Review: Copthorne Cameron Highlands
Stayed here after booking through Trip.com and managed to get a really good price, definitely worth it for the value.
The highlight of my stay was the beautiful view from the balcony. The scenery was very calming, especially with the cool Cameron Highlands weather – memang best untuk relax. The room was comfortable and spacious, plus having a bathtub made the stay even more enjoyable.
Check-in and check-out process was smooth and hassle-free. Staff were friendly and easy to deal with, which made everything more convenient.
Parking was also easy to find, which is a big plus. The location is very strategic as it is close to Kea Farm and other attractions, so senang nak jalan-jalan without needing to travel far.
Overall, the hotel offers a peaceful environment with nice views, good facilities, and a convenient location. Definitely a good choice for a short getaway in Cameron Highlands.

This is a self check in hotel and it's fortunate the check in process is very fluid and hassle free.
Given the price paid, I'd say it's worth every penny. The room is large, has a decent living room, balcony, dry kitchen and many amenities.
Also, it's near to the Boh plantation and mossy forest trail. You don't need to walk far for food, convenience store and so on, if you don't feel like it.
The parking is not free though so it'll actually cost quite a lot if you decide to drive in and out a few times a day. Even though maximum charge is RM5.30 or day, I incurred maybe over RM12 as I need to go out a few times.

We had a pleasant stay at Kea Garden Mini Chalet. The bedroom was comfortable and clean, including the toilet and bathroom, which were also well-maintained and tidy. There is a prayer room provided for guests, making it convenient for Muslim visitors. There is also a small store where you can buy food and snacks. The service was satisfying, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, the room condition was good and I was satisfied with the stay. However, I encountered several issues with the front desk staff that require clarification and resolution.
1. I repeatedly asked during check-in and again before check-out whether my booking had already been paid through TA. Each time, the staff confirmed that the payment had already been charged by the TA. However, after my stay, I received a message stating that the payment was collected at the property. This is very confusing and inconsistent with the information provided by your staff.
2. Secondly, I am a Malaysian citizen, but I was charged RM10 for tourist tax. As Malaysians are exempt from tourist tax, this charge should not have been applied. After clarifying with the staff, they voided the transaction and charged me again.

Very strategic place to stay. The price is also very affordable, which makes it a great option for budget travelers.
However, my room was on the 3rd floor, We had to use the stairs, which was a bit inconvenient especially when carrying luggage and when going out. Parking can also be a little difficult to find at times.

very strategic location right opposite of the Palas Boh Tea Plantation entry route. Convenient with Watson's, 7Eleven and Old Town White Coffee restaurant including TF Value Mart supermarket. the unit is very well maintained, clean, equipped with basic kitchen utensils such as cups, plates. others such as bath amenities, towels, slippers and wifi as well. shower water is heated up fast and hot. the balcony has a great sunrise view with a movable table and two chairs. will be back again. cheers.

GGuest UserI feel that the price of RM350 per night for a standard room is slightly high considering the facilities provided. There are a few areas that could be improved.
Firstly, the room does not have air conditioning, which makes it quite warm and uncomfortable at night when the sliding door is closed. Opening the door helps with airflow, but it allows insects to enter the room. It would be helpful if the hotel could install a net on the sliding door, especially if there are NO plans to add air conditioning in the future. Additionally, the room lacks proper ventilation, as there is no blower available to improve air circulation. Another point to note is that Netflix services are not provided in the room, which may be a drawback for guests looking for in-room entertainment.
On a positive note, the hotel offers complimentary breakfast for children under 12, which is a great value. The breakfast selection was enjoyable and the kitchen team deserves recognition for their good work. Furthermore, guests can request a late check-out on weekdays, subject to availability. While this is a nice gesture, the extension is only until 1:00 PM.

GGuest UserLocation: Perfect as middle of Cameron. Easy to access Mall and variety of foods.
Service: Firstly, the owner or management gave wrong location. Secondly, the key was located on P1 post box but lift at P2. Thirdly, at Lift B got 1 lift only, need to wait for very long to go to Homestay.
Cleanliness: No complaint on it.
Facilities: All good as the management prepared food amenities with fridge, cooker and electric stove. Other than that bed and room amenities perfect but the Entertainment system sucks, the TV useless for Indians as only got 1 channel to access other than that the TV and Room Fan remotes malfunctions. The balcony table is not there as on example.
Anyway, i loved the location with surrounding entertaining areas and view from the balcony and window.

1. It maybe a concern to light sleepers as it's near to the Cameron Centrum and shop lots, there'll be noises during the night.
2. The slope of parking zone is quite narrow but the good point is 1 complimentary parking space is entitled (Charges be made for additional cars).
In overall, we're satisfied with the stay. 😊

GGuest UserIt’s pretty well located: near Brinchang, quite close to attractions like Kea Farm, tea plantations, markets, and scenic areas. The hotel is also linked or very near a mall/shopping arcade, convenience stores are just a short walk. That can be very helpful with children. Noise from outside or from adjacent rooms/apartments can be bothersome, but is fine since we come here for outing and attractions. Finally the traffic outside is too congested, not the hotels fault but too many visitors come to cameron highlands nowaday, it's an hour drive from one place to another within short distance.
