GGuest UserThe stay was excellent! The hotel facilities are very modern, and every detail in the room was thoughtfully considered. The toiletries were high-quality, the bathroom was very clean, and there was plenty of hot water, making it very comfortable. The hotel restaurant is also worth trying; the local specialties are delicious, and the service is attentive. The staff, in particular, were warm and professional, making me feel very welcome. In short, highly recommended, and I will definitely stay again.

I didn't stay overnight, so I can't comment on the quality of the bed and linens, but everything else seemed fine. Thank you very much!

GGuest UserThe hotel is located in the center of Irkutsk, right next to a shopping plaza, making dining and shopping very convenient. The hotel breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options and generous portions, and the service was also very good. We even got to try the local specialty dumplings, which are definitely worth a try!

ВВалентина П.We stayed twice (October 6, 2025 and October 17, 2025). The location is excellent—close to the airport and no road noise. Wonderful, helpful staff—from reception to room service from the restaurant. The breakfasts are wonderful, in a cozy restaurant. The food at the Okhotnikov restaurant is a whole other story! Huge portions, delicious food...and, for especially picky little guests, they even prepare porridge, mashed potatoes, and salad. 🙏 I'm very grateful to the staff! Any request I make by calling reception is fulfilled immediately, without long waits—both from the maid and from the restaurant. Thank you for your work! I won't look for other options anymore; we will only stay at Zvezda. 🫶🏻

OOlgaVanThe hotel from my past is as if in the 80s returned.
On the facade of 3 stars, in reality everything is very sad. Beds are very narrow, not more than 80cm , mattresses are very uncomfortable, springs are torched . The mattress requires either a top or a mattress at least 5 cm. For a large person it will be uncomfortable to sleep on a narrow bed. Pushers at the same time two, demolition, bed clean, it was delighted.
In the room there is a refrigerator that had to be turned off, very loud.
There is a teapot, a bowl and glasses, but water is not put. There is a cooler on the floor, it may be supposed to run to it with a teapot. There is no tea, coffee and so on. Why the teapot, I didn't understand.
There were towels in the bathroom and some bags with shampoo. No use.
Among the advantages of the proximity to the airport, it is evident from here and the price as at a good hotel in the city.
We needed to stay overnight as it was an early departure but failed to rest. From the corridor 100% hearing and inconvenience of beds led our attempts to none.
For breakfast didn't go, so I can't say anything.
Hotel is not recommended.

GGuest UserWhen I booked the room, I was sure there would be a private restroom and shower, but upon check-in, I discovered the facilities were shared. Please note this! It's very important to me that the facilities are private, so if this is also critical for you, I don't recommend this hotel (hostel).
Another thing that bothered me was that the doors to the common areas don't lock at night, meaning anyone can come in. The common doors leading from the elevator also don't have any kind of combination lock. The management said there were cameras everywhere, but for me personally, cameras can't stop me from doing something while I'm in the act; they can be used in court after the fact. So, this detail also caused me discomfort.
Otherwise, everything was fine: clean, conveniently located, nice courtyard, and we booked through the app without any additional paperwork or passport scans.

GGuest UserWe stayed in a room with two single beds, and the room and bathroom were very small! Our friends all booked rooms with two single beds, but their rooms and bathrooms were larger than ours – it seems to depend on luck when rooms are assigned! Looking at the hotel's room assignment map, rooms 1 and 2 are the larger rooms. There was no complimentary bottled water in the room, but there was a hot and cold water dispenser at the front desk and on each floor. The dispensers always had cold water, but the one on my floor didn't have hot water! Regarding the hotel's free Wi-Fi, the first method is to rely on the front desk staff to help you connect to the hotel Wi-Fi, but this only works on the front desk floor! The second method also relies on the front desk staff, but you need a local Russian mobile phone number to receive the hotel Wi-Fi authentication SMS, which allows you to use the hotel Wi-Fi in your room! There's no elevator, and we stayed on the third and fourth floors, making it difficult to move our luggage! There was an electric kettle in the room, a wall-mounted radiator, and another electric heater that you could plug in yourself. The bathroom didn't have heating or a heated towel rack, but the hot water and water pressure were sufficient. Breakfast is a buffet and quite good, with hot water, coffee, and tea also provided. The hotel is located near the Central Market, about a ten-minute walk away. The hotel reception is staffed 24 hours a day; they are helpful and can assist with booking taxis via an app. Even if there is a language barrier, they can use the app for translation.
