"What I like with this hotel is the location. It's accessible to the mall, only walking distance.
What I don't like was the TV channels isn't working, and we can here the people on the other rooms... Only 1 lift is working as well. But overall it's just fine"
"Definitely recommend this hotel! I have business in Manila for a week and I stayed here for 5 nights, and it was very convenient since it's located close to my work office. It's also near Robinsons Manila, Malate, and several great cafés around the area.
The staff were very accommodating and friendly. Despite being in a busy part of the city, the hotel is peaceful and quiet inside, making it a relaxing place to stay.
I will definitely book this hotel again the next time I come to Malate, Manila for businesses or in holiday :)"
"I had a very pleasant stay, especially because of the hotel’s highly convenient location. It is situated near Rosh Hotel Manila, making it ideal for those attending trainings or official activities in the area. It is also easily accessible to nearby establishments such as Robinsons Place Manila, as well as various bars, coffee shops, convenience stores like 7-Eleven, and a wide selection of food options ~ perfect whether you’re working, relaxing, or exploring the city.
What stood out the most was the exceptional service of the staff. The service crew were consistently polite, accommodating, and welcoming, which made the stay even more comfortable.
The rooms were clean and maintained, providing a cozy space to rest after a busy day. One area for improvement would be the internet connectivity, which could be more stable and reliable.
Overall, this is a great budget-friendly lodging option that offers excellent value for money, especially if you’re looking for accessibility, comfort, and warm hospitality in Manila.
I would definitely book this hotel again if i had to ☺️ Hope that they would improve on the different aspects of their services such as internet connection.
DAGHANG SALAMAT!"
"To be honest we change room 2x! The TV was broken at first.. and then next the aircon ! I cant imagine we transfer room at 3:30am what a hassle.. no signal in our room and very slow connection of wifi!
The place is infront of the mall thats the good thing. You can rome arounf the mall when u have free time.. The place is also near the quiapo church and chinatown"
"We had a pleasant stay at Swiss-Belhotel. The cleanliness is very good and comfortable. For the location, I would give it 4/5. It’s convenient overall, but it would be better if the hotel were located directly along the highway or main road, as this would make it easier to access and more convenient for guests traveling around the area.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the cleanliness and comfortable atmosphere of the hotel."
"I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the hotel and exploring the surrounding area. While the facilities didn't quite meet my expectations, they were functional enough for my stay. However, the service needs improvement, particularly regarding room cleanliness and consistent provisioning of toiletries. Overall, it was a peaceful and secure experience."
"Pros:
The hotel is conveniently located near the Embassy of the United States, Manila Bay, Rizal Park, and the National Museum.
Cons:
The room had a musty smell and I noticed tiny cockroaches, so the hotel could improve pest control and ventilation. There was no cabinet for clothes, only a hanging rod placed above the table where the water and kettle were located, which felt impractical. Dental kits and slippers were available, but only upon request.
Overall:
Good location, but the room maintenance and storage setup could be improved for a more comfortable stay."
"This is an average hotel, but the location is excellent, making it incredibly convenient for transportation and dining. What truly stands out is their exceptional management and service. The staff are warm, welcoming, and very attentive, always greeting you with a smile. The rooms are spotless, the hallways are pristine, and it's very quiet. I'd definitely recommend it to friends!"
"My stay at Manila Lotus Hotel was a pleasant and comfortable experience. The staff were very accommodating and welcoming, always ready to assist with any requests, which made the stay even more enjoyable.
The hotel’s location is very convenient, especially for travelers who want easy access to key spots around Manila like the US Embassy - 10mins walk. It’s close to restaurants, shopping areas, and tourist attractions, making it a great base for exploring the city.
The room was clean, well-maintained, and provided a relaxing atmosphere after a long day out. It felt safe and comfortable, which is something I truly value when traveling.
Overall, Manila Lotus Hotel offers great value for money with its excellent service, strategic location, and cozy accommodations. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Manila and would gladly stay here again."

Great
GGuest UserThe Manila Hotel has an old but elegant and luxurious style. Marble and stone finishing, tall ceilings and a grand piano at the back with a musician playing pleasant music greets you as you walk through the entrance.
Lacking points from my personal experience:
1. The carpet floors need to be replaced. I had to change rooms because the first room I got had an unpleasant smell to it (they quickly changed my room after I went to the reception, so it wasn't terrible) and although I didn't notice until the end of my stay, the new room's carpet was frayed at the edges.
2. The night mode of the lights (many switches) completely cuts power to the power outlets. I didn't know and ended up waking up to a phone and power bank with a dying battery and needing to stay in the hotel a couple of hours until they finished charging. Maybe just a warning in the future?
