"The hotel consists of two buildings, one of which has an external corridor. The hotel service is very good, and the check-in and check-out are fast. The room has a usable area of 26 square meters and a floor height of 2.4 meters. The breakfast is rich. As it is far away from the city, the surrounding area is very quiet. But it is a bit inconvenient to go into the city. As the hotel allows pets to stay, and the house is carpeted, the springtails carried by the animals are not easy to remove, and there are more than 20 bites on my feet."
"We had a wonderful stay at Christmas time. The hotel was beautifully decorated. Check in was easy, we were offered a$20 upgrade for our room, which we accepted and we enjoyed our 3 nights in a suite- lovely!
The courtyard was also decorated and the outdoor fireplace was always blazing. We liked having a glass of wine in the evening. We also loved “The Den” bar!
The pizza was yummy! Such a cool experience- we will definitely stay here next time we are in Charleston!"
"The Indigo in is in the perfect location for discovering Charleston on foot as it is in a very central location.
The rooms were comfortable although the bathroom was a little bit small
Basic but good healthy breakfast is served every morning and you can eat it in a beautiful patio."
"The best things about the Hampton Inn were the location and the hotel employees. The hotel is 15 minutes to half an hour walk from Charleston’s major attractions, including shopping, and twenty minutes from the airport. Charleston is made for walking. It is compact, clean and safe, so we walked everywhere. The attitude of the front desk employees epitomized southern hospitality. The hotel offers free breakfast which is basic, but satisfying. Room cleaning is offered upon request.
twenty minutes from the airport. "
"The location has nothing to say, it is too convenient, so basically punching in the net red restaurant does not need to go to the queue, it is very convenient to walk. The facilities are a bit old and the health is decent"
"Could not have been happier with the room, the staff, or our stay. They have a lil area that has items for purchase and the drink selection could have included milk, but given the fact our room had a full size fridge, was not a bit bothered as we just bought some. It was spacious and had just about everything you could think of. Outlet usage was a bit sparse on one side of the bed, but again, not a big deal. Price was amazing. I would absolutely stay here again."
"The hotel is a quaint place in the heart of historic downtown Charleston. Wonderful breakfast! However, we forgot a bottle of wine we had purchased in the room and they failed to inform us even though we didn’t get our car from valet for several hours after checkout AND they identified us as the people that checked out when we picked it up. Sure, it was our fault that we forgot it but I expected a higher level of service from this hotel."

"A solid option with easy access to the bridge and downtown. We fpund it to be very clean. The beds seem quite new and are comfortable. Considering that is a motel and not a hotel, we felt like we got a good value stay for a quiet and relaxing night, compared to the alternatives downtown and nearby."

Great
RRamzi L.Spent one night at this location driving back from Florida to Virginia:
. Well maintained and clean hotel.
. The breakfast service was great: they even make waffle to order for you and many options to choose from.
. Easy check-in & check-out.
. Location is good: close to everything.
. The room was clean but was missing some trash bags other than all was good.
Will stay here again.
GGuest UserWhen we arrived at the hotel and checked in. We enquired about the breakfast which was included in the booking. We were suprised to find out that there wasn't actually a breakfast. You got this card, and every morning you could pick out one item out of their ”supermarket”. The ”supermarket” was basically a minifridge and freezer, and a couple of shelves. Here you could find little cups of icecream, frozen minipizza, water, cola, and things like crisps and m&m's. This is hardly a breakfast. And you could only take one item, not even a drink and a snack. We said that this was not what we expected when we made the booking with breakfast included.
The receptionist didn't even apologize just stated that the information on the website was old from 2021 and that they hadn't gotten around to changing it.
We decided on this hotel because the breakfast was included. It was a pretty expensive booking. With over 400 dollars per night you would expect at least and nice breakfast or apologies and compensation.
At the end we just took a bottle of water in the morning and had breakfast elsewhere.
GGuest UserThe location is the best for my needs. The service was above and beyond. The complimentary breakfast was very good. I usually travel with my fur baby, this hotel allows this. This time I did not but was just as accommodating. The rate I recieved was very good.I appreciate this flexibility. Great room. Will stay again during Christmas holidays.
Thanks,
Rhonda
GGuest UserThe Hotel was very convenient. Right off Savannah Hwy. close to anything you would need. We were there to buy a car and a huge number of dealerships were just down the street. Far enough off that major thoroughfare to be quite though. Front clerk yliana got us checked in fast, explained everything to us and followed up on our stay.
Breakfast area was well stocked and food was great. The eggs were excellent and didn’t seem like normal powdered affair.
Room was very clean and large. We had a king suite with kitchen. Sofa was comfortable and not too much worn. Shower was large and extremely clean. Another excellent Hampton stay for us.
XXiaobofengqiaoI don't know why this hotel has such a low rating. The hotel is quiet and the river can be seen from the bedroom window. Outside the bedroom, there is a sofa, desk, bar similar to the living room space, the sofa can be used as a folding part. There is also a small balcony. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast is plentiful, nuts have pine nuts and cranberries. After visiting the old town of Savannah, it was seven or eight kilometers away.
GGuest UserExcellent hotel stay with family located in a very convenient location to explore Charleston downtown and nearby Folly Beach. Hotel staff were friendly, room came clean, and breakfast was served nice and warm to enjoy each morning during our vacation. Shower/tub area of the bathroom could always be upgraded as ours felt a little faulty at times, but well aware that this hotel is an older building that's been renovated recently. For the price we paid for our short weekend stay, it was perfect for our needs and made our stay very comfortable in Charleston.
똑똑바로I stayed at the hotel for three days to attend a conference. My first impression was that the room was spacious enough for a solo stay, equipped with a coffee pot, though the refrigerator was empty. However, complimentary drinking water was available at the front desk, and a microwave was also accessible. The bathroom fan made a friction noise when operating, so I chose not to use it. Additionally, it was a self-circulating system rather than being connected to an exhaust line, which I found somewhat unexpected.
RRickCarpet had ripples from bed to bathroom (tripping hazard) toilet tissue holder and bathroom baseboard poorly repaired. Room are not well insulated as we could here upstairs walking around all night and next doors tv blaring at 630am. Breakfast was good, efficient and different day to day. Front desk was very welcoming and all staff we talked to friendly. We still expected more in a quality room from Marriot
GGuest UserVery nice hotel. Middle of downtown so walking was the way to go. I would have liked to know that it was valet only, which I dont like, and the fact that it was going to cost me 98 bucks for the 2 days we were there...I might have chosen a different place. But overall it was nice. Big room, small tvs but we were out exploring, and you have full control over the AC. The hotel itself is the original Citadel which is really awesome staying in a piece of history.
GGuest UserThis hotel is clean and the staff provides great service. Unfortunately, each room has a de-humidifier which can't be switched off and is quite loud, especially during the night. Bring ear plugs!
