This is not a hotel, is a 3 level Villa with a rooftop overlooking the Mount Fuji. The place is very remote not advisable for someone do not have a transport. The villa is huge and there are 4 beds. 2 at level 1 and level 2. Rooftop is open air and can do BBQ though need to pay a rental of 50000yen per person. The bathroom is very clean and nice and overlooking at Mt. Fuji. After all , is suitable for a big family stay, and the place is not cheap. I book it for the experience and the appealing factor of able to overlook the Mt. Fuji.

The hotel service was excellent and the facilities were comprehensive. The breakfast quality was high. Although there are trees in front of the hotel, blocking the view of Mount Fuji from the room, you can walk to Oishi Park in less than ten minutes to see it. Transportation is also quite convenient, and the room is very spacious. The only downside might be a few small insects.

Very nice I would like to come here again and spend a bit more time. I did two nights and three days but maybe next time I would like to stay 3 to 4 nights to explore the city because I was only staying in the hotel. They have a nice hot spring. I had a problem for my skin but going to a hot spring few times my skin become better and the service was excellent. The staff are very nice and polite. Also professional Food was good. I really love the experience what I had here. I recommend other people as well especially who have a children small or family. You can use this hotel.

This onsen hotel by Lake Kawaguchiko offers stunning views of Mount Fuji from the room. The hotel provides a shuttle service to the train station in the morning, which is convenient as it's a bit of a walk. For the best photo opportunities of Mount Fuji, head a short distance to the right of the hotel.

Stayed at The Gran Resort Princess Fujikawaguchiko and had a great overall experience. The room was very spacious, and I like that they offer mostly twin and triple bed setups, which feel comfortable and practical. The best part is that every room has a view of Mt. Fuji, which makes the stay really special. The onsen was also very nice—clean, relaxing, and a great way to unwind after a day out. Service was excellent, staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. Food was decent, nothing too standout but still enjoyable. Location-wise, it worked well for me since I rented a car. However, it might be less convenient if you rely on public transport. Overall, a great stay if you want space, a good onsen, and a guaranteed Fuji view.

This place is highly recommended if you're just looking to relax and enjoy the scenery. However, it's not very convenient for independent travelers. There are no shops, no taxis, and no bicycles. Buses are also infrequent, making it really difficult to get around. The only upside is waking up to a view of Mount Fuji from your room. I'd suggest staying in the city; you can still see Mount Fuji from there and have easy access to transportation. Both breakfast and dinner were just okay.

When I booked, I double-checked with the hotel to confirm that the room would have a window directly facing Lake Kawaguchiko, as well as another window with a view of Mount Fuji. However, upon entering the room, I found there was only one window, and I had to crane my neck to catch a glimpse of Lake Kawaguchiko. The room next door (X11) clearly had one window directly facing the lake and another with a Mount Fuji view. Why weren't we given that room? We booked in early to mid-May, and we even arrived at the hotel before 4 PM on the day of check-in. On top of that, the bathroom in our room was ridiculously small; even an average-sized woman, let alone a man, would struggle to close the door once inside 😂. This was also my first time staying at a Japanese onsen hotel where almost 80% of the staff were non-Japanese, which probably explains why most of the guests were Westerners 🤣. And it was also my first time at an onsen hotel where there were absolutely no skincare products in the onsen area. Were they perhaps so afraid of 'foreigners' misusing them that they stopped providing them altogether?? 🥹

It was definitely an enjoyable and worthy experience of traditional ryokan with tatami and futon with the best view of Mt. Fuji from the room window! The hotel itself overlooks parts of Mt. Fuji with Lake Kawaguchiko, and we even added on dinner and breakfast during the stay! They are simply one of the best meals during the trips in Tokyo! The onsen is another bonus to enjoy while seeing the view of Mt Fuji, even though it is public hot spring which might be a culture shock. Definitely worth to try it out again to enjoy the traditional Japan vibes around Lake Kawaguchiko.

The staff at Fuji Premium Resort went above and beyond to help us when we had some difficulties.  When we went it was snowing hard and had been involved in a minor car accident. The staff kept registration open late, got us food at no extra charge from the gift shop because the dining area was closed, and arranged transportation for us to get back to our car the next day because it was not able to get up the hill in the icy conditions and no other cost.  The rooms were nice and comfortable and the buffet breakfast in the morning was delicious.  Would absolutely stay with them again.

Traditional Japanese hot spring hotel with beautiful lake side view and experienced front desk. The hotel is located just near the famous Tenjozan cable car station and quite easy to access to other attraction site on foot or by riding a bicycle. A 90 min all-you-can-eat hot pot buffet is provided during the stay as well as the delicate Japanese style breakfast. Hot spring can be found in each guest room and on the 2nd floor for public use as well. Overall, I am quite happy with my visit to the Breezy Bay hotel.
