"The hotel is conveniently connected to one of the exits of Nagoya Station, which was a huge plus for us on both sunny and rainy days—especially since it rained during part of our stay! I stayed at this hotel twice: once when I first arrived in Nagoya, and again after returning from a 2D1N trip outside the city before flying home. I'm so glad I chose Mitsui both times! As all the guest rooms are located above the 18th floor, the views were fantastic. From our room, we enjoyed a beautiful bird's-eye view of Nagoya City. In fact, I almost felt like I didn't need to visit the observation deck on the 51st floor of JR Central Towers to enjoy the city skyline! The service was excellent as well. The hotel kindly stored our luggage while we were away on our overnight trip. When we returned to check in for our second stay, we were pleasantly surprised to find that our luggage had already been moved to our room without us even having to ask. A big thank you to the staff for being so attentive and proactive in preparing everything before we arrived. Besides its excellent location next to Nagoya Station, there is a FamilyMart and a 7-Eleven directly opposite the hotel. There's also a Mister Donut across the road, where we grabbed breakfast and snacks before heading out each day. Overall, I honestly have nothing to complain about. The location, service, and comfort all exceeded my expectations, and I would definitely stay here again when I visit Nagoya."

"The location is fantastic and super easy to find. Just exit Meitetsu Station West Exit, cross one main road, and turn a corner – you'll be there in under five or six minutes. It's incredibly convenient for taking the Meitetsu Line, Meitetsu bus, JR, and Shinkansen. The room cleanliness was impeccable. I opted for the eco-clean option and received four tokens for the vending machine, which I could use to buy drinks. I think this is such a brilliant idea – it lightens the load for the cleaning staff while also benefiting guests. Finally, the service was incredibly warm and friendly, and all the directions and information provided were crystal clear. There was one lady at the front desk who was particularly enthusiastic and had a wonderful attitude; she was always smiling, making for a truly excellent experience. Thumbs up! 👍"

"The location is very convenient, close to Meitetsu Nagoya Station and the bus terminal. I've stayed here before after exploring the surrounding area. There are several large department stores and drugstores nearby, making shopping easy. There are also plenty of dining options in the vicinity. The staff are very enthusiastic. The room isn't huge, but it's well laid out, and the bed isn't very big, which is perfect for a solo traveler. You can pick up yukata and various toiletries yourself. The breakfast is good, with delicious local specialties. You can store your luggage, and the lobby is a great spot to relax with a coffee. Excellent!"

"I had a fantastic stay at ibis Styles Nagoya! The first thing that hits us is the cool, industrial market-themed design. It’s very photogenic and a nice break from standard business hotels. The location is perfect; it’s an easy 8–10 minute walk from Nagoya Station and right next to the Yanagibashi Central Market, which is great for morning exploration. The room is a bit compact but incredibly smart with their layout. Highly recommend for anyone who wants style without the massive price tag."

"This hotel is super convenient, just about a 10-minute walk from Nagoya Station, which is perfect if you're catching a JR train. Downstairs, there's an Ichiran Ramen, a convenience store, and an underground shopping street, so you don't have to worry about bad weather when you're out and about. The room itself is a bit small; it was a tight squeeze to open two large suitcases. However, the yukata (robe) was really comfortable, and they even have a public bath, so it really has everything you need (you can also grab face masks at the front desk)."

"The hotel's location isn't far from Nagoya Station, so it's convenient even with luggage. The service is very enthusiastic, and the public bath's temperature is just right, unlike some other hotels where it's scalding hot. They even offer popsicles after your bath! If you're not a fan of public baths, you can grab bath salts and even face masks, all provided free of charge. Overall, the hygiene is quite good, but the toilet had a strong odor. It might be due to the wallpaper in the toilet, which makes it hard to get rid of smells. Although they provide air freshener spray, it wasn't very effective. The bed was very comfortable, and if you don't like the pillows in the room, you can choose a different one. My only, and I think significant, issue is with the room's curtains. Why can't they use regular curtains? The current ones let in far too much light, and I was woken up by the bright morning light, which really affected my sleep."

"My stay here far exceeded my expectations. The hotel is located right above Nagoya Station, making transportation incredibly convenient, especially for catching the Shinkansen to other cities. The room was clean and spacious, and the Marriott bed was as comfortable as ever. The high-floor view was absolutely stunning, especially the nightscape. The front desk staff were professional and attentive, breakfast quality was excellent, and the facilities were well-maintained. It's a perfect choice whether you're traveling for leisure or business."

"A bit of an older hotel but it was quite charming. My room had lots of sunshine. The floors were quite damaged. The AC worked well. When I arrived, my name was attached to a key with my room number on it, so check it was seamless. They offer free ramen for breakfast and water in the reception area. There is also a place outside where you can sit and eat during your stay. The room was also pretty large for the price. It had a small fridge (though mine wasn’t plugged in) and a table with a chair if you wanted to do some work or eat in your room. The bathroom had toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, and body soap."

"My main goal for this trip was to get some good rest, so I specifically chose a room on the side away from the main road and booked a more expensive top-floor room. Before checking in, I even requested a corner room, hoping to have no neighbors on either side, but the hotel said they couldn't arrange it, which I totally understood. In terms of soundproofing, if you're on the top floor and not facing the road, it's genuinely very quiet overall. With the windows closed, you basically can't hear any outside traffic or even the normal activities of neighbors. The only exception is if there are kids next door running around loudly in their room, then you'll definitely hear some noticeable noise. I experienced that firsthand this time. However, for those who prioritize convenient transportation, this hotel might be something to reconsider. It's not particularly close to a subway or train station, requiring about a 15-minute walk. If you're dragging luggage, especially in summer or on a rainy day, it can be quite a struggle. In comparison, many hotels near stations in Nagoya offer excellent value for money. I chose this place purely for the peace and quiet and the quality of rest. From that perspective, it completely met my expectations. If I visit Nagoya again and my primary goal is still rest, I would likely choose this hotel again. Overall, I'm very satisfied and highly recommend it to travelers like me who value sleep quality and a quiet environment."

"This hotel is conveniently located on the 15th floor of Nagoya Station Gate Tower Mall. Floors 9-10 house Bic Camera, and Uniqlo and GU are on the 11th floor, making shopping incredibly easy. There's also a popular restaurant on the same floor that often hosts lively events. You'll even find a pharmacy and convenience store on the same level."
