Hhxyz- great accommodation for backpackers - room is spacious (can open both luggage and keep them under the bed), great view of Lake Wakatipu to - street parking just outside of Haka House is free but very limited. ended up paying $15 per night for parking within Haka House (there’s limited lots as well) - there’s stairs from reception area to the first floor. have to carry luggage up a small flight of stairs before being able to access the lift - communal kitchen is big and spacious for 6 groups to cook at the same time

CCO518The handsome men and beautiful women at the front desk genuinely and sincerely helped guests with their questions and needs. My three-night stay was truly fantastic! The rooftop offers stunning mountain and lake views, and the cozy fireplace makes you feel like you're in a secluded paradise. Getting around is super convenient. After leaving Queenstown Airport, you only need to walk about 100 meters to find the #1 public transport bus. Remember to buy a transport card at the airport bookstore beforehand; it's very convenient and cheap, especially if you're traveling alone or with one other person. One card is all you need. To get to this hotel (Leloo Hotel), take the bus from the airport. After about 20 minutes, get off at Stanley Street, which is a major transport hub, just a 4-minute walk from the hotel. You'll know it's the right stop because it's at the bottom of a big downhill road, with a large park on your right. The bus stops are conveniently divided into A, B, and C sections. Getting to Arrowtown only takes 25 minutes and costs 2.5 New Zealand dollars. There are many popular, Instagrammable shops nearby, like Fergburger. Even if you're vegetarian, don't worry, they all have Chinese menus.

JJulesTClean, tidy, and generally comfortable stay. The room was quite compact, but there was just enough space to store and open large suitcases, and there are heavy drawers under the bed for storage (no lock provided). The building itself is narrow and compact, with quite a few stairs required to access the kitchen, bathrooms, lounge areas, and some rooms, which may be inconvenient for those with heavy luggage or limited mobility. Our ground-floor room was directly below the shower units, and with thin walls, noise from water running, footsteps, and street traffic (as it’s centrally located on a main road) was noticeable. Light sleepers may find this disruptive. Facilities are good, with two shared kitchens (stovetops, toaster, microwave, kettle, fridge, cutlery, and crockery), indoor and balcony seating areas, and a large lounge (TV plays DVDs only). There are multiple shared unisex bathrooms, including single units and a space with two showers and toilets. This may not suit everyone. Cleaned in the morning but gets dirty by end of day. On a positive, there are plenty of bath mats, liquid soap, and a hair dryer are provided. Laundry is available via QR code payment (around $6 per wash or dry), and on-site parking is offered at $40 per night. Towel available for hire ($4). Staff super friendly.

YYuyijintianyekaixinlemaI highly recommend this hotel! Location: It's a 10-minute walk to the town center and a 5-minute walk to the lake. There's a direct bus from the airport that stops right at the hotel's doorstep, and the bus to the airport is on the same side of the street, which is super convenient! Cleanliness: The hygiene is excellent, and the bedding is made up daily. All the kitchenware is provided, so it's easy to cook meals. Ambiance: The environment is absolutely stunning! You can see the lake from the room, even when the weather isn't great. The only downside is that it's a bit pricey, but Queenstown is a popular tourist destination, and everything is expensive during peak season, so I still think it offers pretty good value for money.

AAmber Jong“Fantastic stay – highly recommend!” I had an excellent stay at the Cambridge Hotel. The location is perfect, within easy walking distance to major attractions, restaurants, and public transport. The room was clean, modern, and very comfortable, with a great city view from the balcony. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay, always going above and beyond to assist with any requests. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. The facilities were also impressive, especially the indoor pool and overall cleanliness of the hotel. Everything felt well-maintained and welcoming. Overall, this hotel offers great value for money, combining comfort, convenience, and excellent service. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

YYuzixiahuazhenhaochiI specially booked the Superior Lakefront King Room, and it totally lived up to my expectations! The full wall of floor-to-ceiling windows provides unobstructed lake views, and the sunset glinting on the water creates an absolutely magical vibe. The oversized king-size bed ensured a wonderfully restful sleep. The bathroom has separate wet and dry zones, and the room feels spacious without being cramped. The hotel is peacefully located away from the noisy downtown area. The lakeside trail right outside offers breathtaking scenery for strolls. The staff respond promptly to all requests, and all facilities are well kept. If you visit Queenstown, the lakefront king room is an absolute must-book!

YYliyaQuiet hostel, no unnecessary noise. Everything is quite basic, but perfectly fine for a couple of nights. The room is clean, beds are comfortable, nothing fancy. Common areas are decent. The staff is friendly. The only thing is, you can tell it's a budget option, without any special frills. But if you just need a place to sleep, it's perfectly acceptable.

GGuest UserWhere do I start - from arriving until leaving we had the most amazing stay here. We had a family room which was so spacious - the beds were huge and it’s cosy! The blowout curtains had us sleeping in more than it should’ve 😆 We had breakfast with our stay and it did not dissapoint there was such a selection from savoury to sweet and more! Love it coffee and juices included just amazing The gym was so well equipped mlre than I’d expect so was pleasantly surprised and the equipment was all up to scratch and working smoothly The spa was beautiful 🤩 The sauna was also good but it wasn’t as hot as would usually expect It would be amazing if the bigger pool was heated so more ppl could enjoy swimming around together but it wasn’t like a cold plunge perfect for those who enjoy it after a sauna The location is beautiful right near town a little walk away and parking was well priced and easy enough to organise Thanks so much for having myself and my family It made our stay that much more memorable

11376100****Great location, nice staff and clean room service. The facilities are quite old, not that solid bed, the sockets are quite away from your bed, the lockers are mini and some of them are broken. But the toilet and bathroom are separate, which is useful in busy time. It is kind of noisy but my ear plugs works. This is not a problem for me. So it could be a good choice if location is important for you.
