"I had an amazing solo stay at Ramada by Wyndham Manila Central. The room was spotlessly clean with complete facilities, and the hotel environment was quiet and safe for single travelers. I especially want to praise three hotel staff members: Edward, Paolo and Jessa, They were extremely warm, patient and helpful. They kindly helped me store luggage, gave detailed travel tips about Manila’s attractions, and responded to all my requests quickly. All aspects exceeded my expectations. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next trip to Manila!"

"The hotel's location is excellent, right in the old town. You can walk to all the attractions, so I can overlook the outdated decor. The service was impeccable, definitely living up to its star rating. My only minor complaint is that after I showered, I realized there were no slippers in the room. I had to call the front desk to send some up. Also, I asked for two bottles of water, and was surprised to find them charged to my bill at checkout, which is quite unusual."

"The Manila Hotel has an old but elegant and luxurious style. Marble and stone finishing, tall ceilings and a grand piano at the back with a musician playing pleasant music greets you as you walk through the entrance. Lacking points from my personal experience: 1. The carpet floors need to be replaced. I had to change rooms because the first room I got had an unpleasant smell to it (they quickly changed my room after I went to the reception, so it wasn't terrible) and although I didn't notice until the end of my stay, the new room's carpet was frayed at the edges. 2. The night mode of the lights (many switches) completely cuts power to the power outlets. I didn't know and ended up waking up to a phone and power bank with a dying battery and needing to stay in the hotel a couple of hours until they finished charging. Maybe just a warning in the future? The good parts: 1. The service! People are SO accommodating, pleasant and efficient. Reception staff, waiters, bell boys and basically everyone greets you with a smile and tries to solve any problems with utmost focus and cordiality. 2. Traditional pride. Traditional fashion exhibition at the front was a great touch to my visit. The whole place (restaurants, pools, spa, rooms, etc) add to the experience. I could have stayed in the hotel and felt like I hadn't missed Manila's charm. 3. Excellent location. I realised early on that I could literally see every single thing from my ”1 day tour of Manila” from my hotel room. Nothing says great location like this."

"I really enjoyed my stay here. The employees were very kind, friendly, and attentive. They truly care about their customers and made sure we were comfortable throughout our stay. The hotel room was also very clean and well-maintained. Overall, I had a great experience and would be happy to stay here again."

"The location was good and very convenient. The room itself was decent, but not very clean—especially the windows, which were quite dusty. In our first room, the air conditioner wasn’t working properly so it was too warm, and we had to request a transfer. Thankfully, the second room had a functioning aircon. However, we noticed several issues during our stay. Some of our companions had problems with their shower not working, and when they were supposed to be transferred, the next room’s aircon also wasn’t cooling properly. There were quite a few inconveniences overall. The reception staff didn’t seem very accommodating or responsive to concerns. It may have been due to a high volume of guests, but it would have helped if concerns were acknowledged more promptly. The lobby was also quite warm, which made it uncomfortable not just for guests but also for the staff in corporate attire. The surroundings can be a bit noisy since the location is close to busy areas. Overall, since this was our first time staying here for a nearby event, we appreciated the convenient location and affordability. However, the overall experience was around 6/10. I hope they can improve the room conditions and address maintenance issues moving forward. We also didn’t get the chance to take photos of the room for reference. I hope improvements can be made, as the place itself has a lot of potential and the location is really good."

"We stayed for one night. When I booked the room, it clearly indicated that the maximum capacity was 3 people, and my booking was for 3 guests. The breakfast was also indicated as being for 3 people. However, the booking stated that we could check with the hotel upon arrival if the additional person would be free of charge or subject to an extra fee. I honestly wouldn’t have minded paying for an extra person’s breakfast. However, when we arrived at the hotel and were checking in, I was charged for the third person, even though my booking clearly indicated 3 guests. Apparently, the third person was not included in the amount I paid through Trip.com. It was a bit confusing because what was indicated on the app did not seem to match the actual booking at the hotel. It clearly showed that my reservation was for 3 people. Anyway, we were already there, so there was nothing much I could do except not let it ruin our mood because we just wanted to relax. Now, when we entered the room, the TV was another issue. Almost none of the channels were watchable because the signal was so poor. It felt like we had to search for a signal just to get a clear picture. Nakakaloka! Thankfully, the Wi-Fi worked, and I was able to connect my Apple TV, so at least we were still able to watch something. Another thing happened when my companion accidentally dropped their charger. When they looked under the bed, they found two oranges that seemed to have been left behind by the previous guest. That made us wonder if the rooms were being cleaned properly. There were also no power outlets near the bed and no outlet in the bathroom for a hair dryer, which was quite inconvenient. As for breakfast, it was ₱799 per person. But the options were quite limited: rice, eggs, hotdog, corned beef, potato wedges, two kinds of fruit—papaya and watermelon—pandesal, and sliced bread. At one point, the bread almost caused their microwave to catch fire! They also had coffee and juice. I was honestly disappointed because, considering the price, I expected more. For the same price, you can find all-you-can-eat breakfast options with a much wider variety of food. In terms of service, though, the staff were very nice and helpful. That’s something I really can’t complain about. The hotel itself is already quite old. I understand that it may be considered affordable, but even if the hotel is old, I still hoped that the overall experience would feel worth the price. For me, the breakfast was definitely not worth ₱799 per person. For comparison, Manila Prince Hotel, which is more affordable than Bayview, exceeded my expectations. The hotel is also quite old, but the quality of their service—especially the breakfast—is on a completely different level. Anyway, we still enjoyed our stay because we were there to relax and spend time together. But would I book again? Probably not, unless I really need to stay there because of its location and accessibility to the places I need to go."

"It's a 30-minute Grab ride from the airport if there's no traffic. The hotel is in a historical building, and you can really feel its grandeur in the lobby, hallways, and staircases. However, while it's near the coast, the surrounding area isn't very clean, so I wouldn't recommend walking around. A 5-minute Grab ride to Robinson Place will get you everything you need: a supermarket, a drugstore, and restaurants. The pool on the 4th floor has a great view and is easy to use as it's not crowded. The breakfast buffet is about average. Intramuros is also about a 5-minute Grab ride away."

"My stay at Lido de Paris Hotel in Manila was a mix of convenience and areas that could use improvement. The location is definitely one of its strongest points — it’s close to major spots in Manila, making it easy to get around. The lobby and common areas have a classic, slightly vintage feel, which adds character. The room itself was decent, though it could benefit from some updates. The bed was comfortable enough for a short stay, but certain amenities felt a bit dated. Cleanliness was acceptable, though not exceptional. Staff were generally polite and helpful, especially at check‑in. One thing to note is that the surrounding area can be busy and noisy, especially at night, so it may not be ideal for light sleepers. Still, for travelers looking for an affordable stay in a central location, the hotel offers reasonable value."

"we booked this trip to celebrate my 18th birthday, me and my friends enjoyed the amenities, the room was cold enough to keep the cupcakes in shape even if there was a refrigerator ( it was cold to the point na parang hotdog kami sa freezer 😆 ) 10/10 overall experience, would definitely book again!"
