"This is my second stay here. I chose it again because last time I found it super convenient for airport transfers, with the airport bus nearby, and it's also a short walk to Fushimi subway station. There's a large drugstore right outside, and Nagoya Station is about a 15-minute walk away, or you can catch various bus lines. The hotel rooms are compact but very comfortable. This time, breakfast was included, and it was quite good – noodles, rice, and bread were all available, saving me money on coffee and a lot of time! What truly surprised me this time was that amazing showerhead – I'm seriously obsessed! I wonder if I can install one at home, I really want the same model! All in all, I'll definitely want to visit Nagoya again (I've explored Hida Takayama and Nagashima Spa Land before, and this time I visited Inuyama and Magome-juku, plus many great shopping malls). When I do return, I'll absolutely stay here!"

"First off, the hotel's location is excellent, which was the main reason I booked it. Metro Exit 10 has an elevator, and it's just a 5-minute walk past a 7-Eleven to reach the hotel. You check in yourself at the lobby on the second floor. There's free luggage storage nearby, and a pantry with ice available, which is a great touch. The laundry room also provides complimentary disposable items, a very thoughtful variety! The room size was ample enough for two suitcases, and it was cleaned daily. Overall, a very satisfying stay. There are also famous fried chicken spots and many local restaurants around the hotel. Great value for money, highly recommend!"

"There is no coffee or tea provided complimentarily. There’s no spoon for stirring coffee even if you buy your own coffee or tea. So you also need to buy spoon from convenient shop or bring along a spoon from home when you travel to the hotel. The cleaning is not everyday when when I stay there for 11 nights. When clean up signage is out in the door they are being ignored. So you will not know what to do with the rubbish piled up in the rubbish bin. Even when cleaning was done, the standard was not good. Can still find stain in the sink and the bath. Some of the personnel at front desk also do not provide the standard greetings that would expect from service provider when eyes met. I was there tired and wanted to have a check in early, one of the girl said no negotiation check in at 3 pm. Then another said can check in earlier by 1 hour at 2 pm and and pay 1200 yen. So they don’t really know what they are doing? Instruction on early check in not clear? They also need to pay attention to the maintenance of the room and that depends on the cleaning crew and the maintenance team. Don’t stay near the vending machine room, you will hear dropping of the soft drinks. Beside the human factor at the front desk and the cleaning crew, the restaurant is good and the location is great. Bus stops to the city central is 5 minutes away and if walk to the city is about 15 to 20 minutes depending on where you go. Longer if you get distracted."

"The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The complimentary toiletries were of excellent quality, and we appreciated being able to choose them ourselves. Breakfast was abundant and delicious. The location was super convenient, with plenty of restaurants and supermarkets nearby, making it easy to grab a bite even late at night. We were disappointed that we couldn't store our luggage for two days after checking out, but we understand their policy."

"Good location, it located between Nagoya and Sakae station, only 1 station far away. It is very convenient if you take airport bus from airport as there is a nearby airport bus stop, just 500 meters by walk. The room meets standard and is comfortable, It is valuable. The Japanese breakfast style is available if you enjoy them, you will love it."

"The hotel check-in is on the sixth floor. There was a bit of a mix-up with my reservation at first, which caused some delays, but once it was sorted out, everything else was very satisfactory. The Nagoya Kanko Hotel is an older 5-star hotel with large and spacious public areas. As is common with most Japanese hotels, Saturday rates are significantly higher than weekdays. They offer smoking rooms (many Japanese hotels are now completely smoke-free). The bathroom was still very well-maintained, and the toiletries were BVLGARI. The breakfast quality was also excellent. The hotel is conveniently located directly across from the airport shuttle bus stop, making travel to Chubu Airport very easy. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Nagoya."

"What a wonderful stay! Although I've visited Nagoya several times, this was my first time staying in the Sakae district. While it's not as convenient for JR access as the area around Takashimaya, I personally think Sakae offers better, more youthful, and stylish shopping than Nagoya JR Station – there's just too much to explore! The hotel itself is very international, and the lobby's design sets it apart from other hotels. It also offers excellent privacy. Check-in was quiet and orderly. The staff spoke fluent English, were quick and very friendly, providing a great comfort after a long journey. The room was thoughtfully designed with many small surprises – I won't spoil them all; you'll have to discover them for yourselves!"

"The hotel is conveniently connected to one of the exits of Nagoya Station, which was a huge plus for us on both sunny and rainy days—especially since it rained during part of our stay! I stayed at this hotel twice: once when I first arrived in Nagoya, and again after returning from a 2D1N trip outside the city before flying home. I'm so glad I chose Mitsui both times! As all the guest rooms are located above the 18th floor, the views were fantastic. From our room, we enjoyed a beautiful bird's-eye view of Nagoya City. In fact, I almost felt like I didn't need to visit the observation deck on the 51st floor of JR Central Towers to enjoy the city skyline! The service was excellent as well. The hotel kindly stored our luggage while we were away on our overnight trip. When we returned to check in for our second stay, we were pleasantly surprised to find that our luggage had already been moved to our room without us even having to ask. A big thank you to the staff for being so attentive and proactive in preparing everything before we arrived. Besides its excellent location next to Nagoya Station, there is a FamilyMart and a 7-Eleven directly opposite the hotel. There's also a Mister Donut across the road, where we grabbed breakfast and snacks before heading out each day. Overall, I honestly have nothing to complain about. The location, service, and comfort all exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely stay here again when I visit Nagoya."
