Hotels near Noritake no Mori, Nagoya

The Apartment Hotel 11 Nagoya was a very convenient stay. It was super clean and comfortable. It's a walk to the subway and a short walk to other spots. There's lots of stores and restaurants close to the hotel as well. We used the airport bus from Sakae station to Nagoya airport NGO and it was super convenient (cashless service). They also have a bus from the airport that stops at Nagoya Tokyu hotel, which will be even more convenient. Looking forward to the next stay in Nagoya.

Whenever I travel to and from Central Japan International Airport, I always stay here. It's close to the station, offers a free breakfast with a good variety, and even has complimentary welcome drinks after noon. It's my preferred hotel near the station, less than a 10-minute walk away. I'll definitely stay here again next time.

We chose this hotel because it’s located near Nagoya Station, which offered some convenience as the station also had a bus interchange which could bring us to some places around the city. However, there was quite a bit of construction which made moving our luggages on check-in/out day quite a hassle as we had to drag them around the construction site, and the actual walking time taken to/from the station was around ~12 minutes instead. Other than this, the hotel room and toilet were clean, and the staff were also friendly and helpful, and able to converse well in English. There was also coin laundry available which allowed us to wash our clothes, and there was a machine at the hotel lobby which allowed us to exchange notes for smaller change (smaller notes or coins). We could also refill our water bottles at the first floor, although only at certain timings of the day. The reception also had a weighing scale which was useful as we could weigh our luggages. Overall, a good experience staying in this hotel.

We gave them the wrong room. We booked a large room, but they gave us the smallest one. Luckily, we contacted Ctrip customer service to resolve the issue. They said they would give us two days of breakfast coupons for three people, but they only gave us three coupons. I left it to them and didn't want to bother with it again.

The location is great, about a seven to eight-minute walk from Nagoya Station. If you turn right out of the hotel entrance onto another street, there are three other large hotels and a Lawson convenience store – very convenient! The hotel facilities are good, with the breakfast area on the first floor. It's clean, the environment is pleasant, and the service is good, although they no longer have a Chinese translator. I paid 1200 yen to check in early, but why was I assigned a room directly opposite the laundry room? I had to request a change to a west-facing room. A local guest who checked in after me was assigned a superior east-facing room! This needs to be improved!!

The biggest plus is the location. As a solo female traveler visiting Nagoya for the first time, I felt very safe. It's only a few minutes' walk from Nagoya Station, and there's an LV store right downstairs. The area reminds me a bit of the shops above Guangzhou's Taikoo Hui. There are plenty of dining options nearby too. However, I had to request housekeeping; my room wasn't cleaned until the fourth day. I later found out it was because I hadn't hung the 'please clean' sign on the door. Other than that, everything else was fine. Hotels in Japan at this price point tend to be on the smaller side. The complimentary breakfast from the bakery downstairs was nice – a donut, a croissant, and a drink every day. It's definitely better value than buying it separately. If you're traveling solo and prioritize safety and convenience, this hotel is a great choice.

I appreciate the thoughtfulness of receiving an email as soon as I make a reservation. It's very affordable, even though it's less than a 10-minute walk from Kanayama Station. However, the facilities are commensurate with the price, and it's undeniable that the bath is extremely small and the walls are thin. If it's cheap and suits your travel needs, it's a good choice.

The hotel's location is superb, right by Nagoya Station. What's more, there are plenty of restaurants right downstairs, so you'll have no trouble finding authentic Japanese cuisine. The hotel service was also incredibly attentive and thorough. From a smooth check-in process to thoughtful room arrangements and convenient luggage storage after check-out, the entire service experience felt very reliable and well-managed.

My main reason for visiting Nagoya this time was due to bus travel (the Inotani Sugihara line breakdown affected the Hida Limited Express and Takayama Main Line, impacting my Toyama-Takayama-Nagoya itinerary). This led me to discover that Nagoya Station has two bus terminals. One is the JR Nagoya Station (Shinkansen Exit) terminal, located on the plaza outside the Taiko-dori exit. It's very close to the hotel, easily visible, and I timed it at a 5-minute walk. It's very convenient for taking buses to and from Takayama. Although there was road construction, you just follow the barriers and cross the road to get there. The other is the Meitetsu Bus Center (Nagoya). When we arrived via the Meitetsu line from the airport, we dropped off a suitcase at the hotel first, then came back to the Meitetsu Bus Center to catch our bus. This detour took about 40 minutes round trip. Specifically, you walk from 'Sakura-dori Exit' towards 'Taiko-dori Exit' and 'Shinkansen North Exit'. Once you see 'Shinkansen North Exit', walk a few more steps out the door, and that's the JR Nagoya Bus Station. Cross the road to get to the hotel. So, for those using the Meitetsu line, Meitetsu buses, subway, or Takashimaya, it's a bit of a distance. The hotel allows early luggage storage, and check-in is at 2 PM. You can pick up toothbrushes, toothpaste, coffee, and tea from the lobby yourself, but there are no makeup removers or skincare products. You need to use your key card to access the elevators, and two bottles of water are provided daily. The room was new and spacious, allowing us to fully open two large suitcases at the same time. Staying here on our last day was great for organizing our luggage. There's a convenience store next to the hotel and a drugstore across the street.

Every time I come to Nagoya, I stay at this hotel. I love it! It's very close to the JR station, there's a convenience store downstairs, and the room has a huge floor-to-ceiling window! The view is absolutely amazing!
