Reception was a bit cold. Emailed them we’re celebrating our wedding anniversary and requested a surprise room set up for my husband yet the manager does not read email on time as they knocked on the door at 6pm to offer the “surprise”. Bathroom toiletries are ill equipped— for the price of the room I don’t want to be asking room services for lotion or earbuds! Booked a celebratory dinner at Dip, their open wines are past their acceptable rate, we requested to open a fresh bottle. Surprised to see them return the “expired ones” back on shelf after using an “oxy vacuum machine”. Sad. Our server is very good and polite, a snappy young man (sorry forgot his name). Thank you dong, you’re really attentive. Food: Beef cheek was good, but not the Wagyu beef, it has a lot of inedible parts— disappointing for the price. The side dishes were good. Breakfast is an okay spread.

NaKaKaIt was very clean and had a wonderful exotic atmosphere, typical of Cebu. Although the beach wasn't very clean, I had originally planned to enjoy the pool and the ambiance, so it wasn't a major issue. However, the path from the front desk to the room and to the pool was sandy, which meant my shoes quickly got covered in sand, and that was a bit of a drawback.

Guest UserWe had a wonderful stay at Mercure Mactan and were very happy with our experience. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located in Mactan Newtown, where there are plenty of food options, restaurants, and cafes, all just a short walk from the hotel.
The staff were friendly and accommodating. We were also celebrating a birthday during our stay, and the hotel kindly prepared a simple cake for us, which we really appreciated. It was a lovely little touch that made the celebration more special.
Another great thing is that guests can enjoy access to the pool and beach in Mactan Newtown, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
The only area that could be improved is the breakfast selection, but it wasn’t a major issue and didn’t take away from our overall experience.
Overall, we had a great stay and would definitely consider coming back!

Boris_MaestroThey have a Michelin star. It's one of the best quiet hotels, and the pool is the largest in Cebu. There's a beach. Jet ski rental is 6200 pesos per hour. You can swim in the sea, but sometimes there's low tide and very little water. They don't let you go far out. This option is for those who love pools. There are several restaurants. The service is pleasant, and the prices match the hotel's caliber. The interior is decent. You can tell some things could be tweaked, but overall it's excellent. Security is good. The lifts all work. The staff are friendly. We stayed for three days. We met one Russian, 15 Chinese, and a couple of Europeans. Thanks for the wonderful time.

I had a hot, uncomfortable disappointed, and we were in utter shocked that the room I booked was not in their system. As I was rebooking, it was not the same as the first booking then blacked out occured. During the blacked out the my booking end up with only a bed in dorm style quarters, public bathroom and no privacy.
My first booking was a package trip from Cebu to Manila which still in a wrong date. The actual date for the flight was to be on August 19 @ 9:50 but the three agent that I spoke to on the 18th got my hotel canceled and only provided me a rebooked solution. Sure, I can rebooked, thank so much for making my simple trip into **************** with my family, along withy impatient high functioning autism, 24 years old son who doesn't like his iPad to be low battery and no wifi.
To remind you that the black out still happening, so during my aunty and son lunch the black still going. I have no idea what kind of menu and price for food and drinks. As I saw the server put the first plate of food, I was shocked to see the mountain square shape nacho cheese beyond understanding. My aunty is only 90 to 100 pounds. She doesn't speak English and doesn't understand what she ordered, so she asked question about salad and a slice of pizza. But that not what the server brought, he came out again carrying nacho cheese, same size as the first nacho cheese/beef, except the second is chicken then a whole large Canadian bacon pizza. I couldn't believe the amount of food that was ordered then a Red Bull for my autistic son? My aunty was repeatedly saying that she only want salad and a slice pizza then water. What she really wanted the cook and server wanted to do is take away all the food back including the Red Bull. Oh, one more set of food, two big pieces of Burrito. The hotel is still in black out and stuffy hot and dark.
The staff are not good listener. My son started eating and drinking the Red Bull, when I saw him, I told the staff that Red Bull straight might kill him of a heart attack. I also mentioned that my son doesn't know self control when it comes to food which is called glutenny . He already pass his regular weight. I heard my aunty said that my son ordered all the food; she had no idea what he was ordering.
Meanwhile the black out still continuing till around 5:30 pm, every building around the area has their electricity back on but not the Papabo. Our booking still in process. The manager charged me for the lunch even though the mistake was the their service, taking order from an autistic person instead of asking his parents. The manager decided to booked us in the one room that has two bunk bed, private bathroom and has windows cause still black out. The room is stuffy and hot, it's on the fourth floor, no elevator and dark to go up the stairs. We decided to lock up our things in the room cause still black out.
My aunty over heard that the electricity bill was not paid. So as soon as I got down. The manager charged me 1500 pesos cash plus 1200 pesos for lunch that I only got to eat two slices of pizza and a couple of bite of nacho beef. I didn't get to have the burritos. The Papabo manager quickly went to pay for their electricity bill after she spoke to the owner.
My aunty and me went to the beach. I for sure locked the bedroom and still no electriçity. My son went to 7/11 to charge the iPad. We got back at the hotel at 8:30 or so and the electricity was on and my son also in the in the hotel. Do recognized that the hotel keys was an actual key, and I only have the key with. In my surprised our bedroom door was wide open, our things are scattered on the chair and table. Now, just today at this time, I'm still looking for my necklace that has my Mom piece of earing, my oldest son alligator tooth pendant and my initial pendant A.
I'll call the hotel when I finished looking at our things here.Yap, my necklace is missing.

