"Had a pleasant stay for 3 nights. The room was spacious and super clean. Breakfast could not be better, they had a live cooking station for orders to cook, a variety for everyone. We went for drinks at the terrace on our third night as it wasnt raining and was accompanied by a live band. Recommended place to stay if you're planning on netflix and chill in the room."
"An unforgettable stay with amazing cuisine and rooftop entertainment, Novotel on Chamiers Rd is a must see.
• 8 min walk to Nandanam Metro 🚉
• Koox Japanese Rooftop Bar 🍸
• Food Exchange Buffet Restaurant
• 10min drive to T-Nagar shopping district
Stayed for 10 nights over the Independence Day weekend in August, and was very impressed by the hospitality and service of every staff member from the front of house to the room service, who did not hesitate to accommodate my every request.
Koox Rooftop bar located at the terrace is a premier dining experience for any Japanese or Thai cuisine aficionados, the evening vibes had us coming back for more.
A special mention to the Food Exchange Buffet Restaurant on the 1st Floor, Chef de Partie Amit and Restaurant Manager Nisarg went above and beyond to cater for every request at breakfast, lunch and dinner.
A massive thank you to all the staff who made our stay special:
Reception Staff - Lucky
Front of House - Krishna
Gym Staff - Thiru 💪
Room Service - Santhosh
And thank you to Mr Amit Gera, GM who kindly welcomed me to the Independence Day Flag Raising ceremony at the front of the Novotel. Glad I could be there for the special occasion. 🇮🇳"
"I upgraded my room because the cleaning of my room was not finished. The correspondence was smooth and good. And the room was very clean and comfortable with a dryer."
"My stay in Oasis hotel from 7-10/10.Hotel , staffs very helpful, friendly and approachable. frontline, to servers, smart, clean and well dressed.
Hotel looks new and pleasing.Setup beautiful.Rms were ,clean, tidy ,neat on arrival.
Food thou vegetarian and catered outside as i heard was excellent everyday which i look forward to, coffee was super.
Only comment, housekeeping service like making up beds, rm cleaning , and topping up of water, toiletries, beverages, daily could be done on time.
🙏🏽for our 4 days stay in You’re hotel a memorable one.."
"To be honest, everything was awesome. I liked how brightly lit the room is and it just makes it even cleaner and comfy. The staff are attentive and responsive, always ready to assist and serve.
The only misfortune was that insects gathered all over my closet wall on the 2nd day. However, the housekeeping team was swift to come over and clean the closet at 9pm when I reported it, changing my bedsheet as well and even offered me a change of room.
Overall, I would still choose this hotel the next time that I’m back in Chennai. They have the comfort and service nailed down and handles problem professionally with satisfactory response."
"Stayed 4 nights at The Residency Towers, Chennai early May 2026. Hotel looks grand and clean. Very convenient location if you are a shopper! 'Off' pick drive to International airport about 20 mins.
Staff are very kind, polite and helpful. Staff at main door entrance always greet with a smile and are willing to collect your luggages.
Breakfast spread with commendable! Many options from South Indian (fresh and on the spot) made dosa, roti, Mediterranean food staple like hummus, pita bread, healthy sandwiches, juices, filter coffee! pastries, cakes, porridge.. more than one can ask for!
Special mention about Mr Deeraj. Deeraj made every effort to make my stay memorable after I had issues in the first room assigned to me. Dheeraj personal inspected the next room and assured to make my stay a good one, and he definitely did! Dheeraj visited me in the restaurant to speak to me personally about my dissatisfaction about the first room which is very commendable in ensuring guests are well taken care of. Dheeraj even gave me an upgrade! which was very kind of him.
Another mention is Anand who collected my luggages. He was on full spring and energy in his work! He has very good working etiquette.
Another shout out to Krish and Ashwin from the restaurant! They were very sweet and friendly to make our mealtimes enjoyable and their lightheartedness full of spirit really made my day!
Myself and my husband had a truly wonderful time at The Residency Towers, Chennai!
We will surely return.
My only comment is, I expected all rooms to have been updated and renovated as advertised on their website, but unfortunately only couple of floors."
"I liked the Raj Palace. For a reasonable price it provided everything I needed. I liked the friendly staff. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good. It must have looked very elegant when it first opened. It probably could use a remodel to recapture its glory days."
"Grand Chennai hotel with great location and hospitality. Live up to its name. I feel safe staying with family members in room 603 and 605. Thanks for the complimentary fine and delicious breakfast. The staffs are very friendly and helpful. They helped me to carry my shopping bags to my room. I love Komal and Poushali both lovely receptionists at the front desk. The telephone operator is very kind to let me use the weighing scale. Live band and dance performance give a positve vibes."

