Great
Oorangeologyperfect place if you want a no frill traditional japanese ryokan. IYKYK. the only drag is that it's two short train stops from the busy destination Shuzenji, however local trains runs like til almost midnight. well-kept (but old) squeaky clean facilities + excellent okamisan. breakfast for additional like 5 dollars was top to the price. again, if you are looking for a modern boutique place, seek elsewhere. if you appreciate the japanese ryokan minshuku culture (which is disapperaring), this is the place. worth visit, worth money although unbelievably cheap. the town itself (Ohito) has some hidden gems like small restaurants and snacks (japanese bar). will visit again, if i ever come back to Izu.

GGuest UserThe ambiance is absolutely wonderful, and the service is excellent. The hot spring baths were incredibly relaxing, especially the outdoor ones. The meals are exquisitely prepared with high-quality ingredients. It's the perfect place to completely unwind and relax within the hotel.

CCHENTAIThe best thing about Japanese hotels is the authenticity of the information of the house. I hope that the businessmen in the motherland will learn, which will give people a very real good feeling. The room in this hotel is written as a mountain view room. Once in the room, the window is really open town and field, and the mountains in the distance are stacked and beautiful. The layout of the room is exquisite and beautiful, and the surrounding scenery is very harmonious. The waiters are older but radiant grandfathers and grandmothers. They are very meticulous and careful to introduce us to various precautions. They made an appointment at night for a private hot spring. On the second morning, they prepared a delicate breakfast. It rained outside when they left. The grandpa of the hotel drove us to the subway station. The overall feeling was comfortable and relaxed, which was also the impression left by the entire Izu Peninsula.

GGuest UserThe hotel's meals are very bad. The dinner is served together. The tempura is cold and soft. It is super unpalatable. There is no fish for dinner. Breakfast is not good, the meal is less, and some pregnant women are not suitable for eating. I communicated with the restaurant staff that the pregnant women who were traveling with me could not eat hot spring eggs. I wanted to change them to scrambled eggs. I was rejected by the young female staff of the restaurant. I felt very uncomfortable. The hotel has been renovated and the facilities are good. A male employee was very helpful when checking in. We communicated that we are non-Japanese and will not make a tatami bed and help make a bed. It is a hotel with facilities but the meals are really bad

BbleublueLocated in a small onsen town, not much shop and restaurant within walking distance while the restaurants and supermarket are easy to access by car within 15min. The hotel itself is a bit aged while it is under upgrading and maintained clean and service standard. A free shuttle is provided to the public onsen in the main branch hotel 5 min drive away. The public onsen is very good with multiple bath pools and an outdoor pool. The place is a good base for us to explore the west and central Izu. Given the price in the area, very value for money and highly recommended.

AAnonymous UserI chose this place because I could see Mt. Fuji from the open-air bath! When I made the reservation, there was only a smoking room, so I booked a smoking room, but the smell of cigarettes still lingered, so it might be a bit unpleasant for people who don't smoke. However, the breakfast had a lot of variety and was delicious, and the open-air bath was nice!

IIlovetraveling2Everything is satisfactory except for the curtain problem. The following recommendations are made: 1) The curtains behind the bed board are used to block the curtains, because they have been awakened by strong light and heat, affecting the quality of sleep. 2) It is recommended to replace the curtains with strips open and closed, because there is a gap when closed, and the privacy is not enough. Because the wall is connected to the door, there is only one curtain, and every time you enter and exit the door, it is easy to be blocked by the door curtains. In fact, the curtains in this position have also been damaged. It is recommended to switch to two pieces, one wall, one door, easy access and reduce damage.