The good parts:
1. The service! People are SO accommodating, pleasant and efficient. Reception staff, waiters, bell boys and basically everyone greets you with a smile and tries to solve any problems with utmost focus and cordiality.
2. Traditional pride. Traditional fashion exhibition at the front was a great touch to my visit. The whole place (restaurants, pools, spa, rooms, etc) add to the experience. I could have stayed in the hotel and felt like I hadn't missed Manila's charm.
3. Excellent location. I realised early on that I could literally see every single thing from my ”1 day tour of Manila” from my hotel room. Nothing says great location like this.
GGuest UserThe hygiene was impeccable, and the facilities were comprehensive. Breakfast is served on the rooftop, an open-air restaurant with a fantastic view. While the variety isn't huge, it's clean and delicious. A great bonus is that you don't need a converter for charging in the Philippines; your domestic chargers work directly.
MMabel G.I Keep coming back to stay in Manila Prince Hotel.very convenient, spacious room, sparkling clean, has complete toiletries and comfy bed..and they have also a delicious breakfast...staff are all very friendly and very accomodating. actually, this is my 4th times staying there already. 1st and 2nd stay was with my family, 3rd and 4th stay was a solo traveller😃
I highly recommended this hotel.
IitsreallyjaineStaying at City Garden Suites Manila turned out to be a great choice for exploring the historic side of Manila.
The location is very convenient — just a short distance from Rizal Park, Intramuros, and shopping areas like Robinsons Place Manila. It made moving around the city easy without long travel time.
The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, perfect for resting after a full day of walking around Manila. What stood out the most was the hospitality of the staff — they were friendly, accommodating, and always ready to help.
If you’re looking for a hotel that balances comfort, location, and affordability, this is definitely a good option when staying in Manila.
YYrag_UAYThe hotel is conveniently located near Chinatown and several popular attractions. The front desk staff are enthusiastic and there are Chinese signs available. The double room was spacious. I suggest adding more variety to the breakfast buffet. It's also within walking distance to the Royal City.
GGuest UserAll staffs are accomodating and punctual, hotel is clean good for its price the pool it has a lot of chorine that why it smells and stay on our skin for long even if you took a shower already. Hotel is near to the place where we want to go church mall etc.near also to some restaurants and transport services.
@@travels8kOne of the most unique hotels in the Philippines, the ocean rooms have a full aquarium wall that's connected through all the rooms of that side. Different fish pass by at different times from room to room. They have great breakfast as well with a view of Manila bay while bacon is available on request for a small fee. Sunset views are awesome and dinner menu is well structured. While most of the hotel is spotless the main corridor outside the rooms could be cleaned more regularly as everyone is passing for there to get to the rooms. There was something odd in the morning just around the end of breakfast time. We could hear the chairs from upstairs being dragged on the wooden floor loudly around 9:30 am to 10:00 am, we were woken up several times as we tried to sleep after an early breakfast. The rest of the time it was whisper quiet and serene.
GGuest UserEvery time i need to stay in Manila it always goes to Sogo Malate, you've not to worry about parking that's the most important to me.. Well I'm a frugal person😁 i just need a shut eye and a nice hot shower, nothing more. Angel's pizza,BPI & Mc Donalds are just around the corner ..
AAnonymous UserThe location was good and very convenient. The room itself was decent, but not very clean—especially the windows, which were quite dusty. In our first room, the air conditioner wasn’t working properly so it was too warm, and we had to request a transfer. Thankfully, the second room had a functioning aircon.
However, we noticed several issues during our stay. Some of our companions had problems with their shower not working, and when they were supposed to be transferred, the next room’s aircon also wasn’t cooling properly. There were quite a few inconveniences overall.
The reception staff didn’t seem very accommodating or responsive to concerns. It may have been due to a high volume of guests, but it would have helped if concerns were acknowledged more promptly. The lobby was also quite warm, which made it uncomfortable not just for guests but also for the staff in corporate attire.
The surroundings can be a bit noisy since the location is close to busy areas. Overall, since this was our first time staying here for a nearby event, we appreciated the convenient location and affordability. However, the overall experience was around 6/10. I hope they can improve the room conditions and address maintenance issues moving forward.
We also didn’t get the chance to take photos of the room for reference. I hope improvements can be made, as the place itself has a lot of potential and the location is really good.
MMartinAxlOur stay at Arzo Hotel - Manila was absolutely wonderful! The staff were warm and accommodating, the rooms were spotless and comfortable, and the location was perfect for exploring the city. Highly recommended!
Accessible to train station, to different sites in Manila like Luneta, Paco Park, National Museum, one station away to Intramuros! ✨
