Good location. Just a five minute walk from Itaewon station. Lots of eateries around. The hotel is situated on a hill so pushing your luggage up can be tiring. Room is small and there is not much space for a large luggage. Bathroom does not have separate wet and dry areas so after a shower the room will be wet. Fortunately it dries up very quickly and so was not an issue for us. We were disappointed with housekeeping as our room was not cleaned daily even though we requested for it. We even had to request for an additional towel daily as only one was given for a 2 person room. Breakfast is good with varieties.

The hotel's location is great, not far from Sinsa Station and surrounded by many restaurants. The room wasn't small, and the bathroom was huge with a bathtub, so you could shower or soak. The water pressure was also excellent. I was surprised they even provided toothbrushes, as most hotels in Korea no longer do. They also stocked hair gel, toner, and other amenities, which was a really nice touch. They were very generous with the bottled water, providing 4 bottles daily. The only issue was right after checking in, maybe because they registered a male guest, I received many strange phone calls. My female companion answered a few times, and they eventually stopped. Later, I realized there might be a spa downstairs that offers other services.
When staying at EXTAY-chungmuro, you'll be perfectly positioned to explore Jung-gu.
This property also offers free luggage storage.

The accommodation looks exactly like the photos and is super clean! I really loved the view of Namsan Tower from the room, so romantic!
The kitchen is well-equipped for a simple breakfast with toast, jam, milk, and orange juice. There's even a water dispenser, so I didn't have to drink the water I'd bought beforehand. The hairdryer has a strong airflow, and the bathroom is spotless! I had mistakenly thought there would be a TV, but there wasn't, so I couldn't watch videos at the accommodation and ended up watching them on my phone with my friend.
Aside from that, the electric blanket was wonderfully warm, ensuring a cozy night's sleep. Free laundry and drying facilities are also available. There were a lot of international guests, which made it feel like I was abroad even though I was in Korea.
One thing to note: there are many stairs from the entrance, so my friend and I struggled quite a bit with our heavy luggage when checking in. I'd only recommend it for those with light luggage. Lastly, the Bluetooth speaker in the living room was on all night, and the sound was quite disruptive. It's not that there's no soundproofing, but because it was so quiet in the early morning, the sound seemed even louder. My friends also asked what the noise was, and after investigating, we realized it was the speaker, so we turned it off and finally got some sleep.

The location is absolutely fantastic! It's super convenient with three subway lines nearby, making it easy to get anywhere, and it's also very close to the airport shuttle stop. Plus, there are tons of convenience stores around, which is great for shopping.
However, the soundproofing in the rooms is really, really bad. Every night, I could hear girls chatting and laughing from different rooms until 2 or 3 AM. (Aside from a few screams and loud laughs, most of it was just regular conversation volume, but the soundproofing was so poor that I could hear everything clearly.) Since there are no staff members at night, if it got too noisy, I had to ask them to be quiet myself.
Surprisingly, I didn't have any issues with the renovation smell or general noise that other reviews mentioned; their impact was minimal. Also, even though I was staying alone in a double room, I still found it a bit cramped. No wonder I saw girls from other rooms openly organizing their luggage in the hallway...
I took the room photos after I had tidied up before leaving. I do appreciate having a table and mirror, which were convenient for putting things down and doing makeup. The fourth floor also offers free instant noodles, hot drinks, and a washing machine, which is a nice bonus.

The room that I checked in is not even close to the room that I booked (deluxe double room). Staff said every deluxe double room is different but completely different from what they posted and can’t change it due to all full. But everything else is pretty good. Cleanliness and location are great. Subway station(Line 4) are 10 minutes away by walking.
Wonderful motel near 3 metro stations. We spent here a great week. As many reviews said, it's host is a helpful and kind woman. She let us wash all our clothes in her washing machine and a dryer twice. She treated us with fruits and gave juice cans. She even got up at 4:30 AM to say good bye!
The room is small, but cozy and clean, with a fridge and a warm sheet on a bad, the bathroom is clean too. A microwave and a cooler are in the hall.
We like this place and thank the amazing host!

I really enjoyed it here. It's very clean, comfortable, and strategically located. There are lots of places to eat around the hotel, and across from the hotel is market and Street Food.
Only 3 minus walk to/from subway station.
I would stay here again.
Thank you for the hospitality

