to help. The garden is peaceful and beautiful. There are many restaurants nearby, and even a small traditional market is within walking distance, making it convenient for exploring. It's also within walking distance of the train station. Although it's a hostel, it's a quiet place to rest. The only downside is that the shower water pressure is weak. They clean the rooms daily and even every other minute, and they even lift the beds to clean them daily. I highly recommend this place.

Im was very happy with this hotel. I wanted to stay longer in Malang only because I liked the service of this team . Very friendly and helpful. The best breakfast I have ever tried. They have surprised me with the high quality. Always clean and location is good. Thank you 101 Malang Team .

The environment here is great, perfect for families with kids looking for a relaxing vacation. We stayed for two days and were extremely satisfied. The room was comfortable, a lake-view room where we could feed the goldfish right from our window. We also enjoyed cycling around the resort with the kids. In the evenings, there were vendors passing by our room selling delicious snacks, which the kids absolutely loved. We all thought it was a fantastic trip!

We experienced a delay during check-in because the housekeeping wasn't finished yet. Eventually, we got a room (they said it was an upgraded type) but it had twin beds, even though we originally booked a queen bed. The facilities are good, just missing a laundry bag :( Oh, and the swimming pool is actually great because it's spacious and long, but the chlorine is too strong, which makes it uncomfortable for the eyes and mouth, even though the water in Malang should be fresh 😬 The location is very strategic, though it's a bit confusing to find the entrance as it's behind Transmart.

The hotel itself is in the city centre and within a mall which is convenient but it can get very crowded (and jammed) on weekends. The staff are polite and understanding. We had to pay 100k IDR deposit for our rooms but since we were carrying sleeping kids, they let us check into the rooms first. Room is clean but old and basic. The room does not have safe deposit box, unmovable shower head. Basic amenities are dental kit, sanitary bag, shower cap, and lotion. Shampoo and shower gel are 2-in-1 and stuck on the wall. There’s only bath towel (no hand towel). Sound-proofing can be improved since the corridor is not carpeted. Breakfast is free for kids 5 and below. Taste-wise it’s ok. Apart from egg station, salad, waffles and bakery section, the rest are very much Indonesian style.

Booked a standard room for one night, but they gave me a better room as the ran out of standard ones, so a bit of a plus? Room was clean, bathroom was clean as well so definitely recommend. The only issue I had was that like most tourist I am doing the Tumpak Sewu Waterfall/mt bromo / ijen tour and that means early start but there was a group of Indonesian tourists which were extremely loud from between 20:00 to 02:00 there need to be signs about quiet hours and enforced because it causes a lot of sleep issues for others. So my suggestion keep a pair of earplugs or noise cancelling headphones (what I did) and I could still hear them a bit but eventually fell asleep.

The hotel is located next to the main road in the city center, which is very convenient to find. It is about one kilometer away from the train station. There are many restaurants on the road above the train station. The hotel room is standard and big enough with a bathtub, but it's too old and poorly maintained. It looks a bit dirty and needs to be renovated.

Very clean, the boss is very nice, both are very nice, the location is very convenient, very close to the train station, suitable for friends who are going to Ijen next stop. I strongly recommend everyone to stay here, and I will choose here next time I come to Malang. Oh, by the way, the laundry service here is really good, the clothes are fragrant, folded neatly, and packed well in bags. The price is very cheap, only 6 yuan per kilogram 😆

The room is fine but it doesn’t look very clean, they should put more effort into cleaning the sheets and the pillow cases, besides that, everything was great. Great location, great services, and great food.
