"The workers are attentive, rooms are clean, great water pressure. Breakfast is included and free water/tea/coffee throughout the day. Overall we had a great stay here."
"We enjoyed everything about this historic hotel: the room, the lobby chock full of art and references to its speak-easy past, the pastry shop, the bar, the comfy, covered front porch, the pool and fountains, food and drinks served poolside, the friendly staff, and the friendly guests we met. Also, the Hollander is perfectly located in St. Pete, being in the historic downtown district near my company headquarters and close to great destinations such as the Salvador Dali museum, Chihuly blown-glass gallery, and Morean arts center. I love historic downtowns and boutique hotels such as the Hollander. The rooms in historic hotels are often smaller than ones in chain hotels, but they more than compensate with their unique personalities and intimate atmospheres, which leave me with vivid memories of my stays in these sweet lodgings and the cities they call home."
"Whenever we go to Saint Pete, we always stay here mostly for the great location. $32 to park a car overnight👎🏻 $15-$20 should be the most you would have to pay. It goes from a four to being a three just for that reason alone."
"Overall, a decent place to stay. Has lots of potential but work should be given to spruce it up, even though it’s a very old building. Here are my main reasons for the 3 score rating:
-great location downtown and near the pier. Super walkable to lots of great restaurants and shopping.
-eclectic, cool atmosphere
-no onsite parking
-bedding clean but bedframe was very dirty and scuffed. Bed firm but nice enough.
-floors were hardwood and appeared to not have been mopped or cleaned with something that didn’t rinse properly, very sticky.
-water in shower did not get hot, actually barely got warm
-door lock was broken
-windows had no screens, shower window fell out when we tried to open it, most room windows wouldn’t stay opened
-tv was attached to a Roku (with only Roku remote) and had no main remote to adjust TV settings, tv was on a stretch mode so you couldn’t watch a movie or anything easily.
-staff was super friendly"
"The hotel system was broken when I checked in. I waited for almost 2 hours. It did not meet the quality of Hilton. The front desk brother knew that he was throwing the pot and apologized, but said it was not his responsibility. The hot water supplied is basically cold and smells of coffee. Parking costs 25 US dollars per night. The location of the hotel is invincible."
"good environment! Free coffee, tea, water, and biscuits for breakfast. Not too full, but already very good. Free drinks and champagne in the evening from 5: 00-7: 00. Hotel location is good, next to the parking lot and restaurant. They also have a one-bedroom suite with a kitchenette, which is great. The hotel manager John was warm and attentive. Ask him anything."
"Good experience for a two night stay in a very convenient location. Decent room that appeared clean and had good amenities. Good check-in experience and good customer service from the manager on duty that evening. I asked for additional hangers as we had excess clothing to hang up and she brought shampoo to the room as our room did not have any. In all, it was good value for the type of hotel it is. Only negative: their ”breakfast” was coffee and juice (!)."
"Stayed at this Courtyard for a quick weekend trip to St. Pete. The hotel is a historic building. The staff was friendly and helpful. Although it was an older building the hotel seems to have been recently updated. The rooms were a little on the small side for a Courtyard, but very nice. The location is close to the downtown and Pier area. 15 to 20 min drive to the beach depending on the beach. Very centrally located. My only issue was the amount to park ($37 a night). The valet staff was nice and professional."
"Rooms were clean and tidy. Bed was comfy.
Location is good for the city. Parking available at a charge.
Breakfast was not very good, no order, children picking up food with fingers and even putting back, dirty plates left on the door countertops. This really was disappointing as the rooms were so nice and clean.
However many noisy guests throughout the night, slamming of doors, also a lot of dogs staying and they barked a lot. No one came to rectify this.
Would possibly stay again if we could get a floor with no dogs, and knew security sorted out noise and would skip breakfast!"
"The hotel experience/accommodations overall were good. However, the reservations I made included breakfast for two for two days, and it was awkward to acquire the breakfast portion of my reservation. Instead, the hotel gave me a $20.00 per day credit for one guest for breakfast. Also upon check-out, I was not provided a room receipt - so I am not sure what to use for my expense report, and I do not know what I have been actually charged for. This reservation arrangement was not what I expected and I doubt very seriously if I will use this service again. It was embarrassing and I am especially uncomfortable with what I will be charged."

Great
YYouleyushengThe hotel has a long history, many celebrities have left footprints here, including Marilyn Monroe, the room is clean and spacious, the self-service check-in is very convenient, the breakfast is very rich, everything is perfect.
GGuest UserGreat location good for walking around the town. The hotel is spacious and clean. The bar has good selection of drinks. A little overpriced for the size of rooms and overall for the hotel.
DDominicanGypsyBeautiful boutique hotel! Very vibrant. Location was great with easy access to everything you need. Restaurants, shops, breweries, coffee shops etc.. parking on the street and side streets if needed. Easy to access scooters. We had a quiet room in the hotel. There is a bar/club downstairs so just be aware of that. Very LGBTQ friendly. The pool was beautiful. Staff was very nice.
PPatricia from NLWe had a very pleasant stay at this hotel in Florida. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, which made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The rooms and common areas were clean and well-maintained. The location is convenient, just off the highway, making it easy to reach and a great base for traveling around. The breakfast, including good coffee, was better than expected and a nice bonus to start the day. Overall, we would happily stay here again!
GGuest UserWe really liked the location and design. However, we noted there was no bedspread on the bed, the floor was sticky, refridgerator did not work, the shower floor had massive hair in it creating the water to back up, the towels were small and thin, and there was no parking option other than valet costing an unplanned expense. We were told there would be robes in the room but there were not. We were told we would have a gulf view but had to crank our heads way to the side to see it. We informed the desk and all they said was they would inform housekeeping. There was nothing luxury about this as it seemed basic. The resturant was not ready yet. We had coffee only which was good. Very disappointing experience otherwise.
BBevanUsed to be a really good hotel but the service has gone downhill. When u walk in you can feel the eyes on you and feels like you are being judged. Very uneasy feeling when I go there
GGuest UserThe hotel is okay, but it does not provide room service by default, it is only provided when it is called, and it does not give new bottled water after it is called. The hotel's buffet breakfast is relatively simple. It should be considered a slightly better American breakfast, which is much worse than the English or European breakfast. The location of the hotel is very good, just a few minutes away from the sea. Parking is too expensive, 35 knives per night for valet parking, we walked to the public parking building two blocks away to park, it's okay, more than ten knives per night.
GGuest UserWas a nice location not far at all from tropicana field. Breakfast was nice and left full before checking out, which was also an easy process.
GGuest UserThey told me I smoked cigarettes in the room when I never put a cigarette to my lips ever in my life. The entire staff smokes cigarettes… how would they REALLY be able to tell anyway? Roaches are prominent in the room as well.