The hotel is conveniently located near Wangsimni Station, just a 3-minute walk from exits 1 or 2. If you have luggage, using the escalator at exit 3 or the elevator near exit 6 (both within a 10-minute walk) makes it much easier to get to.
The room had a circular bed, not the rectangular one shown in the pictures. It was quite large, easily big enough for two people. I barely noticed the typical Korean bathroom smell, though the shower drain was a bit clogged, which was a minor issue. The hairdryer was in a drawer; it was a little noisy but powerful enough to dry my hair effectively!
At night, the heating was on constantly, making the room quite dry. I found that turning off the bathroom fan helped make it more comfortable. Behind the front desk, there was a lounge area with a coffee machine, a hot water dispenser for cup noodles, a microwave, and more, all available for guests to use freely. This was also the only place where free Wi-Fi was available.
Room cleaning can be requested at the front desk when you head out in the morning. If you leave used bath towels and trash outside your door, they will be collected. You can also get fresh bath towels from the front desk if you ask. I'd read some reviews mentioning mold, but upon closer inspection, it was minimal, so if you're sensitive, you might want to bring your own. They provided enough room wear for everyone.
There were several bottled waters in the fridge, and you could freely grab more from a dispenser near the front desk, which was a great perk. All the staff were incredibly kind and wonderful. I'd definitely like to stay here again! Thank you!

This place has an unbeatable location, right near Dongdaemun Subway Station, making it super convenient to get around. You can even walk to Gwangjang Market. To get to the hostel, it's about a 3-minute walk from Dongdaemun Station Exit 7 (Line 4) or Exit 6 (Line 1). The main door on the ground floor is easy to open. You check in on the 2nd floor after going up the stairs. Our room was on the top floor, requiring another flight of stairs, but since my family and I had light luggage, it wasn't an issue and we didn't need any help.
The hostel offers drinking water, a coffee machine, and a ramen dispenser. We were always too full to try them, but it shows how thoughtful the staff are. The ramen comes in three clearly labeled spice levels: non-spicy, mild, and medium spicy.
Inside the room, the beds were comfortable, and toiletries were provided. However, the bathroom is quite small, with only a tiny area in front of the sink for showering. If you mind wet floors, you might want to bring your own slippers.
P.S. There are no USB outlets in the room, but they do provide an adapter with three different charging cable types. I'd recommend bringing your own adapter so you and your travel companions can charge separately more conveniently.
Overall, we had a good stay, and it offers great value for money. We'd definitely choose this place again if we have the chance. A big thank you to all the staff!

My wife and I booked this hotel for our cherry blossom viewing trip to Seoul during the Qingming Festival. After a long search on Trip.com, we finally decided on the Grand Hyatt Seoul, and it truly proved to be worth every penny of its high price!
Firstly, getting to the Grand Hyatt from Incheon Airport is incredibly convenient. You just need to buy a bus ticket at the airport, and it takes you directly to the hotel lobby entrance. The bus driver was very helpful with our luggage, and upon arrival, the bellhops were also very enthusiastic in guiding us through check-in and assisting with our bags.
However, after checking in and getting to our room, we were truly amazed. The view outside the window was absolutely breathtaking – I'd even go so far as to say it's the best room in all of Seoul for views of Namsan (perhaps even *the* best). This view alone practically makes the hotel room rate worth it. Furthermore, the hotel's facilities are up to international five-star luxury hotel standards. The restaurant in the hotel lobby requires reservations, and its backdrop is the entire Seoul city skyline, which is quite spectacular.
The hotel staff's service attitude is excellent; every team member is enthusiastic, professional, and also quite attractive (which probably has something to do with Koreans' emphasis on appearance). Additionally, getting to popular attractions like Namsan, Gyeongbokgung, and Hongdae from the Grand Hyatt is very easy and convenient by Uber. Overall, if you have the budget, I highly recommend this hotel!

