"A good option for a budget hotel. It's quite clean and the staff are friendly, but if you check in during the evening, it's self-check-in. At the reception, there's tea, coffee, and even instant noodles available at any time. A significant downside: it's very noisy at night as there's a club in the same building and you can hear the music, but earplugs are provided.)"

"I chose this hotel because I was attending a concert at KSPO and it's a direct subway ride back. Even though I was alone, they gave me a twin room! The hotel's location is a bit dimly lit at night, but the room itself was clean. The toilet and sink had a slight sewage-like smell, but it was tolerable. For just sleeping, it was perfectly satisfactory. They provided a set of amenities, which I used. However, the comb was reusable, so I used my own. My room was on the 3rd floor, and the stairs were a bit difficult to climb. On the first floor, there's a shared space with a coffee machine, washing machine, kitchen, and they even provided light snacks. Overall, I was satisfied."

"Absolutely 100/10! Location: fantastic! 2x metro exits right outside the hotel with the others near by!!! It is close to Ikseon-dong.. less than 1 min walk, Insadong - 2-3 mins walk. Myeongdong - easy 30 mins walk! Location really is amazing! Service: customer service is 5 stars! The reception can all speak English and they were soooo helpful! They always say hello in Korean when they see you! And they helped me locate the correct bus stop towards the airport. If they didn’t help, I would have got the wrong bus stop haha. Cleanliness: can’t complain, I thought housekeeping did a great job! Overall: I WILL ALWAYS STAY HERE FROM NOW ON :) ohhh and there’s a bath tub in the bathroom, it was also a really spacious big bathtub! Everything was great! Definitely one of my favourite stays! I wish they had a gym then it would be superperfect!"

"The hotel is conveniently located close to Jonggak Station, making it super easy to get around and sightsee. It's only two stops from Seoul Station on Line 1, and getting to and from Incheon Airport was a breeze. Plus, with Jongno 3-ga and Dongdaemun nearby, it was great to be able to enjoy late-night dining and shopping before heading back to the hotel. But the absolute highlight was the incredible service from the male owner. He handled my luggage smoothly, chatted with me throughout my stay, and was just incredibly kind and warm. This is definitely a hotel I'd recommend for solo female travelers – I felt completely safe! The room was just as clean as in the photos, and I hardly heard any noise from other rooms, so it was wonderfully quiet. The rooftop on the 11th floor was also a lovely touch and became one of my favorite spots during my stay. I was completely satisfied with the location, cleanliness, and hospitality. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Seoul."

"This is a hostel with self-check-in. Aside from cleaning staff at designated times, there are basically no services. The Westin Hotel across the street has an airport shuttle, but you have to go up to the first floor to catch it. The only downside is that the bathroom doesn't have a separate wet and dry area, and there isn't even a shower curtain, so the entire bathroom gets soaked after a shower. You have to leave your trash outside the door every morning. Hotels in Seoul are very expensive, so I can overlook the small rooms, but the bathroom design is really something – for the same price, you'd often get breakfast included in Japan."

"We stayed in Seochonbyuldang in February, and loved every single second in there. Tha Hanok was so clean, beautiful, and made us feel like we’re actually in a K-drama 😍 the amenities they provided is excellent. The owner were also very helpful when we asked for information, very quick to respond. The location is also great, near the Gyeongbokgung Palace, train station was also not that far. However, if you bring a lot of luggages, i’d suggest getting a taxi. The taxi can’t stop right in front of your Hanok, since the Hanok is located inside an alleyway, but it wasnt that far from the big road! It was such a great relaxing last day for us and wished we stayed longer in this Hanok. We will stay here again if we come back to South Korea!! "First off, this is a legitimate hotel, not a guesthouse or a self-built inn. It has all the standard hotel amenities. It's definitely a suitable place to stay. Now, regarding the location, don't trust some of the online guides. This area isn't a commercial district or where tourists would typically want to go. It's a wholesale market hub, much like Beijing's Zoo Market or Chengdu's Lotus Pond Market – places that open at night for stocking up and close during the day. Within a two-kilometer radius, there are tens of thousands of tailor shops. Of course, there are some malls that are open during the day, but they're very few, so it's not recommended for tourists to stay here. I chose this place because I was returning to China from Busan, wanted a good night's rest, and needed to go to Gimpo Airport the next day. For everyone else, it's probably best to stick to hotels near Myeongdong; having Lotte Department Store right outside is the way to go. The hotel doesn't provide toothbrushes or toothpaste; you have to buy them from a vending machine. They really don't offer them at all, unlike other hotels where they might not actively provide them but will give them to you if you ask, like a razor. The two beds are roughly the size you'd find in a student dormitory. The breakfast *looked* like it would be good, but the reality was that it ended at 10 AM, with last entry at 9:30 AM. I went around 8:40 AM, and all that was left was sliced bread, sliced baguette, and instant noodles. As for scrambled eggs, bacon fried rice, which should have been there, I didn't see any – they were gone by at least 8:30 AM, and they didn't restock at all. The small pots for dishes in my pictures were all empty. I only managed to eat four small mushrooms. The hotel description mentioned sausages and other items, but there was absolutely nothing. In the end, I had a cup of instant noodles and a glass of grape juice."

"We totally made the right decision by booking this hotel. It's so accessible by train and bus. The airport bus stops 5min walk away from there and so is the train station, Jonggak. There is another train station the other way about 7min walk, Anguk station. The city bus stop is just a few steps from the hotel and there is a convenience store right outside the hotel entrance. It is also a few bus stops away from most attractions like Gyeongbokgung (Palace) and Bukchon, and in fact you can even walk if you want to. Only 2-3 stops away from most of the areas we wanted to visit. Super central location. The room and bathroom are clean, and bed is comfortable. Four of us stayed comfortably in a family room (2 single bed, 1 double bed), with space to open our luggage. 2 sinks in the bathroom was helpful too. The receptionist also allowed us to check in early because the room was ready early and it helped a lot. I booked a single room the night before, and was also upgraded to a double room. So grateful. Truly enjoyed my stay here. Thank you."

"The accessibility was great, being close to Seoul Station and Myeongdong, with several bus stops nearby. However, the small locker with a key and the space for luggage were very cramped. I had to go out into the hallway to open my suitcase and organize my belongings. On the second day, when I returned to the hotel, I found my suitcase, which I had left on the floor, moved to the top shelf. This made me feel very uncomfortable. Also, on the second day, the hot water suddenly stopped while I was showering, and only cold water came out. I was also troubled by the lack of a towel when showering, but they quickly replenished it, which was a huge help."

"The room was very clean and new. The location was excellent, close to many attractions like Gyeongbokgung Palace and Cheonggyecheon Stream, both within walking distance. It's also very close to the airport bus stop, making travel to and from the airport super easy, without having to lug luggage too far. The housekeeper was very kind; she always smiled when we saw her. Since we arrived early, she promptly cleaned our room for us to check in. There's a communal kitchen with hot and cold water, coffee, snacks, and banana milk available at all times. They even provide a washing machine with detergent, which was incredibly convenient. The bathroom was well-equipped with a heater, hairdryer, toothbrushes, toothpaste, bath towels, and hand towels. ❤️ Overall, I was very impressed! I'll definitely choose to book here again for my future trips to Seoul."
