I was also happy to receive a welcome drink there! However, it seems this area is a bit tricky for Grab bike pickups. When I ordered one, I had to walk a short distance to the pickup point."

"Originally, I had planned to stay in Canggu for surfing 🏄, but then decided to go to Waterbom. It's a bit far from Kuta, and with Bali's traffic in August, it takes at least an hour to get to Kuta. The hotel was bigger than I expected, and the facilities are quite complete, with a pool and a bar, though the happy hour in the afternoon was a bit odd. There are free classes every day. It's also convenient for surfing; it's about a 5-minute walk to the beach down the road in front of the hotel. There are supermarkets, restaurants, and pharmacies of all sizes nearby. The party next door on Tuesdays and Saturdays goes until 2 AM, which can be a bit noisy, but the hotel provides earplugs. They offer connecting rooms with the connecting door on the balcony, and there's a safe. All in all, the hotel experience was pretty good."

"Staff was very kind and always smiling but the facilities were a bit bad, one of the light bulb in my room was burn out so it was not working, the water pressure from showers, sink, bidet (water blow beside the toilet) was so hard and very painful already. you can adjust it manually but its hard. there were also bits of black mini ants building in the table as it was wood. the mirror was hidden at the room but the staff helped to place it nearby the door so i can see myself well. Staff was also very responsive, cleaned my room everytime."

"The pool area is huge and amazing, very spacious, during our visit it wasn't busy at all (only a few other people) so it was very relaxing to have the space to ourselves. We were upgraded from a standard room to a patio garden room for our anniversary, that was a lovely surprise and much appreciated. The bathroom was big with huge shower and double sinks. I love that you are served complimentary water when sitting poolside, even one day we received a free mocktail shot. The lobby smells amazing. The gym has a great range of equipment and i love the cold wet towels. The breakfast was amazing, the al a carte selection was great with daily special and also a small buffet for ”side dishes” like yoghurt, fruit and bakery items, and juice including my favourite coconut water! Coffee was great too! The best was firm, but comfortable with great pillows. Loved the complimentary daily activity (yoga, tai chi, pilates) however we missed the second day as the instructor was sick and there was no replacement. There is a market right next door (bigger than love anchor). Main street is 2 streets over, we did lots of walking, but there is many many options nearby for restaurant and massages. We enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to recommend."

"I stayed here again because my first experience was good. Unfortunately, the second time around was significantly worse. The main issue was the noise in the room due to poor soundproofing. At night, I could clearly hear my neighbors' loud conversations, followed by an extremely loud water/shower/pump noise that sounded almost like a waterfall inside the room. The hotel explained that it's an automatic water pump system and cannot be turned off. In my opinion, if a room is situated such that it gets this kind of noise at night, guests should be warned in advance. Such a room doesn't feel like a standard quiet room for the same price. After a bad night, I was woken up again by loud cleaning/sweeping noises near my room around 8:30 AM. I understand that cleaning is part of hotel operations, but for a guest who had already complained about noise at night, it felt like another disruption to my rest, rather than a concern for comfort. Separately, the response to my complaint was disappointing. When I reported the noise, I was told that the pump is part of the system and cleaning is part of daily operations. But the core problem wasn't the existence of the pump or cleaning itself; it was that it made it impossible to sleep properly. The noise check also seemed perfunctory: staff didn't check the noise level from inside my room when the problem was audible, and the situation with the noisy neighbors wasn't resolved immediately. The hotel apologized, offered to move me to another room, and provided a complimentary breakfast, but refused to offer a discount or compensation for the ruined sleep, citing internal policy. They later agreed to help move my belongings to the new room, which I appreciate. Additional downsides: there were quite a few mosquitoes in the room, so it would be helpful to treat the room beforehand or offer guests mosquito repellent/adapters. The hot water didn't heat up immediately and was inconsistent. The Wi-Fi also worked poorly and intermittently. Another unpleasant moment was the feeling of insufficient privacy. At one point, a staff member walked past my window and looked into my room while the curtains were open, which made me uncomfortable. In my opinion, staff should be more mindful of guest privacy, especially for ground-floor rooms or rooms facing common areas. Also, it was sometimes noisy by the pool due to children, so those expecting a quiet stay should keep this in mind. The place itself is beautiful, the food at the cafe is tasty and inexpensive, it's clean, and the staff are polite and try their best, but my specific room was uncomfortable for sleeping. I would advise inquiring about the soundproofing of the room."

"From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the customer service team with bright, genuine smiles, which made me feel at home immediately. The hotel's location is excellent, with many cafés (Superfood and KYND) within walking distance and a convenience store just a one minute walk away, making it incredibly convenient. I especially loved the peaceful and zen atmosphere. Despite being close to everything, the hotel was quiet and relaxing, making it the perfect place to unwind. The rooms have a unique design, are spacious, and were clean throughout my stay. One of the highlights was the rooftop with its beautiful sea view. On one of the nights, I even got to watch the stars from the rooftop, which was such a magical and memorable experience. I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in Bali while still being close to great cafés and amenities."
