"Friendly staff, very fragrant & big room, plus cold AC, the room is also soundproof, heavy rain is almost inaudible. Spacious & clean bathroom, strong & stable hot water, great. Fast wifi, even when moving from the room to the rooftop or hotel lobby. Parking is limited but security is very helpful. So it's not a problem even though I stayed there for 3 days and there was always a bukber event. The rooftop is safe, lots of seats plus tables, the swimming pool is clean. The location is great, across there is a market, it's okay if you want to eat market snacks, I also had time to buy fruits. There are also food stalls if you're too lazy to walk. Close to the Jogja monument, not far from everywhere. Suggestion: For a room at this price, it's better to also provide hand soap at the sink. It's also better to provide a pair of small towels to wipe your hands and hangers. For breakfast, we only used it once, for the taste... it depends on each person's taste 😁 & there aren't many choices. Thank you."

"I chose this hotel because of its location, very near to tugu. And cheapest around the area. Check in was fast. Breakfast was good. Staffs were helpful. I will choose this hotel again when needed to be staying at the area."

"Located in the city center, with plenty of restaurants and a supermarket nearby. The service was excellent, and our room had a window. Overall, we were very satisfied. The hotel was easy to find and definitely recommended."

"The room was comfortable and quite well-equipped, with all the necessary facilities available, making for a pleasant stay. The room condition was clean, and overall, it was quite satisfying. If I could offer a small suggestion, perhaps the TV could be upgraded to a Smart TV to be more modern and allow for YouTube/other streaming services. The food was also delicious. It happened that during my stay, the hotel was undergoing renovations, so breakfast couldn't be served buffet-style and we could only choose from a menu for room delivery. However, the service remained excellent. Since I was with my child, I asked for extra cereal and it was promptly and kindly provided. Overall, the stay was quite enjoyable. The room was comfortable, facilities complete, food delicious, and the staff were responsive. I hope the renovations will be completed soon and that facilities like the TV can become more modern in the future. 😊"

"The moment I walked in, I was immediately greeted by the hotel staff's warmth and hospitality; the service was impeccable and excellent. Check-in was fast and efficient, and the room had a great view. The resort offers a wide range of activities, including swimming, a gym, cycling, and a spa, all within a beautiful, lush green environment that made my stay incredibly pleasant. The restaurant food was good, and while the breakfast selection wasn't huge, I really enjoyed the fruit. I especially loved the hotel bar – the drinks were great, and the service was warm and attentive. I was lucky enough to catch a live band on Friday, which was fantastic. Drinking and chatting with music in the background was so relaxing!"

"The hotel is great - clean and staff sre friendly and professional. A little inconvenient is that the room is not so noise isolated. We can hear when people talk along the corridors as well as traffice noises."

"This hotel is located near Malioboro Street, within walking distance, so there's no need for a taxi. The food at the hotel is plentiful, more than I could eat. The accommodation is clean and spacious. The downside is that the gym is very small, disproportionate to the number of rooms available. Also, if you stay here, you'll need to bring a round-pin plug adapter as you can't directly use an iPhone charger. The swimming pool seems a bit small, but it's still better than the gym."

"This is my first time leaving such an angry review on Trip.com. First, the pros: The location is excellent, very close to the bustling Malioboro Street, which is incredibly convenient. The hotel facilities are good, and it even includes a microwave and a refrigerator. Now for the cons: Trip.com showed a king-size smoking room, but at check-in, I was told only twin rooms were available for smoking. The front desk staff then offered to switch me to a twin room. The prices for these two room types are completely different, which is essentially false advertising and deceptive to consumers. Furthermore, the room only had tea bags, no coffee. This is the first time I've ever stayed at a hotel that didn't provide coffee, which made for a very poor experience."

"Everything was good until at night a family with a small child checked in to next room of ours.  They were talking lound and making noises very much. We realized how thin the wall between us was, as we could hear their conversation very clearly.   Other than that, we liked the town view from the room and  all were good."

"We love the location of this Hotel. Easy to walk to the nearest shopping areas. Breakfast spread is good although this is within the fasting period. Only one small comment is the Bathing room is very slippery when showering. I slipped and fall while bathing, lucky that I didn't knock on to the glass panel or the wall. Suggest to have bathing mat at the showering point. Overall for my friends and I are very satisfy with the stay at Harper Hotel."
