"I love this little place; it's always clean, nice, and cozy. The guys at the reception are golden people – they'll find anything, fix anything, and do anything! I even left my luggage here when I checked out. Some rooms are a bit dark because the windows face an inner courtyard, but that depends on the price. The bathroom is superb. The location is perfect, just 10 minutes from the beach, and everything you need is nearby. 🙏"

However, since the hotel has been around for a while, the rooms and bathrooms show their age. Overall, it's a good choice for budget-conscious travelers who prioritize a wide range of facilities and relaxing sea views, and aren't overly particular about the newest amenities."

"Although this hotel just likes more than 30 years old building and a little bit tiny. Not pretty clean but I would still recommend it. Cuz the location and their customer is the best. The front desk persons always caring and super kind. And super helpful as well. If u need here to Bali , this one must be ur first step. So that u don't need to worry about anything."

"Everything was just perfect. SUPER WORTH THE PRICE! My whole stay felt like something out of The White Lotus. Stayed here for 4 nights, and my family and I were pleased with everything about our stay. We've stayed in 5-star hotels and resorts throughout our lives, but nothing beats our experience here. I would say we were very surprised with every aspect of our stay. Service was top-notch. The check-in experience was just lovely; the senior butler assisted us, and she came over to where we were sitting instead of us having to stand around or sit by the check-in desk. We were delivered to our rooms using a buggy and were given a detailed room tour and an introduction to hotel facilities. We stayed here through Nyepi, but the hotel operated almost at normal capacity just with a few adjustments which we didn't mind at all. Rooms exceeded our expectations. Very spacious, more than comfortable and we had a view of the beach from the balcony. They provided us with top-of-the-class amenities such as toiletries by Sensatia, super high performance hair dryer (this is important), and bath bombs! Food was awesome. We had 2 dinners in Flow Restaurant and it was suffice to say that they have a wide variety of menu selections. The food they served was very proper and actually delicious, not the regular hotel restaurant food that would taste mediocre. They serve a la carte all-you-can-eat breakfast menu, where you can order anything you like from the menu with no limit! I would say breakfast food was actually good, something you normally get from brunch cafes in Bali. The resort also provides a range of in-house activities such as pilates and gym classes, which we participated in to pass our day during Nyepi. They also have a very big pool that has direct access to the beach, and poolside area was very much pleasant. People were sunbathing and just chilling by the pool, enjoying the atmosphere and the sunny Bali weather. The whole hotel staff was extremely friendly, we would be greeted with smiling faces wherever we go, and they would also strike up a friendly conversation at times. I would like to hand a shoutout to the senior butler, Kak Putri, and Gus Wira, who made our stay a pleasant one. I have recommended this resort to 3 of my friends, and will continue to do so."

"Stayed for 7 nights to learn surfing. It's a very simple guesthouse, so don't expect too much from the facilities or environment. At 80-90 RMB a night, it's pretty good value for money. The front desk staff doesn't say much, but he's there from morning till night, constantly cleaning inside and out. The overall 4.3-star rating is fair. Many other guests are Westerners, mostly here for surfing. Not suitable if you're on vacation with your girlfriend. Lots of mosquitoes and no mosquito coils."

"We loved everything at TAKSU hotel! Location was perfect,pool was perfect! Always super clean and tidy in all areas. We loved the breakfast which was variegated between Asian,continental and international. The staff was very helpful and kind. We will definitely recommend and come back!"

"A cozy, small hotel with a pleasant pool area. The rooms need some updating, but are very clean. Breakfasts were good in the restaurant on the ground floor, and we also went there for dinner; the food was delicious and the atmosphere was cozy. The hotel is located near the beach, but it's not suitable for swimming and often has an unpleasant odor. I'd like to especially thank the hotel staff for their friendliness and willingness to help with any questions."

"I had a great time at this hotel. The rooms were super clean and comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful with everything I needed. A big plus is their 24-hour restaurant service, which was very convenient. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!"

"I love this place, but only because it suits me. Its incredibly basic with very little amenities. Kitchen us very under equipped and pretty much non functional. The location is good for me as its nice and quiet though that does depend on some of the neighbours dogs or whether you have a noisy family next door. Look if your laid back and want a cheap villa with a private pool then this is a good option but dont expect luxury."

"Not a bad hotel for the price! It has a balcony. Of course, everything is old and some walls are a bit scuffed, but the price is low. The location is good; we were on a motorbike and just needed a place to sleep and shower. The only downside I found was an unfinished, sharp edge at the bottom of the bed frame, which I cut my legs on several times."