Great
GGuest UserIt was a nice experience and quality service provided by hotel staff. We stayed for 2 nights. The food in Hyatt regency was nice. That was the best Indian food we ever tried. Special thanks go to front desk officer Ms Saraswathi, and concierge Mr Daniel, Mr Vijay , Mr Rajini. Also food the spic restaurant are amazing, special thanks to restaurant staff Mr Arindam, Mr Rajesh & Mr Kartik. Overall Hyatt Regency staff make extra miles to make our stay an amazing and memorable holiday. Planning to travel again with kids.
GGuest UserWhere do I begin? Travelling with a toddler is no easy task, and the team at Taj Connemara made it worthwhile, smooth, and exciting. It all began with Ms Jasmine who religiously followed up with all our requests and requirements for childproofing the Heritage Room we stayed. From additional mineral water bottles, bumpers on furniture, soft toys for bath, and an excellent baby cot, Ms Jasmine coordinated with her ground team and got everything ready before we checked in. The icing on the cake was the remarkable welcome gift for our daughter consisting of excellent baby skincare products from an established brand.
The stay itself was fantastic with a cosy room, abundance of toiletries, and exceptional breakfast. Shoutout to Mr Baskaran for attending to all our breakfast requests for our daughter. The baby dosa was a hit!
Located in a prime spot in Chennai next to Spencer Plaza and the newer EA Mall, Taj Connemara is strategic. Travel to major shopping centres and traditional clothing stores was made easy.
Last but not least, the hospitality and polite service offered by the staff of Taj Connemara was nothing short of amazing. They made our short trip to Chennai a memorable one and we look forward to coming again very soon!
Kudos to everyone at Taj Connemara for ensuring my family and I have a great time at your hotel.
Regards,
Linges
Jjp68It's not that great. They need lots of improvement in service and the rooms need some renovation as the wardrobes n carpets look old. it will also be better if they use some room freshener or candles with fragrance as the room doesn't have a pleasant smell. Overrall, it's not that great for a premium hotel.
SSUN, YI-KESo room and lobby were so clean and with good smell and the staff was so friendly to help. I would recommend to those who visited India for the first time and try their breakfast to enjoy a little bit of Chennai's special dish like Idli.
WWill VargheseA very ordinary hotel IMO!!
The pillows had molds. The room service was prompt though. Breakfast buffet spread was pretty decent and tasty. If you are looking for a five star experience within your conservative budget, try The Accord Metropolitan in T Nagar.
GGuest UserLocation: Excellent
Facilities: Good
Service: Unsatisfactory
1. There was no one to greet us upon arrival
2. Our suitcases were unattended and we had to carry them to our room ourselves.
3. Mosquitoes everywhere.
4. We had to request for mosquito repellent. The hotel staff should be more attentive and ensure rooms are stocked with essentials.
5. The food we ordered for in-room dining was not even warm (forget hot food). We only ordered some fries and a sandwich - not sure if the fries were prepared and shipped from France 😂
Will never opt this place again.
GGuest UserThe room is a total disappointment. Check in on 3-June-2026 for room 2066 (not to sure), change to 1004 and on 5th night, change again to 1020 due to beeping noise as the door is unable to close properly. My colleagues, Rasal PM and Muhamed Ali (2064 to 2020) either have only hot water and disappointing room.
PPANCHALExcellent Stay, Great Location and Value for Money
I had one of the best stays at this hotel in Chennai. I stayed for 3 nights and it truly felt like a luxury experience at a reasonable price. The location is a major advantage centrally placed and easily accessible to many parts of the city.
The rooms are spacious, the bed linen was clean, and the bathroom was well maintained with proper toiletries provided. They also supply water bottles and there’s a water dispenser (water can) available in the hallway, which is a nice touch.
They offer a complimentary breakfast buffet with a wide variety of options. However the breakfast closes a bit early at 10 AM so plan accordingly. Car parking is available, which is convenient and the staff were polite and helpful, A special mention to the security personnel and room service staff for their hospitality. Outside food is allowed as well, which is a plus.
The only minor inconvenience was that the lift always stopped at the first floor (reception) by default, which was slightly annoying.
Also FYI, I misplaced my room key card and had to pay ₹200 for a replacement.
Overall, it was a great experience and I’d definitely recommend this place for anyone visiting Chennai.
Some top places to stay in Chennai are near popular attractions like Marina Beach—so you can quickly get to top landmarks and amenities you need.
