Hotels near Nu Sentral Mall, Kuala Lumpur

Check in was quick and simple. The place was nice and cosy, and the bathroom and shower were clean. The view from the 45th floor was breathtaking, and I enjoyed admiring the scenery at night. We were also able to access the pool and gym. Location is perfect, within walking distance from KL Sentral.

The location is about a 10-minute walk from the station. There's a Hwa Morning Market/food court nearby. Remember to bring cash as they only accept cash for the deposit. It's very suitable for travelers with early morning flights.

The hotel was clean and most staff were kind. We did have an issue with the room. The photos on here make it look like the couch in the king room is big enough for someone to sleep on (we have a 12 year old) it was not. Not only was it not it was not even close and was more of a chair for 1 not a couch. When I complained the manager was rude and dismissive and I had to pay for a room upgrade. The picture shows what the hotel claims is there. It is not that big!

Best of all, the room rates are highly competitive. If you’re looking for an affordable stay without compromising too much on comfort and quality, this hotel is definitely worth considering.

My first time here at Easy Hotel. Everything is Easy just like the hotel’s name. Easy access to public transportation (next to monorail KL Sentral station), mamak restaurant, Nu sentral mall & convinience store; all is walking distance. Hotel staffs are so friendly and polite, they welcoming each guests with smile. The room also comfortable, clean & amenities are all provided. Big thanks to housekeeper (Bilal) for tidy up our room super clean. Whenever we enter our room after the whole day going out, it feels like the room is the “new room” for us 🥹 May Allah bless all of you & I will recommend this hotel to my families & friends. Definitely will stay here again soon 🥰

Staying at Cozy was easily one of the best decisions we made. We’ve stayed at other hotels in the area, but Cozy truly stands out. The hospitality was exceptional and we felt genuinely acknowledged every time we arrived or left the property. Special thanks to Mr Rafiq and Mr Mosharraf their friendliness and warm welcome made our stay memorable. They are among the best hotel staff we have ever met

Extremely strategic location, KL CENTRAL. That’s one of the reason I choose NU HOTEL. Easy for me to hop on to any Monorails or KTMs or MRTs. It’s a Little India area, and there’s Indian food with roti canai and teh Tarik when u come down from your hotel. The room is not that big, compared to normal hotel, but just nice for night rest after one whole day wandering around KL CITY. In addition, despite the size, the room is clean and it’s not noisy at all. Just cross the bridge and you will reach NU CENTRAL. Very convenient.

Customer service deserves a standing ovation—especially the woman at the front desk. She was kind, patient, and genuinely helpful, and I’ll forever be grateful for her grace and professionalism. The location is also a win: most things are walkable, and Grab/Uber pickups were fast and easy every time. Now… the room. And honestly, I blame the reviews I read before booking because they were generous. My room reminded me of a halfway house—functional, sure, but not exactly comforting. The shower had visible dirt in the corners, and when I wiped it with a towel and the grime came right off, that told me all I needed to know. The smell was a strange mix of dust, mothballs, and old gym socks. I checked in with half a roll of toilet paper (which felt bold), and the TV stand wobbled every time I walked past it—I was genuinely afraid to breathe too hard. I  shared my concerns with the front desk, and to their credit, I was moved to another room. The second room was slightly better—not amazing, but an improvement. Since I was only in Malaysia for a couple of days, I chose to give grace and keep it moving. Checkout is at 12 PM, but the front desk kindly allowed me to stay until 3 PM at no extra charge—so a win is a win. Would I stay here again? No. But I am glad I crossed paths with such a gracious and accommodating front desk receptionist, because she truly made the experience better than it otherwise would have been.

We’re there for the New Year’s Eve. Check-in was smooth but one of the room cards wasn’t working to power the room. And we had to change it at the reception. However, the receptionist first gave a rather ironic response to say the room card was working. If it’s working, why would we wanted to make a change? The room was spacious with great amenities for bathroom and kitchen. The couch was too soft to sit on that made us hard to sit right. I’m below 50kg though… everything in the room was just fine but the wall corners of the bathroom were not clean, the switches on the shower were wobbling and the bathtub had problems with letting the water out that we had to call to the receptionist for a technician to fix it. Breakfast had very little choices and it’d be better not to include breakfast for longer stay unless you are in a hurry on business trip. I’ve stayed at other Ascott apartments in Singapore and Guangzhou. Both were excellent but clearly this Ascott Sentral has a lot of room to improve.

The hotel is central located and close to transport. Staff are helpful but could be a bit more friendly. The Nu Sentral mall behind the hotel is a bonus for the stay, as one can find big shops like Mr. DIY etc, and a lot of eateries inside the mall.
