Mesmerizing hotel! As soon as we stepped inside, we immediately felt so relaxed. Everything in this hotel contributes to giving it a very peaceful and quiet atmosphere, from the super friendly and accommodating staff to the slow-paced breakfast and the sea view from the bedroom. This is a new hotel and the equipment is very modern and elegant (bathroom, toilet, walls) and the bedding is extremely comfortable, including super pajamas! The breakfast is served at 7:30am or 8:30am with Japanese and Western options available. They also offer dinner options with a few hours' notice. There is a bus stop nearby but it's definitely better to have a car as it seemed difficult to walk around and find beaches/restaurants, though that also makes the place very quiet and relaxing. Excellent value for money, we browsed a lot of options and this might be the best one if you do not want to go for a resort-style hotel.

The owner of Ohana guesthouse is amazing! The kindest and most hospitable man i have met. Even though his english is not all that good he really listens with interest and tries to connect. He cooks every night and you're invited to join for a very low price. When we ate together (Hotpot) and everyone was speaking japanese he kept trying to include me in the conversation. When i left after two days he even waved goodbye from the stairs till i turned the corner. The cabins were spacious and had a little fan and a mirror with a ledge inside, which is super nice! The toilets and showers were clean and nice and the little wash area was super cute and had everything you could want. the kitchen has everything you need to cook for yourself but for 200/400/800¥ you can join dinner so i didnt cook. Hands down the coziest guesthouse i have been, massive reccomendations!

B&B type. The single room I live in is small and well-equipped with common household appliances, including a washing machine, gas stove, microwave, oven, rice cooker, kettle, etc. If you are willing, you can go to the nearby market to buy materials to start your own business. With a small balcony and clothes drying equipment, the scenery outside is great. You can walk up the bridge. There is a small viewing area in the center of the bridge, where you can see the whole port. The neighborhood is relatively deserted and there are not many businesses. However, Ishigaki itself is very small. It only takes 10 minutes to walk to the area with the public market as the core, and there is a FamilyMart and a duty-free shop 3 minutes downstairs. It's about a 10-minute walk to Ishigaki Port, from where you can take a boat to other outlying islands. There is a pier not far downstairs, where people fish at night, and there is also a fishing gear shop. Anyone who is interested can try it.

✨ Highlights: • The room experience exceeded our expectations! The Coral Wing Selection Room was incredibly spacious, featuring an entryway and a separate bathroom. The two bunk beds were also very wide. Even though it's the Coral Wing, we still had a stunning ocean view with a fantastic panorama. The room facilities were new, and the toiletries were Byredo, which smelled wonderful. • The breakfast was tasty, and the hotel's location was a huge plus: very close to the airport, easy to get a taxi, and within walking distance to Don Quijote and nearby restaurants, making shopping and dining very convenient. • The hygiene and hardware facilities were well-maintained, and public facilities like the pool were excellent. It's a shame we only stayed one night and didn't get to experience them. ⚠️ Areas for Improvement: • The front desk service wasn't very welcoming; there was no guidance at all during check-in. The hotel itself is like a big maze, and it took us over half an hour to find our room, which detracted from the overall experience. • Upon check-out, we were charged an additional resort fee of about 50 RMB per person. While not a large amount, it would be better if it were included directly in the room rate. Paying in two separate installments felt a bit odd. • Some public facilities in the Coral Wing were slightly dated, a bit of a contrast to the brand-new feel of the guest rooms. Overall, the room itself, the location, and the environment were all excellent and up to InterContinental standards. If they could improve service details and check-in guidance, the experience would be much better. It's a good choice for a short, transitional one-night stay.

Compared to other hotels in Ishigaki, this one is genuinely clean, and I didn't encounter any mosquitoes or bugs (which I did at a previous stay near Kabira Bay). The location is excellent; it's convenient for driving anywhere. It only takes about 10 minutes to get to the city center for izakaya and late-night snacks. The facilities are quite good, with a large public bath, a private beach, and a spacious pool. If you're interested in booking local tours, they also have a counter to assist you.

My stay was from late February to early March, and I was in room 5503. The first thing I noticed, and it's a major plus, is the fantastic location. It's incredibly convenient for island hopping, being right next to the Ishigaki Port Remote Island Terminal. The bus terminal is also within walking distance, making airport access and getting around the city a breeze. Even as a first-timer to Ishigaki, I felt very comfortable getting around. Breakfast was served from 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM at ”Toreador” on the first floor, a Japanese and Western-style buffet. I used it and was pleased to find a good selection of Okinawan dishes, like Goya Champuru and Okinawa Soba, really adding to the vacation feel. It was great that it opened early, allowing plenty of time to eat even before heading out to the islands. The breakfast ticket system was well-managed, and the instructions at check-in were clear, so there was no confusion. My room was generally clean and had a calm atmosphere. While the facilities weren't brand new, they were well-maintained and comfortable. The bed was comfortable, and I was able to get a good rest after tiring days of sightseeing. Being on a higher floor was also a plus, as I wasn't bothered much by outside noise and enjoyed a peaceful stay. The staff were very polite and helpful, and both check-in and check-out were smooth. Their explanations for sightseeing and hotel facilities were easy to understand, which was reassuring. I feel that this kind of attentive service significantly enhances the overall satisfaction of the stay. Overall, the hotel offers an excellent balance of location, convenience, price, and service. I'd particularly recommend it to anyone planning to visit the outlying islands. Even including the actual breakfast and use of the public bath, my satisfaction was high. It's a reliable base for an Ishigaki Island stay. I would definitely want to stay here again on my next visit to Ishigaki.

Facility was alright. The room was functional with all necessities available. There was even a small balcony as well but not really usable due to close proximity to the other buildings in the area. Good choices available for breakfast - but if you have stayed in the other breakfast hotel (i.e. the Porto) then you might be a bit disappointed with the choices available here (no sashimi). Yet the staff in the restaurant really goes the extra mile to serve you so that's a plus (you need to know a bit of Japanese tho) For those plans without breakfast they would provide you with a smoothie everyday as well so that's a good point. Distance is the main advantage of this hotel as it is located right inside the heart of the city centre, very easy to access all locations in the city centre and surrounded by izakayas and eateries. Limited Parking available tho so you might have to park in those paid car parks nearby (with that said those car parks are very popular as well...)

Fuku-chan, Nicole and 2 cats, algae balls and boiled beans were gently welcomed, and the number of days of stay passed in no time. It is a very satisfying inn and recommended to everyone. The interior and exterior are very nice. I feel like 〜 I came to the resort. I used the parking lot for renting a car. The living room is clean and comfortable. The bed futon was very fluffy and I could sleep well. The area is very convenient location if you have a car rental. It is very close to Fusaki Beach and you can walk to the beach (passing the main building of Fusaki Beach Resort, especially no procedures). I had breakfast. The dishes that are particular about each ingredient and seasoning will heal your mind and body. We have never experienced it, but we can receive healing treatments and Yoga. It is an inn that I want to visit again.