Guest UserI had a pleasant stay at Savoy Hotel Mactan Cebu. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and quick to assist with any requests. The hotel facilities, especially the swimming pool, were well-maintained, and the location was convenient, with easy access to the airport and nearby attractions. The breakfast offered a good variety of food, although adding more local dishes would make it even better. Overall, I had a great experience and would recommend this hotel to both business and leisure travellers.

Anonymous UserLocation wise, this is pefect. You can just take any public transport and you are there when you get off. The staff are very well trained, very nice and very polite. Everything looked very clean and even if the hotel is not that big, they had a badminton/volleball courts. There is enough beach front to walk around. For a Lapu-lapu beach, their beach is clean enough as well. They had plenty of covered lounge couches to enjoy beach front even under the sun. The pool is small but it feels clean.
We paid an extra ₱ 500 to get the ”upgrade” for the ocean view and it was our biggest mistake causing us to lose sleep. Apparently, the room assigned to us was part of an adjoining room and the sound insulation was terrible. We can hear everything happening in the other room and unfortunately the couple in the other room were going at it very loudly (the girl was shouting) until around 5 in the morning. We don't recommend the breakfast buffet as well especially if you are paying the extra ₱1,100 for another person. Very few choices, very salty meat dishes and we don't know exactly what caused it but we had a stomachache after breakfast.

Hey Luis Where Are YouThe hotel had a very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. The lobby was decorated with soft lighting and a few comfortable couches. My room was spacious enough and had a nice view of the street below. The bed was very comfortable, and the pillows were just right. I really liked the small balcony where I could sit and drink my morning coffee.

JhnllydIf you are looking for a fancy stay, this isn't it. But if you just need a place to sleep for a very cheap price, Aosmec CampHotel is definitely worth it. It’s perfect for solo travelers or backpackers who are only in Manila for a quick layover or a US Embassy appointment.
The ”rooms” are actually indoor tents, which is a unique experience. Even though you're in a tent, the air conditioning in the main area is strong, so it stays cool enough to sleep comfortably. The location is the best part—you are right in the middle of everything, close to malls and transport. Just keep in mind that since it’s a shared space, it can get a bit noisy when other people move around or unzip their tents. If you bring earplugs and don’t mind sharing a bathroom, you really can’t beat the price. For a low-budget stay, it’s a solid 4/5 stars.

I always use this place when I'm in Mactan Newtown. Overall, I'm very satisfied, but this time, I couldn't get through to the front desk, there was a power outage, towels weren't left after room cleaning, the air conditioning was acting up, and one of the elevators was out for repair, causing huge crowds. Despite all this, the service is great, and I absolutely love it overall. Even with the chaos, the staff are always kind, and I'll definitely keep coming back. It's just a shame that the facilities are showing their age; that's the only downside.
