I had a pleasant stay at this hotel during my business trip. The location is excellent, with easy access to business districts, restaurants, and convenience stores. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, making it easy to work remotely and attend online meetings. The bed was comfortable, ensuring a good night’s rest after a busy day. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to assist. Breakfast offered a good variety of local and international dishes, providing a great start to the day.

Good for a short simple stay. But the noise-proof is very bad. You can hear youngsters talking loudly in their rooms past midnight even though you shut your doors. Food is standard. Quite a walk from the ferry terminal and a distance from eateries.

I recently stayed at Planet Holiday Hotel Batam for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. One of the highlights of my stay was being pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a suite, which made the trip even more comfortable and memorable. The suite was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, with everything I needed for a relaxing stay. The hotel’s location is excellent and one of its biggest advantages. It’s conveniently surrounded by shopping malls, plenty of food options, convenience stores, and Batam’s vibrant nightlife, making it easy to explore the area without travelling far. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist with a smile. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the overall service exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for a hotel that offers great value, a strategic location, comfortable rooms, and excellent hospitality, I would definitely recommend Planet Holiday Hotel Batam. Hotel is great. Breakfast is good. The only thing was while I was at the swimming pool, the anti-slip mats were not extended all the way to the 2nd Jacuzzi… i slipped and fell after I came out of the jacuzzi, just before I reached the anti-slip mats. If only there had been just one more piece of mat, I would not have slipped…

This is a pleasant hotel located near Harbour Bay, although it is not within comfortable walking distance. The food and service were both very good. A special mention goes to the chef preparing the fried noodles—they were outstanding, and I would happily return just to enjoy that dish again. The guest room was comfortable, but the furniture showed noticeable signs of wear and would benefit from refurbishment or replacement. The swimming pool access felt a little unusual, as the entrance is located next to the restaurant, while the changing rooms are quite a distance away, making it less convenient for guests. The gym is spacious, which is a great feature. However, many of the machines were out of order, so maintaining or replacing the equipment would significantly improve the fitness facilities.

Service was good, staff were attentive. However upkeep of room windows can be better, it was moulding slightly. Also, got assigned to a smoking floor though I requested for a non smoking room… and was unable to change rooms. But they offered dehumidification service.

Clean room n toilet , reliable front desk service and nice view of Pacific Hotel n New Park. Better can provide in house breakfast corner.

I enjoyed the accessibility to Grand ESKA spa. The breakfast buffet was simple yet enjoyable and delicious. The staffs are friendly and helpful. Appreciated the front desk team for remembering us by face and asking how our day was daily. The hotel was refurbished. Even though old, the bed was good, firm and new and room was kept clean. The lift was rather dingy but it still got us up and down safely. Lastly, i personally enjoyed the quiet corners of the hotel. Loved the fact that our level was “child free” hence there werent kids shouting in rooms. I love children, but the hotel’s particular policy of no child in the room type we booked was pleasantly surprising. Will returned. Note: spa experience was on point too.