Great
RRoger Ow YongFirst time in Seoul and stay in hotel. Hotel was excellent: receptionist is helpful and courteous. Check in and out is fast. Hotel facilities is excellent too. Water pressure is high, with separate restrooms. Living room had a sliding door to close to separate restrooms and washing basin. Had a small vacancy is more than enough. Location is the best walking distance 2-3mins to hongdiv MRT station exit 9. Overall is professional and high standard of living. I surely with stay again for next trip to Seoul never regret . I like make commitment to housing keeping for the well done, receptionist will help to call taxi for customer . Well done !
TTharunKlWe had an exceptional stay at Nine Tree Premier Hotel Insadong by Parnas. The biggest highlight is its unbeatable central location everything you could possibly need is right at your doorstep. From shopping and great food options to easy access to buses and the subway, it truly doesn’t get more convenient than this.
The hotel is modern, very clean, and well-maintained, making it perfect for a comfortable stay, especially when traveling with family. The vibrant Insadong area adds even more charm, with plenty to explore just by stepping out.
The staff were professional, friendly, and always ready to assist, which made our experience seamless.
While it’s not overly pricey, it offers excellent value for money and is absolutely worth what you pay.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting Seoul!
GGuest UserThe hotel boasts convenient transportation. You can take the airport bus to and from the airport, and the drop-off point is also where you catch the return bus, which is super handy. I took bus 6015 and got off at Myeongdong Station. After getting off, you'll see Subway Exit 8. Head towards Exit 8, and at the first intersection, turn right and walk straight. (Make sure you don't go past the CU convenience store; it's actually right opposite Exit 8.) It's quite close, just a few hundred meters walk. The hotel is also very close to our embassy, which gave me extra peace of mind. Every morning, I could see the embassy from my window seat. The room was a bit small; opening a 28-inch suitcase made it feel a bit cramped, but the hotel's cleanliness was good. The soundproofing was excellent; even though it's in lively Myeongdong, it was very quiet at night, which was fantastic.
GGuest UserMy stay at HOTEL BOTANIK's Deluxe King Room in Myeongdong exceeded my expectations. The room had a modern, apartment-style feel with brand new facilities and full amenities, making it ideal for those planning a longer stay in Seoul.
The in-room amenities were definitely the highlight. The air conditioning had a control panel for temperature adjustment, and it came equipped with an AirDresser, a washer-dryer combo, a separate fridge and freezer, an induction hob, and a microwave oven. Inside the cabinets, there was even a wine cooler, wine glasses, and mugs, giving it the feel of a small boutique apartment. Charging was also convenient, with both USB and Type-C outlets available, and the bidet toilet had a full range of functions. The bathroom featured a wet/dry separation design, and the water pressure was consistent, making for a very comfortable shower.
However, there were a few things to note:
The kitchenware provided was quite basic, with only two plates, which might be insufficient if you plan to do a lot of cooking. Also, laundry detergent wasn't provided in the room, but you could purchase it at the front desk if needed.
There are several construction sites near the hotel, but surprisingly, the soundproofing was excellent during my stay, with no noticeable noise at night. My sleep quality was quite peaceful.
Overall, this hotel is more of a ”high-functional type” accommodation. The facilities are new and highly practical, feeling more like staying in a well-designed apartment than a traditional hotel. It made for a very comfortable stay.
GgobacktonovemberThe hotel is very nice + very newly designed hotel.
Pros:
-nearby the sinsa station/area (but required around 5-7 minutes walk there)
-Big and cozy bed for two people
-Toilet with good warm water
-Good amenities
-Good space for 2 luggages to fit (big ones)
-Has a very nice cafe on the rooftop to see seoul city
-Able to see seoul towel from our room!
What to improve/Take note:
-the staff service at night can’t really speak english so sometimes I don’t understand what they say abiutbthe deposit when checking in.
-No microwave/only fridge available
-The walkway is actually on the slope/hills (the picture doesn’t show that much that the hotel is on the hill so anyone who has big luggages or on snow time it is recommended to book an uber on the winter time)
AAmelaineWe enjoyed our stay at hotel manu. The room was spacious for 3, and did not have odor. I liked that every time they clean it, they leave a fragrant aroma to the room. The place was also quiet and did not have a lot of noise or caused any disturbance. They did not give free toothbrushes, but overall, the room was excellent and clean. They also provide netflix and youtube on the smart tv, which was a plus for us as well. Overall, we had an enjoyable stay.
BBokexierdienThe hotel has a great location. It's just two turns away from Chungmuro Subway Station Exit 8. Airport buses 6105 and 6011 also stop near Exit 8, making it very convenient to get to the hotel.
It's a fully self-service hotel with a self-check-in machine that has Chinese language options, which is super handy.
The room door uses a key code, which is easy to operate. The bathroom is very clean, and there's a slight step down from the toilet area to the shower, which prevents water from splashing out.
Myeongdong is also within walking distance. I would definitely choose this hotel again on my next trip to Seoul.
AAnonymous UserStayed in a twin room in March. It was on the 4th floor, facing the main street with a tower view. The hotel's email after booking made the check-in process clear and easy to understand, which was helpful. Although the pre-arrival information stated that toiletries like shampoo wouldn't be provided, they were actually available in the room. Even though there was no Wi-Fi in the room, they offered pocket Wi-Fi rentals, which made my stay very comfortable. The toilet had a bidet, but the paper couldn't be flushed and had to be put in a trash can. This wasn't a big issue as I was prepared for it beforehand (the trash was collected when the room was cleaned). Considering the convenience, I would definitely consider staying here again.
MmunimunitantanThe room looks exactly like the pictures. The bed was really comfortable and clean, with no strange smells (housekeeping came daily to clean and empty the bins). The bathroom was spacious, making for a pleasant shower experience. We chose a quad room, and there was enough space to spread out my luggage. There are also lockers for valuables, but you need to bring your own padlock. The accommodation is on the third floor with no elevator, so it's a bit of a struggle if you have large luggage like I did. Also, the beds don't have curtains, which can make you feel a bit exposed. Since the room is small, any noise, like using the toilet in the middle of the night, is amplified, and I worried about disturbing others. However, for the price, I'm very satisfied! No complaints at all!
AAllysh@comfortable place...close to dongmyo flea market..have to wait for more money because it's random when walking, wash your eyes at dongmyo flea market..close to laundry..wanting to wash clothes in the middle of the night is ok..,,😂😂😂
