"We stayed at the hotel for 4 days between location changes. What a wonderful hotel! The staff at the reception were very pleasant, as were the cleaning staff. Our room was cleaned immaculately every day, and both shower and beach towels were changed daily. They provided 2 bottles of water every day, even if the previous ones hadn't been consumed. The room has everything you need: air conditioning, a TV, a tea set, a kettle, a refrigerator, umbrellas, a safe, an electronic clock, and an insect repellent. The bathroom is fully stocked with toiletries: shampoo, shower gel, conditioner, dental kits, cotton pads/swabs, and shower caps. The pool isn't deep, but it's very clean (it's cleaned every morning). Around the pool, there are sun loungers, umbrellas, and plenty of trees, so you can find shade and cool off even on the hottest days. There aren't many people by the pool, so you're sure to get some relaxation! The location is quite convenient. Just around the corner from the hotel, you'll find a 7/11, a currency exchange, and massage services. The beach is about a 10-minute walk, but be prepared for many boats in the water, ready to take you to nearby islands. However, the Thais aren't pushy, and the boats don't cause any discomfort. If you prefer, you can take a taxi to a more secluded beach where there are no boats, but you can rent kayaks and go snorkeling. We highly recommend this hotel to everyone; we will definitely be back!"

"The location is quite far from the airport. If you want a more relaxed experience and don't want a long car ride after your flight, there are closer options. Also, it's not near the main street, so it takes about a 10-minute walk to get to a convenience store. However, the hotel provides bicycles, which makes getting to the convenience store much easier. The hygiene was just okay. Perhaps because the spaces are quite large, it's hard to keep them spotless, but it was still acceptable. The toilet flush was very weak; I often forgot and sometimes even just a tissue wouldn't flush. I wanted to throw tissues in the nearby trash can, but the lid was broken and wouldn't open with the foot pedal, so I had to open it by hand. These little details really detracted from the overall stay. On the first night, a thunderstorm and lightning damaged the nearby power facilities. When we got back, before we even showered, the entire villa suddenly lost power and water. There was still no power or water supply by the next morning, so we had to borrow shower facilities from the adjacent hotel, which was very inconvenient. When we returned to the hotel, power resumed around noon, but there was no water supply until the evening. We had planned to drop off our things and go out for dinner after shopping, but instead, we had to wait an hour for staff to fix things in the hotel room and ended up eating instant noodles. I understand that the hotel couldn't control these circumstances, but I still hope they can arrange for staff to be on duty even in the early hours, so we don't feel helpless and can seek assistance. Because of the power outage at night, my phone was almost dead, and the flashlight function didn't last long. The flashlight in the room was also broken, which really impacted safety. We had planned a floating breakfast for the second day, but with the power out and the pool water unfiltered, we really couldn't get into the pool to eat breakfast, so we requested to cancel. The hotel said it was too late to cancel the order. However, due to the power outage, they offered to provide the floating breakfast on the third day as compensation, which I appreciate. But at the same time, I hope the hotel can communicate internally a bit more – how could we have eaten breakfast in the pool when there was no power or water? It would feel more considerate if they had asked us multiple times beforehand if we still wanted to proceed with the floating breakfast."

"This was my favorite hotel of the trip! The location is fantastic, right on Rawai Beach, and there are so many charming beachfront restaurants along the strip. My kids absolutely loved the pool and spent ages playing in it. It's also a great spot for taking photos!"

"The owner is from Beijing and is very friendly. The room is excellent, very new, and spotless. During the off-season, booking a twin room is a fantastic deal, allowing you to comfortably sleep in a large bed. The small courtyard is also charming. The pool isn't huge, but it's more than enough for kids to play in. There's a washing machine in the gym area, plenty of hangers in the room, and even a drying rack on the balcony, which is super convenient after a day out at sea. The location is a bit tucked away, so I recommend arriving during the day. Right at the alley's entrance, you'll find a Tops convenience store and a longtail boat rental spot. It's 1.2 km from Rawai Seafood Market and 800 meters from WeCafe and a small shopping center. We were lucky enough to catch a big tide and went crabbing on the beach, seeing many crabs I'd never encountered before!"

"I've been to Phuket many times and have pretty much covered Phuket Town and all the main attractions. These days, all I want to do is spa, eat, and drink, and maybe hit up the Cliff Restaurant at Promthep Cape nearby for a photo op. I usually come here to escape the hustle and bustle of concrete jungles and crowds, and this place truly is a secluded haven. It's affordable, and during my May trip, outside of the rainy season, watching the sunrise and sunset from my hotel window each day just made time slow down beautifully."

