From the Manayunk station, it's a three-minute walk to the cottage.If you arrive by car, safely stop in the street and unload your bags at the door. There is free street parking and a free unpaved parking lot two blocks away.Pay close attention to posted parking signs and street stripes.Other things to noteThe stairs are the original, old-fashioned spiral stairs. While they are in excellent condition, they can be intimidating.Toting large suitcases up the stairs is not advised; travel light.Please be sure this is a good fit for you before booking the cottage.There are fireplaces on the first and second floors. They are both permanently closed and inoperable.Please do not attempt to build a fire in either location.The fireplace in the living room has an electric heater and fireplace. You are welcome to enjoy the electric fireplace unit.
