"The location is great, and the surrounding area is pretty good too! The only slight inconvenience is that the front desk isn't on the first floor, but on the third. However, the large coffee shop on the first floor is super convenient for coffee *******, and it's a branded chain that accepts Alipay, so no cash needed – very handy (it's great that Alipay is accepted in most parts of Seoul, though it gets a bit less convenient outside the city). The Korean restaurant on the second floor is also excellent. Right next to the hotel is an Olive Young, so you can shop without having to drag your purchases too far – a big plus! The airport bus stop for transfers to the airport is also just a short walk from the entrance, making airport access really easy. The room has everything you need. For this location, it's perfect!"

"This was my first stay at Shilla Stay Mapo. The front desk and housekeeping staff were all very friendly, the rooms were very clean, and it's conveniently located near the subway station. You can also order delivery, and the hotel provides a table for riders to leave the food boxes on — which is very thoughtful."

"I took my daughter on a trip to Korea, and a friend recommended this hotel before we left. Although the price was a little high, I still booked it. **Transportation:** From Incheon Airport, if you don't have too much luggage, you can easily take the subway. It's very convenient. A subway ticket is around 5,000 Korean won, which is cheaper than a bus ticket. After exiting the subway, it's about an 8-minute walk to the hotel. **Service:** There's a young man at the front desk who can communicate in Chinese. The staff clean the rooms daily and provide two bottles of water in the fridge. Everyone is very polite. **Amenities:** There's a power outlet on the desk that accepts plugs from my home country (only one, see my photo). There's a slow-charging Type-C port by the bed. The room has a mini-fridge, hairdryer, and kettle. The hotel lobby has a self-service currency exchange machine where you can exchange RMB for Korean won (cash only, no Alipay, etc.). However, the exchange rate is slightly higher than at home. **Dining:** Behind the hotel, there's a food street. There are many reviews on Xiaohongshu. I tried chicken soup, Lee Garden, potato and pork bone soup, and tteokbokki. All were delicious. The tteokbokki was very spicy. The portions were generous! **Local Transport:** I used the subway for all my travels (Gongdeok Station and Mapo Station are both accessible); I didn't use buses. Korea has shared bicycles, so those who can download the app might want to try it. Overall, the hotel is good. **P.S.:** Trip.com's service was also good. They helped me communicate with the hotel regarding my booking, which was very helpful."

"I stayed at three hotels this trip, all booked based on recommendations from Xiaohongshu (previously, my clients arranged everything, so I never had to worry and couldn't even remember which hotels I stayed in, considering it's been 6 years!). The Glad Hotel is super convenient; you just come up the elevator from Exit 9 of Konkuk University Station, and it's right there. On the front desk floor (3rd floor), there's also a 7-Eleven where you can buy and top up T-money cards, which is handy. Out of the three hotels this time, Glad was my favorite. However, breakfast ends at 9 AM, and we woke up at 9:30 AM, so we missed it and can't comment on it. The hotel service was very good; it was clean and very quiet, which explains why we slept until 9:30 AM! The hotel's style is a bit like the Andaz in Nanjing. Converters and plugs are available for free at the front desk (though you're required to return them upon check-out)."

"I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. The room facilities were a bit old but well-maintained. Staff cleaned the room and changed towels daily, so it was always spotless. I had requested a quiet room fearing street noise, and the hotel kindly arranged a top-floor room away from the street, which was very peaceful. We were two adults and one child (11 years old), and the family twin room was spacious with no feeling of being cramped. There was a male staff member at the front desk with glasses who provided excellent service; he was always eager to help with any issues and tried his best to communicate. The hotel's location is excellent, with direct access to the subway downstairs. The basement floor offers various dining options, solving any mealtime concerns. The surrounding area is also very convenient, with an E-Mart supermarket and Olive Young nearby. We happened to visit during a heatwave in Korea, but staying here made everything much easier. It was a very satisfying stay!"

"Excellent hotel, highly recommended. You can take Line 5 directly from Gimpo Airport to the hotel, which is just 300 meters from Mapo Station on Line 5, right by the Han River, with Yeouido Island visible across the water. Downstairs, there's a 7-Eleven and several small restaurants. Upon entering, the scenic elevator on the left takes you to the hotel lobby on the 20th floor, offering breathtaking views of the Han River. The official check-in time is 3 PM, but I was able to check in around 2:30 PM. The front desk staff spoke fluent English, making communication seamless, and were very friendly and helpful. They also provided a hotel information sheet in Chinese, making the check-in process incredibly smooth. I booked a Deluxe River View room, and the river view was absolutely stunning. All essential amenities were provided, and I particularly liked the circular bathtub. The mini-bar offered snacks like nuts and chocolates, drinks such as Coke and Sprite, and four types of alcoholic beverages, all for an additional charge. It's worth noting that due to Korean government regulations, disposable dental kits cost 1000 Korean Won per use, and disposable shaving kits also cost 1000 Korean Won per use. The hotel breakfast was of excellent quality, feeling a bit superior to the average five-star hotel in Korea. There was a rich variety of salads, cold cuts, sushi, pastries, and more. There were four types of soup, including spicy beef soup and sweet pumpkin soup, and four hot dishes, such as spicy stir-fried pork and fried chicken/fish pieces. Each table could also order à la carte items like omelets and yogurt bowls. The swimming pool on the 22nd floor is great, with both indoor and outdoor sections that connect. In the evening, the outdoor pool offers spectacular views, perfect for photos."

"It's clean and very close to the subway station. The appliances provided are convenient, so you don't need to bring extra. You can also do laundry. The surrounding area has great amenities, and it's not too far to go out for activities. I recommend it!"

"Amenity is substantial. Cosmetics and emulsion were also complete, and at the reception, we received a set of travel sets such as shampoo, conditioner and cleansing. Apart from the towel in the cherry blossom room, there is a towel in the corridor, which is useful when necessary. There was a water server in the pass corridor, and I thought it was great. A little walk from Sakai Station. I think the bus stop is closer."

"I booked a small twin room. The partition in the changing area only goes one way, so it might be fine if you're staying with someone you're very close to. The toilet door is made of whitish glass and there's no lock. The slippers said 'sanitized' but they lacked a sense of cleanliness. Being directly connected to Yongsan Station was helpful, and I'd recommend it if you're just looking for a place to sleep. Personally, I've learned my lesson. There were toothbrushes in the lobby. The front desk staff were a bit cold. They seemed bothered by questions and responded in single words. The difference between them and the staff at the Novotel right next door is stark."

"We were too tired so we did not take any photos of the room. There were about 5 rooms at a level. The room size was ok. But one thing to be noted was the hotel check-in time was 10pm. Luckily they did offer luggage storage service. The staffs were friendly tho. Otherwise, the hotel was clean and comfortable. Location wise was perfect. Very near to the metro station and also the airport limousine bus station. There were few restaurants nearby and we went to one that opened 24 hours which was very good. Also quite a number of convenience stores nearby. Overall, the stay was not bad."