"For the latter half of our trip to Phuket, we switched to the Marina Phuket Resort, nestled between Kata and Karon beaches. Firstly, this hotel boasts a traditional Thai style, built on a hillside with a rich tropical rainforest vibe. Strolling through the grounds feels like being immersed in a romantic jungle. The architecture is distinctly Thai, and the landscaping offers beautiful scenery at every turn. What truly stands out is that the rear of the hotel connects directly to Karon Beach. Come sunset, gazing out at the horizon, the crimson twilight merges with the sea, waves caress the golden sand, and the dark cliff rocks add to a stunning, unparalleled view. You can walk along the soft, fine sand or enjoy playing in the water – it's perfect. Next door, there's a restaurant that hosts fireworks and fire-breathing shows in the evenings, so if your timing is right, you can enjoy them for free. Secondly, the hotel's service is generally attentive and gentle, very much in the Thai style – perfect for a relaxed, slow-paced vacation. Guests receive complimentary dinner daily at the Red Chopsticks restaurant right outside, offering a fusion of cuisines that's pretty decent. Breakfast is served by the pool, though the selection isn't extensive. Finally, I personally feel this hotel is better suited for older families or couples seeking a quiet retreat. For families with young children, there aren't many play areas, and due to its hillside location, it might be inconvenient for the elderly to move around."

"The hotel is relatively quiet, which is a big plus! It was better than expected. Although climbing the stairs was tiring, the staff helped with our luggage. The pool is beautiful, and I even practiced snorkeling there on the first day, haha. The location is excellent, with a great massage parlor nearby that I visited daily and shared in my photos. There's also a famous restaurant downstairs with a super delicious mango shake—all within a 5-minute walk. Plus, there's a shooting range and Kata Beach. My friend said Karon Beach was dirty, so I chose to stay near Kata Beach this time, and the sand was indeed very fine. The location is truly superb. Several front desk staff speak Chinese, making communication very smooth. The most noteworthy thing is that Skyline Adventure is nearby. We booked through Trip.com, and they picked us up last, which saved us a lot of unnecessary detours and waiting for other members. Nice!"

"The staff here are all very friendly and extremely enthusiastic. We especially appreciate Rach's proactive and friendly service. Although the lobby is a bit far from the rooms and we had to call the front desk every time we went out or came back, the shuttle service arrived very quickly and never delayed us. Even when we returned late, there were always staff members on standby to drive us back to our room immediately. The hotel provides shuttle services to and from the Old Town and Central Festival. It would be even better if we could take the shuttle to the Old Town and then be picked up from Central Festival on the return trip. The room was spacious, clean, and the air conditioning was excellent, though the water pressure was a bit weak. The hotel environment is quiet and peaceful, making it a perfect place to relax. I would definitely want to stay at this hotel again!"

"Pros: All the staff were wonderful, plentiful, and always greeted us with a smile. When I checked out at 6 AM, they had a packed breakfast and a cute little elephant ready for me. The five pools are great, especially the 4.5m deep diving pool where both adults and kids can enjoy diving. The hotel is quiet and private with no unwanted disturbances. It's also very close to Nai Harn Beach. Cons: The room was a bit damp; even with the air conditioning on 24/7, the bed still felt damp. The bedding was quite simple. I had requested a king-size bed but still received a twin bed pushed together. The pools close at 7 PM. The up-and-down terrain offers a bit of exploration fun, but it's mostly tiring, especially when you forget something and have to go back to your room. There's ongoing construction nearby, and the closest convenience store and restaurant are a 500m walk away."

"This is a very standard resort, nestled on a hillside near Karon Beach (a few hundred meters direct distance, with a shuttle service to the beach). The environment is serene and pleasant, with a full range of facilities, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The hotel property is large and situated on a hill, so dedicated staff are available to help with luggage from check-in to check-out, which is very convenient. A special shout-out: The hotel anticipates guests' needs. We changed room types during our stay, and the hotel, when possible, had the new room prepared in advance and arranged staff to assist with a seamless transition, without any unnecessary waiting or repetitive check-in/out at the front desk. This was incredibly thoughtful. P.S. The breakfast selection is diverse; I highly recommend the omelet from the egg station – definitely give it a try!"
